As far as I am concerned they have failed and have nothing to offer.

But they promise that palliative will be ready by August, and the Legislative can amend the minimum wage law. The govt just dont care for the masses

It doesn't work that way bro, there is a statutory law that mandates the review of MW after every 4 years, the next review is set to take place by next year, the highest labour Congress can do now is to push for a palliative now, while waiting for the Government by next year when talks for the NMW will begin,so I think they are being careful not to go against the law.

Madam, nobody start civil service with level 1. Its level 3. Some agencies start with level 4.stop arguing on something you dont know about.

Just because you've never come across someone in grade level 1 doesn't me there aren't there. The civil service scheme has it, so that's what I'm following. If you had read my write up very well, I didn't say other levels salary were going to be doubled, I said there will be increment.

The state governors might agree with fg to double the minimum wage, but i doubt if they can afford to pay more than 40k. Those governors are something else.

Tinubu may want it double, triple but there are huddles; the state governors some of whom are yet to fully implement the 30k minimum wage as well as private companies. To be realistic we should be expecting something like 45-50k new minimum wage. All the talks of 200k wage is a joke .

Its not like that. Secondary school leavers start on level 3, diploma 5. So no officer start with level 1 . On the issue of doubling other pples salary, it doesnt work like that also, the govt will fix a percentage increase from level 7 to 15. Imagine a director earning 500k and u want to double his salary. The highest he can get will be 20 to 30percent.

There are govt staff that are in grade level 1, they are school cert/ OND holders. From grade level 1 - 5 are junior staff, so the least salary of someone in grade level 1 step 1 will be 60k.
That doesn't mean the salary will be doubled for every other level ok, it only means there will be increment in all salaries of govt staff.

The propose salary is true but its taking much time to come to reality but the entry level is not up to 140k. Its 110k.

140k plus for Level 8 step 2. No other remunerations just salary salary and more salaries but their proposal for increment is equivalent to NNPC benefits package. I don’t know who advised them to propose such figures anyways.
