A senior presidential spokesman Garba Shehu has apologised for his misleading information that only 10 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina were abducted on December 11, Igbere TV reports.

No fewer than 344 schoolboys were rescued from bandits who took them to Zamfara. The students arrived Katsina on Friday.

Mr Shehu said his information at the time about 10 boys were from sources that should “ideally know”. He added that it was not his intention to downplay the seriousness of the incident.

Alaska Obi, the doctor accused of rape by singer Queency Benna has told his side of the story during an Instagram chat with Ubi Franklin.

He said he had sex with the singer and agreed to pay 200 Dollars while she requested for 1000 Dollars. However, he only paid 100,000 Naira, hence the rape accusations.

Ubi pointed out that multiple other women have accused him of doing the same thing to them and he replied, "Most of them, I actually pay them but apparently, they always complain that I'm very rude and arrogant. "

Introverts are captivated by what's been dubbed the loneliest house in the world.

Photos of a picturesque white house perched on the clifftop of a tiny deserted island surrounded by sea have emerged online in recent days.

Many have joked that it's the perfect place to wait out a pandemic because of the lack of neighbours, with no helipad or jetty clearly visible in the breathtaking pictures.

"Looks like bliss," said one Reddit user, while another remarked it was "my dream house location".

Others have even said it would serve the occupants well in a zombie apocalypse or other catastrophe, although most have said they'd struggle with feelings of loneliness.

The incredibly isolated property is located on Elliðaey, south of Iceland, the most northeastern of the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago cluster.

The island offers absolutely no protection from the elements, so whoever lived there would have to cope with intense wind and cold.

A handful of families did in fact inhabit the island throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, but the final occupants moved to the mainland in the 1930s.

The island has been empty ever since, and it's prompted a number of theories including that it was inhabited by a religious hermit or was in the process of being bought by singer Björk.

In fact the house on the island is a lodge belonging to the Elliðaey Hunting Association, sadly for anyone excited by the prospect of moving there to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Singer, Queency Benna has taken to social media to cry for help after allegedly being raped.

According to Benna, a man raped her in a hotel in Abuja, leaving her feeling depressed and suicidal.

She shared his name, photos, and screenshots of chats they allegedly exchanged to back her claims that he raped her.

She said the man who is said to be a doctor, invited her for dinner and she was initially sceptical. She said she later went and it turned out she made "a big mistake".

She called him a "bloody hell rapist" and added that she's waiting for the doctor's report to be out.

She tagged the Nigerian police to her post.
