Politics › Re: Third APC Group Emerges by shamson: 5:54pm On Mar 15, 2013
eldoradoxx: What do you know about politics? I ve always said in this forum that politics should be left for PDP. Our great party is good at it, we are master strategists in political chess board, APC can only make noise, PDP doesn't make noise at all. It acts and when it moves the opposition shudders. Ordinary name is something Buhari and Tinubu cannot secure conveniently and people are talking of winning 2015. My oga on top no go gree oh lol. Next line after this is to deploy PDP members to join APC's camp and distabilise them internally with huge money. Its all politcs, if u are a priest or imam, better leave politics for people who can do the battle. Stop complaining of the morality of PDP's actions
But, is this politics or rubbish from number one citizen
Politics › Re: African People's Congress Unveils Logo by shamson: 8:48pm On Mar 14, 2013
I just wonder what the president and his people want to turn this country to, all because he want to remain in power, he turn all machinery of government to infective lying tool.First,it was the creation of Boko Haram to dislodge the northern muslim and christain.second, the discredit of OBJ and all is supporters to win PDP and all her machinery.
And now, the big fight to dismantle the formation of formidable opposition.I am sure, he can not escape from being consumed by one
Car Talk › Re: Governor Akpabio Buys Bullet-Proof Mercedes-Benz Vans - PICTURES by shamson: 4:28pm On Mar 13, 2013
djustice: Obviously, this is a thinking Governor. Observe how this is actually a BUS, unlike the bullet-proof SUV (Range Rover) that Fashola bought for himself and Tinubu last year. I remember Fashola's publicity stunt at the Lekki Prison Gate, paying tolls by leaning out of his self-driven Range Rover. That was one of 4 cars he bought for himself and Tinubu.

Akpabio has worked, and he should enjoy the perks of office. At least, it's not a personal car. It's an official bus, meaning he wants to protect other government functionaries apart from himself. In Lagos, dem no send. The range rovers are for the houseboyish governor and his master at Bourdillon.
What a thievery analogy grin grin grin

Goshen360: The reason is men have refused to interpret scriptures with scriptures which amounts to God's way of 'literal' bible interpretation. I hope to do an intensive course\thread on bible interpretation if I have the time to. God's word doesn't contradict; it compliments. Genesis must agree with Matthew and Luke must agree with Revelation.
That is a big problem the bible have not been able to solve instead holy spirit within individual have always been to the rescue to fill the gap and providing answers to double standard fact written in the bible

21% of the budget to be finance from borrowing and four billion to be spent on unconstitutional first lady project, with all the bogus salaries and allowances of the ruling class.Something is definitely wrong somewhere.
if about 591 billion is to be use in servicing debt,
where is the future in this.

Frostyzone: I don't in any way support extremism, and the principal's callous actions warrant a jail sentence, at least.

But going through these thread and reading the hypocritical comments of our Muslims citizens made me to remember something.

If such thing had happened in the north, the girl would be in the morgue and the principal would be going about her daily business as if nothing happened.

So please spare some of us your holier than thou attitudes and chalk it up as "one of those things".

It's not you against the world as you would make the uninformed believe.
If you don't have something nice to say is advice you keep shut and stop supporting the wicked. And remember, this is south west and not the North or South/south or south east.
Islam › Re: 12-year-old Caned For Wearing Hijab Out Of Class by shamson: 12:25pm On Feb 23, 2013
toba: Nigeria is not a one religion state. I cant carry my bible everywhere in order to prove to Muslims im a christian. There're rules in everywhere. Back then in school we were compelled to wear brown belt, cut our air to low level, not to put on face caps and ladies must wear beret.

Authorities wants uniformity and no prefential treatment. caning is bad but there must be obedience for the rules
So the authority rules is superior to God's command? Check this out

New International Version (©1984)
If a woman does not cover her head,
she should have her hair cut off; and
if it is a disgrace for a woman to
have her hair cut or shaved off, she
should cover her head.

New Living Translation (©2007)
Yes, if she refuses to wear a head
covering, she should cut off all her
hair! But since it is shameful for a
woman to have her hair cut or her
head shaved, she should wear a
covering.

English Standard Version (©2001)
For if a wife will not cover her head,
then she should cut her hair short.
But since it is disgraceful for a wife
to cut off her hair or shave her
head, let her cover her head.

New American Standard Bible
(©1995)
For if a woman does not cover her
head, let her also have her hair cut
off; but if it is disgraceful for a
woman to have her hair cut off or
her head shaved, let her cover her
head.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
(©2009)
So if a woman's head is not covered,
her hair should be cut off. But if it is
disgraceful for a woman to have her
hair cut off or her head shaved, she
should be covered.

International Standard Version
(©2012)
So if a woman does not cover her
head, she should cut off her hair. If
it is a disgrace for a woman to cut
off her hair or shave her head, let
her cover her own head.
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
For if the woman be not covered, let
her also be shorn: but if it be a
shame for a woman to be shorn or
shaven, let her be covered.

Reason why they created Boko Haram to dislodge the north and create enmity between muslim and christian in that region to have northern christian sympathy.

Enough of this analysis by PDP government. If they have anything good to do, they should better do it and stop telling nigerian story everyday.
The decadence do not start over night, they have seated at the elms of affair for sometimes now and instead of finding solution, they kept on telling nigerian the extent of damage that successive government have cursed, are those that formed the government not part of PDP? big question, big question indeed, I wish all nigeria will see through their noise and understand that the line between poverty and our success is PDP

Business › Re: Reduction Of Company Registration Fees Approved By FG by shamson: 5:08pm On Feb 12, 2013
[quote author=edo.girl]Rubbish. Why cut fees for foreign investors, while only last week or so, the same government increased the cost of registering a limited liability company at the CAC . You reduce for foreigners who don't need the reduction only to increase for long suffering locals?

At the end of the day, it is small businesses established by ordinary Mr Chinedu and Mummy Junior that will create the jobs that we need, not mostly fake foreign 'investors' who come with empty pockets but are able to obtain big loans from local banks 'cos they are Oyinbo.

Surely, a genuine foreign investor with millions of dollars (supposedly) in his 'back pocket' will care less about a reduction in fees equivalent to just USD 250.

As things stand today, it will cost me less than £20 (N5000) to register a company in the UK, but registering an equivalent company in Nigeria will cost at least 6 times that amount due to GEJ government's latest increase.

To encourage entrepreneurship, Government must get out of people's way and cut down on needless barriers and costs. The cost of registering a company should be cut down to N10K or less.

Confused Government.
