Lunsat: Sometimes Invalid frequency error occurs if you try to enter KU TP into a sat you have defined as Cband and Cband TP into a sat defined as KU. check under dish settings that values are as folows: Cband: LNB type = single, LNB frequency= 5150. KU band:LNB type= universal, LNB frequency=9750, LNB frequency H = 10600.After checking through, I found out that i'm on KU band. upright2010: Note dat d tp i have u is for Daarsat and can not turn green on ur receiver. Check ur tps or are u getting all those channels i made mentioned cos i don't think there's anyth wrong wit ur set up but ur receives is mpeg 2I'm using MyTV ,after inputting any of this 11881 v 27500 it turns green.AFter i scanned all i have are the former channels.And after going to check manual scan again,i found out that it has been reverted to the default 10722v27500 |

upright2010: With ur current position u can watch football on tv madagasca, Oromiya, stv2.ortb & rdv(only on epl match day). But if u want to enjoy it better get urself mpeg 4/HD And a bigger dish of at least 1.2m. Mind u, all these with respect to the opinion of my Ogas @ d top. upright2010: U are already on Amos 5 but what's the model of ur receiver? Anyways inpute 11008v30000Decoder is strong 4663X and the dish pan is smaller than the normal dstv one |

agitator: He is already on Amos5 just that his installer used that sat to scan in the channels.The mytv dish is facing almost the same position as the dstv dish beside it. should i then use the frequency above to get Amos5 without changing the position |

ezo4fta: which stations are you receiving with ur present setup.I receive fortis tv, rts,rdv,racine tv,lmn tv ...and most of them are french speaking ones.There is a total of 62 channels on it and very few english stations. But i'd love to have one with more sports channels as well as religious ones |

Hi peeps,I'm a newbie in the satellite stuff .I've asked so many questions with very few answers received. My dish is currently set to Amos2,3 4W but i want to change to Amos 5.After inputting the tp and other stuffs,do i still have to tilt the dish direction outside? And can i use my current position to watch other satellites in the list once i get their frequencies? Thx in anticpn |
