@vickilafab
Lol...u just painted the picture of my Lil babe when taking any other thing apart from pap! So I understand.
But I learnt that consistency is key like okirewaju said. My son was like that too with cereal...but with time after blending fruits with it, it became his best meal till he outgrew it.

super moms and dads of this thread, I don com again ooooooo! just as I started celebrating his acceptance of cereals, my LO has been refusing cereals, purées, ('adult' food- wch he used to like). he's 7 months plus. av been force feeding him wt d cereal bt am exhausted embarassed and can't continue on dat path. he only takes water and breesstmilk voluntarily. i dont want him to lose weight. pls help me out.

Alternatively if there's anyone that can help you feed him, it might help. Cos somtym, as long as they smell breastmilk they can be 'stubborn ' and not accept other food. Or u put your LO away from you i.e. facing you when feeding. Best of Luck!

A friend of mine serviced his 1997/1998/1999 toyota camry(don't really know exact year) with mobil 1 0w40 recently though I advised him 2 get mobil 1 5w30. He said he couldn't get d advised oil weights and so settled for 0w40. I like 2know if he's safe with that particular choice. Any drawbacks from using mobil 1 0w40 for his car? Anyone cares 2shed light on this Thanks

Hello gurus...Please attend to this question. I want to know if there's any implication.

Romance / Re: I Quit My Marriage For My Boyfriend by shadows1: 11:43am On Apr 01, 2011
[I got married six years ago to a man I never really liked from the beginning. I agreed to marry him because I was under intense pressure from my family members to marry]  not setting ur priorities rightly. u probably forgot that ur parents wont live with whomever u choose to marry whether there's love or not.

[She gave me a number and when I called, it turned out to be him.]  really u shldn't hv called him. cos u were awakening a probably forgone emotions.

[I told him about my marriage and son. He told me not to worry that he would marry me when he comes back]   it's almost impossible to see a man willing to ruin another man's home, needless to say u hv kids. u shld hv known better than to expect him to be committed to u.

[I left my 10 months old twins, their elder brother and husband to follow my boyfriend] haba sis', u r HEARTLESS!

[I discovered too late that I loved my husband]  i sincerely dnt buy that at all, that's just a cheap way of trying to win ur husband's heart back.

In as much as i feel ur trauma (as in marrying whom u dnt hv any form of attraction for n loving him seems impossible), i feel u hv been very careless in ur decisions. In my opinion, even if living together has been sour n seems irrepairable, u could hv resolved to other measures that both parties will understand. Ur ex shld really neva hv been an option to consider irrespective of hw much u lov him! it'll neva wrk out.
Romance / Re: One-sided Love In Marriage/relationship by shadows1: 5:22pm On Mar 31, 2011
really long sighhhhhhhh, i think a lot of young adults of 'marriageable' age need to set our priorities right, hv a mind of our own, stand firm on those set priorities not givin in to pressure, hv self esteem (n some kinda pride - for those dating for money/material things), look only unto God,
Romance / One-sided Love In Marriage/relationship by shadows1: 1:01pm On Mar 31, 2011
In recent times, av seen pple rush into marriage either cos of pressure/age/just wanting to attain that status or other personal reasons. Their priorities are not properly defined, they end up settling for wat they dnt really desire/want. Some are so confused, they dont even know hw they end up with their spouses.
Listening to some pple's experience, they recount hw they were advised that being patient/tolerant is a good virtue evryone especially a woman must hv to make a good wife. Such advice make them take so much, till they get married and at some point, just cant take it anymore.

This is becoming a growing trend in most marriages, where a spouse is merely enduring or tolerating the other, and one is unfortunately busy loving the other. I know a particular couple where the husband is really trying so hard to make the wife hapi at least in his own way (not without the wife noticing though), but it has become so bad that to the wife, even the 'kindest' gesture from the husband is annoying/unacceptable or just goes unappreciated.

In your opinion, wat do u think is responsible for one-sided love, and also suggest ways to avoid landing in such situation and/or ways to manage such marriage.
