Yungwhy:
Y'all stop bothering yourselves, she won't marry Jon Snow, or Maybe Probably not

Emilia Clarke just hinted that Daenerys might end up with a man who isn’t Jon Snow and I’m livid

Okay, yes: Daenerys Targaryen is definitely Jon Snow’s aunt in the Game of Thrones universe (unbeknownst to both of them). Therefore, it is definitely somewhat pro-incest for us as fans to root for their hookup.
Then again: WHATEVER. This is Game of Thrones , where we’ve all weirdly adjusted to Jaime and Cersei’s unsettling love affair. Incest is not off-limits for the show’s main characters — particularly when they are both young and incredibly good-looking.
The bottom line is that many people are on the edge of their seats, waiting for Jon and Daenerys to get busy (or at least to more than make eyes at one another). However, the real Daenerys, AKA actress Emilia Clarke, may have just squashed all of our hopes and dreams in regards to Dany’s romantic prospects.
During a behind-the-scenes cast commentary segment, Clarke discussed the moment when Jon, Daenerys and Ser Jorah’s worlds simultaneously collided.
According to Clarke, Jorah is “The one” as far as Daenerys is concerned.
“The thing about Ser Jorah is that he has been the one from the very beginning,” Clarke says. “I think he has an ability to see right through her.”
While this comment initially made me want to throw my laptop out the window, I do understand that, sure, Daenerys and Jorah have a powerful connection. That said … I have no interest in anything romantic happening between these characters.
In terms of the show’s more recent narrative, Jorah often comes across as an overzealous fanboy (despite his nobility). Jon Snow, however, is a man who doesn’t immediately buckle to Daenerys’ attractiveness, and isn’t afraid to voice his disagreements around her. Just like Dany, he is a ruling force to be reckoned with — which (seemingly) makes the two of them a much more suitable match.
That said, Clarke also went on to downplay Dany’s interactions with Jon Snow. “Busted! Me and Jon Snow just chillin’ on a cliff by ourselves,” she added. “Don’t read into it.”
Don’t read into it? Hopefully Clarke is just attempting to throw us off the scent of Dany’s (extremely obvious) feelings for Jon Snow. Otherwise, I fear for my laptop’s safety (because, as mentioned above, I will be forced to chuck it out the window).

You are too behind in the show. That was said to throw people off after episode 5. The director basically confirmed that Jon snow and dany romance is certain. https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.thedailybeast.com/game-of-thrones-director-on-jon-snow-and-dany-incest-is-coming&sa=U&ved=0ahUKEwj2i6304PXVAhUFKVAKHS4YCdUQFggMMAU&usg=AFQjCNH6UeADH3Mwr-ZzmihFeXUceHOKdQ

I guess this was the prophecy he was talking about. I can't remember if this was shown in the books........
Dany is then told that she must light three fires, for life, for death, and to love; she must ride three mounts, one to bed, one to dread and one to love; and that she'll know three treasons, one for blood, one for gold and one for love.

Ksslib:
Technically speaking, Jon died. wink

But joking apart, a part of me is verrrrry sure he is going to die. I just have this strong feeling.

Concerning the prophecy; who gave it? I can't seem to remember watching anything about that part.
Even I don't know this prophecy

Gwaihir:
I have been following the recurring pattern in the series, if you pay attention you will see.

The prophecy said Dany will marry three men, one to dread, one to duty and one for love and all three will die. Plus its GOT, there is never going to be a happy ending.

But in a year or two, we see if I was wrong.
Guy where you get this theory from. I've never heard it both in the show or the books
P.S you could be right but just point me to it

GMan650:
Out of boredom and waiting for the release of episode 7, I started reading the book yesterday and it seemed to have refreshed my memory of how things panned out in Season 1.

