Good day. If I may ask what bank? Also you can visit other branches to get an ATM card. Because all references states the date the account was opened

I need your help people! I am filling my PRE-CAS questionnaire, but I've been stuck on how to answer a part of it without complicating things.
The question asked about who my sponsor is, their annual income and if I opened a new bank account just for the purpose of the visa.

Truthfully, I opened a new account last month for the purpose of the POF.

As it is now, it's either I get a bank reference letter or get an ATM card from the bank to further prove to the school that the account is active. (these are required to get the CAS).

I was at the bank earlier and I was told their machine has a problem and it will not be able to print my name on the card. This is bad news because I need my name as a form of identity. I am now stuck with getting a reference letter which will show that the account was opened last month(I funded it with the POF two days later)

How do I go about defending my need of opening a new bank account specifically for the purpose of the visa?

Yes. But they will ask you to provide a English proficiency letter from your institution after you get an offer.

Best advise!!! Another one for those that will be working especially Night shifts. Please don't go and do night shift when you are having lectures the next morning around 8 or 9 even 10.

Sometimes those night shifts don't end in early. You can miss lectures sometimes buses might not come early. You might feel it's online classes you can meet up and turn off your camera. You might end up meeting an empty class.

Yes you need all the money but your classes are importier.lols abeg.

About this work, since it's 20 hours per week, can I choose to work like 2 days a week? Like 10 hours per day and use the rest of the week for study.

I don't think it's fixed. Some people got it cheaper, and it could be more for some others. I know someone that got deducted 556 to one pounds using same Globus Bank.
Just have excess money in case they wanna sell at high exchange rate

It's not cash, you click on telex. I was unable to successfully upload the documents using my phone. So I sent the files to someone and it successfully uploaded using a laptop.

I successfully applied for the online Form A, using Globus Bank. I got debited the second day which was Friday last week. Till now I haven't received telex.
Does it take this long to generate telex? I intend going to the bank branch to complain

I tried calling the phone lines listed on their website in case there's any problem. It just keeps ringing, they're not picking up the phone. Is there any way around this?

Go to your bank and change your BVN email address. It should reflect on Cbn database in 24 hours. Then you get your OTP through the mail you have access to.

I sent a mail to IOM yesterday to fast track my appointment and move my location to lagos.
Good enough, I got a mail at 6pm that my appointment date is tomorrow 14th of December by 10am.
I live almost 7 hours from lagos(traffic), there's no way I'll be able to make it for tomorrow, there's no notice time at all.
Can I go there on Wednesday with my appointment letter stating why I couldn't make it for Tuesday

What a big dilemma

I got an admission to study MBA/Pgcert. It's a two year program. What I read on Google is that MBA is really productive in the UK, I'm surprised that it's a different opinion here

It is true that you have to pay your remaining fees before enrollment. I also got an offer from them and York st. John University but due to their payment plan I had to go for Cardiff metropolitan University

I got my condition offer letter from them eventually, and it states that I have to pay 50% at enrollment, not the whole tuition.

Is there anyone presently a student in the university of Sunderland? Or a prospective student.
I got a conditional offer from the school and it says I have to pay a tuition deposit of 3500 pounds before I can get a CAS. I was on their finance website today and realized that the full tuition fee has to be paid during student enrollment.
Is this true? Because I met few people that said I am only required to pay up to 50% of the tuition during my enrollment and I can spread the remaining balance later.
I want to confirm because I intend to pay the tuition deposit tomorrow.
The school hasnt sent me an official unconditional offer letter too. I was able to see the offer in my student portal.

It’s automatically linked to the email you use for your bank alerts. I’d suggest you sign into the email or reset the pw if you don’t remember it.

It's funny because the only email that is actively involved in my bank accounts is still very well in use. I get my bank alerts and other notices through the mail. I don't understand this one.
This fault has to be on the banks then, cos I don't use this yahoo mail CBN is requesting anymore, neither is it linked to my accounts as far as I know.
