I am very very impressed, as a yoruba, I feel proud of wat u guys are doing, cos it takes Unity of purpose for u to agree like dis, though a lot of Yorubas are nt openly showing u support bt I can tell u, majority of d Yorubas too want to go, don't mind dos yeye ones dat call themselves social media influencers, dey av been bought n dey are only influencing their pockets. I just wish dat my igbo brothers can stop dis tribal fight with we Yorubas, ignore wat u see on social media, dos ones only make abt 2% of our population. As the SUN as already RISEN from the EAST, my hope is that it can SET in the WEST. Then d sky will be our limit, it's nt compulsory we stay together in d South, but we can join hands to fight a good course. #WE ARE ALL BIAFRIANS |
That generation is just wicked, they just want the country to give to dem till dey die, dey can't even give anything to d country, na so dem collect huge money for National Confab too dat time. |

Some people already saying it's not true, bt among those dat already made a comment, it will be difficult to get one person dat is insured. |
Walahi he try, help me greet am wen u see am. |
If I am ag President Osinbajo, I Will travel down to Enugu tomorrow n do a work with d South-East governors tagged "WE ARE ALL BIAFRIANS". |
Afterall they are brothers. Wen d Hausas fight for politics, immediately election cums, no matter their party, d North is d first. |
The former Governor of Osun State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola on Monday revealed that he wanted to slash workers salaries or retrench civil servants before he left government. He said the step was meant to cushion the effects of the global economic meltdown which started since 2008. Oyinlola was reacting to claims that the Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is maltreating workers in the state which did not happen during his era. He explained that when the state finances had continued to drop, he was ready to downsize or slash salaries before the intervention of the top echelon of the state civil service. “When we were there, we had two billion Naira coming from Abuja, we had 500 million Naira as our Internally Generated Revenue, we had 2.5 billion Naira in total. 1.6 billion Naira was for the salary, plus the pensions and the rest, we were using over 70 per cent of our revenue to foot the wage bill. “So, I decided to call a state stakeholders meeting to see if we could slash salaries or retrench workers, and decided that the recommendations from that meeting should be taken to the state House of Assembly for ratification. “When the head of the civil service knew about our idea, he pleaded that we should not downsize or slash salaries but give them the opportunity to work towards increasing the state IGR which I agreed to before we left office.” Oyinlola said he did not plunge the state into any debt as mechanisms were in place to offset the 18 billion credit facility obtained to finance the 2009 budget as backed by the state House of Assembly. “I did not have it in mind to put Osun in any debt before I left. It was in that time that the state Assembly led by Adejare Bello with 15 PDP and 11 APC members argued that we should borrow to finance the capital projects in the budget. Before the court sacked me, I had spent 10 billion Naira out of the 18 billion Naira, paid 2.4 billion out of the loan, and 7.6 billion Naira was left. I would have returned the money before my tenure expired in May 2011 but for the judgement.” “I borrowed to build UNIOSUN and I paid the debt in 11 months,” the former governor added. http://www.channelstv.com/2017/05/29/i-wanted-to-slash-workers-salaries-when-i-was-in-govt-oyinlola/ |
I don't know why my fellow Yorubas have problem with people wanting to b the architect of their own destiny, "WE ARE ALL BIAFRIANS" afterall. |
But we all know he is so close to d president n he has his ears anytime though dey said d president has ear problem but but has told dem to put it in writing. So our pastor should just write to his friend like Elrufai did n stop singing d song of war into our ears, as far as am concerned, dey are all in d same class, just dat dey rule us in different forms. |
U guys brought us into dis, so u n ur cohorts better b planning for hw to take us out of dis before a revolution dat will consume u all will start. People are angry and as far as am concerned "WE ARE ALL BIAFRIANS" though am wat dey call Afonja. |
The guy don carry am go spiritual level. |
How is dis news worthy? The guy is a Muslim. |
Wen did dey do d bidding? And I don't like d idea of d 2 states buying some percentage, we know wat happened to econet dat lagos n Delta bought, government don't have business doing business. |
Anybody see koro in d second pix? And why as Fashola refuse to go for any of d activities to celebrate lagos at 50? |
I think dey actually didn't announce Osinbajo was going to Italy till he left because of the rumour of coup n I guess dats why he is to cum back dis evening. And I think dats why Tinubu had to travel out of lagos yesterday after knowing he is travelling. |
The woman that was alleged to have sacked a pastor. |