- Cersei is such a b**ch, she deserves the most cruel death that might come her way. Imagine, until yesterday I've started admiring her systematic way of planning events. I even felt pity cos of the death of her 3children, a weak dude I was. Her evil ways caused the death of those innocent children(bar Joffrey). I seem to have forgotten the evil things she had done in the past but I remember now *Spits on her sagged breast and her blood savaged cunt*

- Robert! Robert!! My niccur..... this drunkard of a king lacked wits and attributes of a king. The only royal attribute he had was 'merry making & fighting skills'; the latter which dwindled as he grew fatter. He was so stupid not to notice how the Lannisters outwitted him while he was still king. He didn't even have a trusted ally in King's Landing except Jon Arryn, the only dude he trusted in the world except Arryn was Ned(who was thousand kms away) and they hadn't seen in 15yrs or so. So dumb of a king......... but I liked him anyway(I still don't know why)

- Lord Eddard Stark: So much honesty, honour, class etc. Dude didn't know politics(politricks) involved being smart and diplomatic, he was too straightforward......... his beheading made me love GOT tho, it got me interested in the series. Starks are dumb

- Arya and Sansa: I've seen men and women rip themselves over this two on this forum, even though I've always been on the Arya side but with my refreshed memories, I think we've been a lil harsh on Sansa atimes. Both have made stupid and dumb decisions at one point or the other along the line but we tend to focus more on Sansa cos Arya is at least yearning/preparing to kill her family's enemies. Both of them gat different behaviours, Arya is the tomboy kinda gurl and Sansa the sissie kinda gurl so I don't think we're right to abuse someone cos of their ambitions. I reiterate, both had made stupid decisions along the line which kinda made my assertion somehow true that 'Starks are dumb'(u might wanna argue Robb was smart, but remember he was killed like a chicken in a banquet-hall and not on a battlefield)

- Lord Varys: This guy is the most dicey man on this show, we don't even know who he's supporting. He saved Dany and Viserys(when they were young) yet he made Ser Jorah track them in the Free Cities, he also supported their assassination when Robert's small council sat over the issue. This same eunuch went back to Dany to help her claim on the Iron throne and now he has started having doubts over her, I'm pretty sure he'll cross sides when he learns Jon(Aegon) also has a legitimate claim to the throne.

Jon Snow: My man! Dude has seen it all and he's still standing, peeps might say he knows nothing but they're all 'children of the summer', even the Night King is always startled by his presence. All hail Jon Snow, the nightmare of the dead, the pain in the Night King's butt. I'm afraid the show runners might kill him in the end but I'm sure he'd have lived his purpose.

Death is the enemy. The first enemy and the last. The enemy always wins, and we still need to fight him.

Lord of light, cast your light upon us for the night is dark and full of terrors.
Nobody will argue with you that Robb was start. The guy was definition of dumb.He was my best character before his death but his mistakes were too much

In as much as your write up is interesting, i would not still hesitate to tell u that u exaggerated a lot of things. There is no way u would watch season 1 to season 7; over 65hrs in a week. No matter how you love movies. It is impossible.
I know you would write up some things to defend these exaggerations which i think you are good at. There are so many factors that wont allow you to watch everything in a week such as PHCN, boredom, hunger, sleep, jobs etc except you dont have a job. My take although, i wont be surprise if you start bashing me here but bring it on.
He clearly said he finished it in two weeks. How is that not possible

. How is how I choose to analyse characters any of your business? Are you the one watching the show for me? There are many characters in GOT, which Arya & Sansa happen to be one of. This means I am at liberty to talk about all of them with a subjective point of view whenever any of these characters are in focus. If you are not happy with that, I want you to ram your head continuously on a very thick block of ice until your skull cracks open for easy penetration of common sense. Emotional dic.khead who doesn't know how to pass his point like an adult.

If everything you write is just how you analyze characters then what is the point of writing. You make no argument for what you write so why will anyone take you serious. You just build up a character you like and disregard the ones you do not like just like that

That scene where Lord Bailish was trying to sound smart as usual with his philosophical bullshit.

Then Brann looks at him, "Chaos is a ladder".

The look on his face was priceless. I loved that scene like mad. I kept replaying it.

I also have this feeling that Sansa will die soon. The future looks bleak for her character. The only thing keeping her relevant for the moment is Jon's absence as the king of the north. Someone has to fill in that vital position. Who better, than the dumb sister who will probably give Bailish more relevance on the show with one single act of stupidity (whether it was intentional or not).

Arya, on the other hand, still has a big role to play in the scheme of events. Not every name on her list has been ticked. There's still a bright future for her character. She has really gone through alot and defied all the odds to become who she has become. List or no list, Arya is a strong character. There's this intrigue about her that makes you keep asking - what is she about to do next? what is Arya thinking? What's going through her mind? You know it's definitely going to be interesting but you don't just know how and when.

