Hi everyone. I need your help so I'm going to keep it short.
I started my PR journey in 2019 and got AOR in March 2021, I added my spouse later in the year and didn't get a feedback from ircc, I got tired of the entire silence from ircc and opted for UK study visa.

I got a mail from ircc regarding addition of spouse few days before leaving Nigeria, my husband and I are presently in the UK but I'll like to continue with the process. He has done his medicals since last year but didn't do his police report.

We do not have the finances too as we spent more on this UK route, is there a way to go around it? Are we going to need additional POF for unnaccompany spouse?
The mail pointed that there is no need to pay for application fee and one other fee for him if he isn't coming to Canada yet.

I just want to see if I can get the PPR first and add him later on, since we do not have the finances to proceed.

I have gotten an offer in CIP card company as a sales consultant, I don't know if you know about the company. The downside is that the job is commission based, no fixed salary.

If you are looking to explore s career in IT you should look into watching A+ and s+ videos and think getting the knowledge. As knowledge and experience is valued more than the cert.

Your BCS cert, what were the learning points/objectives

Thank you. I did the BCS to add points to my Canada pr journey which I later opted out from. I've never paid attention to what the practical aspect of the certificate is about. I'll do that now.

If you haven't done so already, try downgrading your CV for the retail jobs. Indeed has a lot of listings. Create an account and activate notifications

Thank you. I have created an account since, I get notifications about new jobs too but most are full time permanent ones.
Its difficult getting into care jobs too because I have no experience and driver's license.

I have been in Sunderland for a little over two weeks now and I have applied to over 40 jobs all to no avail. I don't know what to do anymore, I have done few interviews and it seems they are all looking for a full time work.

I have experience in sales and I've been applying for jobs as sales assistant, retail assistant etc.

I have a Certificate in IT(British Computer Society), I don't have any work experience in IT so I haven't been applying for jobs related to it.

What do I do? It's really getting to me.

Secondly, for people that traveled from lagos Airport, can I get winter jacket around there? I don't live in lagos and my flight is by evening so I'm gonna arrive lagos same day. How much should I budget for that too? Thanks so much.

I have a dilema everyone. My husband and I have gotten our uk student visa and will be traveling soon, but we will like to continue with the Canadian PP. I mailed ircc and raised a webform in November 2021 to add him as my dependent, I just got a reply to the mail and webform today 24th of February. We saw the decline in PPRs and decided to try out UK study visa.
He has done his medicals since last year November, he will do his PCC as well.
What's the best way to arrange the POF? I have 4 million in my account for one person, and we want the rest of the POF to be in his account. How much should be put there?

My husband has been tracking his application since two days now when the paid mail we got said that decision has been made. The application finally got transferred to VAC around 11am today, it is night already and the application hasn't been received by VAC. Is this something to worry about?
Is there a likelihood that the application will be received by VAC tomorrow which happens to be a weekend?

Good day House, I’m trying to apply for PTA on the Trade System Website. Which is the appropriate option to select?
Tourism or Educational Service?
The PTA selection automatically selects Tourism and selecting the Educational service means you’ll have to enter a receiver Bank Details . Who has done this before should please help me out. EDAKUN

I haven't applied for PTA but I have applied for Form A using the platform.
You will select Educational services, since that is what you need it for. Then the receiver account will be the account details of the personal bank you want to process it at. Example, if you have a GTBank account and you want the pounds to be received by same bank, you input your GTBank details. You can follow it up at GTBank and receive your money after the end of the process. Make sure you have funds enough to cover the transaction in your account as well.
You can wait for reviews from other people because I haven't started my PTA process yet.

This is what I did with my cousin,

The day it was moved to VAC I checked online on DHL site I saw that it left for PH around 7pm and the next morning I saw that it left PH around 4am the did say to where. So I called their office in the state where my cousin stays and they said it is on the which was yesterday. Meanwhile the expected arrival time was Monday. So I asked my cousin to go their office around 4pm and ask them. The told her that they were still on their way and confirm to her that it must arrive their office yesterday evening and then will now sort it out for dispatch against Monday. I told her to wait for it to arrive she was there till 6pm yesterday when it arrived and she signed it.

My suggestion go with valid id to their office it is probably there. You have done that first thing this morning but go there and don't wait for them.

I did same with them for my bro 2 years ago. So go there unless they don't have office in your city or maybe you are at work and can't go there in person.

Thanks so much. I just got a call from their office now and they will do a door-step delivery today.

That was what they wanted to do to me. I copied their MD and customer manager mail twice in one day to complian bitterly. They took up my case and I received it within hours.

Go to complain straight to the top on the DHL tracker and log your complain.

My visa have been approved since Wednesday and my passport sent via DHL, till now I haven't gotten it. I tracked it and it's still nowhere near my address. The estimated time of delivery on their site is Monday. Is this normal? I thought it should be a second day delivery.

My application just moved to VAC today as well, I haven't received visa alert tho. I applied for priority as main applicant and my dependent is still at DMC. You're not alone. I'm hoping for the best

I got a response to my paid mail just now, and it says decision has been made on my application but my dependent application is still pending. What does this mean please?

Pls go there, and if you used a courier service then track it with your tracking number. I know someone that his application is still at dmc but he tracked with DHL and realized the passport is on transit.

Sent a mail to my bank on Friday to know if ukvi had made inquired I was told no inquire yet.

Moved to vac 7th feb for both applicants

Collection mail 7th feb for both applicants

Pickup 7th feb dependant while that of main applicant is on route Lagos via dhl.

Documents submitted
Main; Transcript, degree cert, English proficiency, CAS, pof, marriage cert, TB cert, passport
Dependant; my CAS, pof, marriage certificate, affidavit of charge of name, newspaper publication, whatsapp chats and TB cert.
