Please what happens to a student and dependant when they get a divorce in the UK? Will they lose their visas?

TLS sent me a mail for document pick up. But my dependant (wife) didn't get a mail. Although, I got two emails for pickup. Does it mean my dependant's own too is ready. Note the two mails I received had the same reference number.

Yes, you can stay after graduate for 2 years for work. After which, you get a sponsored work visa from your place of work if they do so.

Hello guys,

Please does my wife need to have her name changed to my surname on her passport before we can apply for her as a dependant? Her current passport has her own name.

We just did the newspaper publication and affidavit for change of name, and national ID.

Why I asked this is because, the time taken to have a change of name on her passport is too long and we are getting close to visa application date.

I used Ecobank. It took approximately 1wk 3days.

But thats not the whole story.

Before I decided to use them. I called the manager of a certain ecobank branch to inquire if it will work. He directly me to used a particular branch and I should notify him once I'm through that he knows the person in charge of fx in that branch. I did and my status went from Adb_Reviewer to Supervisor approval in under 2hours

That's good. In all, it is about knowing someone. It's just painful that one has to go through this when ever Nigeria is concerned. You took an intelligent step. Thanks for this information.

They will use the information you provided in the student details section and not the information on the BVN. For example I paid my deposit using my brother account and the BVN had his name but I fill in my name as the student details

It took 2 weeks for my money to get deducted but that was only possible when I went to the bank to let them know that ADB supervisor needs to approve it. Before someone there in the bank who is the ADB supervisor, did it. But you will have to work with your account officer to get things started. For Telex, I have not gotten it because they have not processed payment. Today will make it 1 month and 2 days since I initiated this whole process.
If I had another alternative, I would use it.

What is the status on the cbn portal? And have the money been deducted from your available balance? Mine has been taken from available bal to book balance.

Concerning the form A, GTBank says there is no fx at the moment. I have a friend who used Access bank for her form A, she said so too.

What are your banks telling you at the moment?