That scene where she impersonated Waldo Frey and poisoned all his Bloodline. Epiiiiiiiiicccccccc. cheesy

Right from Episode 1 season 1, I knew she was special. How she grew over the years from a stubborn little daddy's girl who, right from childhood, knew who she was and wanted to become, then later transformed gradually, bit by bit into an even a more lethal version of everything she ever wanted to become, is simply amazing.

Now, that's a story. That's how you develop a character. Though, in Sansa's defence, her character too has developed tremendously over the years. I noticed her hair is now longer. grin

Vola magulis.
Sansa haters are too delusional
So what did you achieve with this post.
Everyone here knows what happened in the last episode.we all saw the nonsense arya was telling sansa. She actually told her that she will die before she serves the lannisters when we all remember when she served tywin lannister. At one point she was promised 3 kills but she couldn't call any lannister name.
Sansa has clearly had more development than arya and that showed in the last episode.
People like you just have start argument between sansa and arya baselessly
Watch the show with an open mind or STFU

So, he should be carrying his wolf up and down? That's more logical to you?
Of course it is logical. Jon snow used to go everywhere with his his direwolf.Even Robb stark's direwolf used to be with him all the time. Budget is the problem. They don't have the budget to show dragon battles and direwolf at once, so the chose the more important

It's almost like the show runners expect the audience to not be autists about fucking travel times.

GRRM is on record admitting the size of westeros doesn't make any sense as written. The travel times regularly are off in the novels too.

Only speculation. My point is - D& D handled the whole thing so poorly, when fans asked why, they defended themselves by saying GrrM planned for it to happen. They shifted the blame. They didn't need to do that.
He planned for it to happen - you've said it yourself. They can't wait for the books again they are already past the books so things that are planned to happen in the book might happen in the show in no exact manner

Distance from Dragonstone to the Wall 2500km ?
If even this is accurate why does Jon think he'll last so long till Dany arrives ? What, they were expecting to find a small island in the middle of a lake ? All too convenient.

This reminds me of when D& D kill off Shireen, and had to use GrrM to defend themselves. It's just lazy.
Maybe the show writers will say "just as planned" after they see your post.
You are getting it all wrong about shireen. She's yet to die in the books but it will definitely happen. It one of the three shocking things grrm told D &grin about the series
1 Shireen baratheon being burnt alive
2 Why Hodor can only say one word
3 Yet to be revealed

Ok guys I don't think the son between Jon and Daenaerys will be Azor Ahai.

Azor Ahai was Rhaegar, Lyanna was Nissa Nissa. They fulfilled the prophecy by her dying and out came out Jon, who is Lightbringer. As forshadowed by the oath he took in the Nights Watch, he is "the sword in the darkness,....the light that brings the dawn..."
Recall It took Azor Ahai 3 trys to forge light bringer, the last killing Nissa Nissa. Rhaegar had 3 children the last killing Lyanna. So it fits so perfectly.
This. Read it long ago and it fits perfectly

I remember posting some loopholes in episode 6 and was attacked.
Nobody is saying that there are no plotholes. This episode had a lot of things that did not make sense. I, myself continue to try and make explanations for it but most things are unexplainably.
But you've got to look it from their side. The show runners were never the best writers in the business. At the beginning they were not brought to write the story but to adapt it.They never knew that the show will come to pass the books. Its been 6 years since a book so the show runners have to get it to the end themselves.
We just have to be less critical of the show at this point.A lot of the things that happened in the episode can be explained if you look at it closely ( the uncle benjen death was very frustrating)
I personally think season 7 is one of the best seasons of the show if you are not watching just to point out plotholes, it is much better than season 5.Is it the most flawed, maybe and that why we come here to try and get some explanation. No matter how the writing gets bad Game of thrones will still be an exceptional piece of television.

So, You ignore the largest dragon which also happens to be carrying all the people you're trying to kill and go after the much smaller one flying above which obviously wasn't trying to get away? Yeah, that sounds totally reasonable.
The night king tried to take out drogon after killing viserion. It was logical if he had killed drogon first the other two would have flown away because they were already in the sky. By killing viserion first he increased his chances of taking out drogon since it was on the ground picking people