I have always wondered why our presidential villa is guarded like CBN strong room, in other countries people visit their presidential villa as a tourist site but nt ours. Anyway kudos to Osinbajo, I know u av ur eye on dat seat even though u are pretending u don't, just do more to win d heart of Nigerians n we will stand up for u. Nigerians are very nice people, all dey want is for their government to cum down a little closer to dem. All d best "Ngolo Kante of Aso Villa". |
But people around Buhari wicked ooo, dey just cut off dis woman from her husband. He needs her now more than ever bt d power drunk cabal won't allow her. |
Sirhethat12:Make una just chill small but above all, make una no forget to have respect for constituted authority. Na even Bible talk am. |
yusufyusuf1:Dey said it is sponsored by his friends. |
Sirhethat12:So on a lighter mood, hw much are u paying ur profs oo, cos it seem like dey are d ones takin all ur money according to ur claim. Because even futa VC only receive 1.3million monthly oo |
ADEWUMIMichael:Well both government have already appointed an auditing firm to check d book of d skul, so I hope dey will cum up with there report soon cos it seem dats wat d two government are waiting for. |
Teewhy2:Cocoa pyramid bawo? I think say na groundnut pyramid dey for North. |
Sirhethat12:My point dear is dat u shouldn't tell my that Lautech has an excuse for her inability to pay her staffs from her IGR without depending on d state. Let me give u a small statistics. Ur skul has about 25,000 students for undergraduate, about 2,000 pre-degree students, about 500 post-graduate students (note I put d pre-degree n PG at a minimum u can av) Now u pay #65,000 for undergraduates Let's assume u pay #50,000 for pre-degree (it's more bt I just want to put it at a minimum) Post-graduate #100,000 (still a minimum) Then if we do a simple arithmetic, we have the following as ur skuls income. Undergraduate - 25000*65000 = #1,625,000,000 Pre-degree - 2000*50000 =#100,000,000 Post-graduate - 500*100000 = #50,000,000 Total = #1,625,000,000 + #100,000,000 + #50,000,000 = #1,775,000,000 i.e one billion, seven hundred and seventy five million, So please, I will like u to tell me why ur skul shouldn't b able to pay her staff salary. Even if u truly have 114 professors which I doubt, cos a lot of sabbatical profs will surely b among those u av counted n to b sure, u can check d number of inaugural lectures ur skul has had. |
emmasege:https://www.students.com.ng/osun-state-university-matriculates-2750-students-20162017-36408-2/ that's d highest dey have matriculated, so if u multiply dat by even 5, though dey run mostly 4years courses. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/03/51-students-bag-first-class-in-uniosun/ that's a link to show u d number of students dey convocated n dis years was abt 1600. So if u calculations well, u will see dat I was right. |
The difference between him n Fayose is dat while dey are both controversial, Aregbe has developed his state in a way it has never witnessed b4. Apart from sentiments, wat he has done in roads n education can only b defeated by lagos n perhaps Ogun in d south-west. |
So? |
Sirhethat12:Saidat, perhaps it will b good if u can educate me a little by analysing d difference between d two, u can help me with d difference in their income n expenditure. It's just like making justification for a state like Bayelsa dat is about d 6th highest paid state bt is owing salary n saying it's so because it has to pay spend to construct roads cos of its topography while a state like Gombe is nt owing n u r now saying it's because it's cheaper to construct Road there, nobody will listen to u my dear. |
The reason why the skul will remain lock is because the Osun State government believes that since Osun State university with less than 10,000 is sustaining itself den lautech with about 25,000 students n abt a thousand Postgraduate students should also sustain itself. Unless dey can convince the government otherwise den there may b no end to d crisis soon. |
Sirhethat12:my sister all am saying is if u multiply wat u guys pay against d total number of students, den ur skul should b self sustainable. Uniosun n Akungba don't have ur number n yet dey can sustain themselves. Universities all over d world are not suppose to b burden to d state, rather they are to provide solutions n build human resources to manage our natural resources n dats why u pay skul fees. So wat u should b asking is wat is ur skul doing with ur skul fees, d grants dey receive, except dey are giving it to d state governments |
The question to ask is why is Osun State university with lower number of students not having funding issues? The problem with dis skuls is dat, dey generate revenue but still expect government to fully fund dem, but d day d government decide to check their books, den dey gather all their unions n start fighting d government n start misleading d public, bt since we av not been having good government in d past, we d public too will b quick to b on their side. Meanwhile Ondo state university is one of d cheapest n still it can sustain itself. |
