Yes. Go with your WAEC result checker PIN. There will use that to verify the result online since you don't certificate. But if your certificate is due, you may be not be granted that.
Thanks

Anyone here to help provide that?

Enesth:
Yes you can use that. I used only my waec result for verification
What I mean is an Online printout and not a Waec certificate.

1.) You are only allowed to register a certain maximum credit unit for a semester, 24 credit units (applicable) for Undergraduate

2.) E stands for ELECTIVE

C stands for CORE/COMPULSORY - a course you must take and pass at a particular level of study.
Wow, thanks for this information.

One more thing, for MSc information technology, how many credits for a semesters?
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by shady45(m): 9:36am On Nov 09, 2020
Hello guys.

Please I need quick answer.

1. I saw both first and second semester courses on the course registration page. Can one pay and register for both?

2. I saw status of either E or C on each of the courses. Please what does that mean?
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by shady45(m): 9:55am On Nov 02, 2020
Samisha500:
Yes you will.

Each TMA do last about 3 weeks

if TMA1 starts now it will be available for about 3 weeks and you can do it anytime within the stipulated period, even if you register on the last day, TMA1 will be available for you to take.

Once TMA1 closes, you cant have access to it, you just have to patiently wait for the commencement of TMA2.

When you miss one out of three (TMA1, TMA2 & TMA3) TMAs, usually the result is ''Incomplete Result'' because two TMAs cannot be recorded for you.
Okay. Thank you a lot. I am actually a new student and just gained my admission to MSc. Some of these NOUN terms are new.

PREDICTION ON TUTOR MARKED ASSIGNMENT (TMA)

I hereby inform you that TMA which serve as a test in NOUN is likely to be available anytime soon on the portal for students who have registered for 2020_2 as from 5th November, 2020. Don't be surprised because anything can happen this semester as it is obviously gonna be the shortest semester in history.

I therefore advise everyone to tighten their belt and gather their strength in ensuring the mistakes of 2020_1 are not repeated in 2020_2. In other for you to score A in your exam, your success starts with your TMA as in scoring 30/30 is the road to excellence. In 2020_1 POP, TMA result rubbished some student's effort to score A or B in their exam.

I will bring you more updates soon. Have a blissful night rest. Happy New Month smiley

Bro, you said for those who have already registered, tma will be available for them.

What about those who are yet to register courses after 5th. Like me, i will likely register on the 8th. Will I still have access to the TMA?

1. I doubt. If there's need, you can always apply for change with evidence of State of Origin.
2. Next is to fund your wallet and start your registration. It entails putting money into your wallet through the E WALLET menu and generating an RRR.
Okay. Thanks very much. But please, hope there is no deadline for when you start the registration?

jakeroberto:
please how did you upload your credentials? I dont know if I am doing it right
I put all the credentials in MS Word as Jpeg (or any picture format). Saved the file as a Pdf instead of the normal docx.

NOTE:make sure while saving, in the windows dialog box. You check the place for minimal file for online viewing. This will make the pdf file size small.

Then upload it.

Thats all

Hi everyone.

My credentials have been verified online and I have gotten my matric number.
Please I have 2 issues:
1. While I was registering for student portal, I mistakenly put Lagos state as my state of origin instead of Delta. Will this give me a problem later on?

2. Now that I have logged in into my student portal, what is the next step? Because I am confused on what next?

1. Please where do I upload credentials for PG because it is not opening.

When I clicked 'newly admitted student:upload credentials' button, it opens a new page where I see the 'how to reduce pdf size'. No other link to upload credentials.

Please is anyone having same issues uploading credentials?
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by shady45(m): 12:40pm On Oct 24, 2020

Yes, you can submit a signed SOR in place of certificate. Some institutions don't even give certificates until after many years.
Thanks
