Zodka: They give u 18months, to look for job..
But before u get your work permit, they must be sure no other German was available to take that job position..
And I think you have to have some amount of money in your account, before u can stay for that 18months. Do that mean that get a job and work permit is hard?? |

Zodka: The minimum is the 8k euros.. so u can fund than that..
If your money is legal.. I don't see any cause for negative consequences..
All your money will be block.. u will get access to about 800 per month still. But it a good thing because you won't need to fund the account again the next year. Is it possible for someone to work there in Germany and get the 8000 euros for the next year. And is it compulsory that you will put another 8000 in the block account the next year after you finish the first year. |

Please I have a question, if you finish your masters in Germany, will they give you time to stay or it's compulsory you go back to your country like in the UK |

pattosky008: Please house, I submitted my application by hand in Lagos on the 4th of this month. I was sent a confirmation of receipt mail that same day. On 6th I was sent another mail including my tracking ID. But up till now, whenever I check the status of my application I keep seeing "NO RECORDS FOUND". I've tried calling the vfs helpline but it doesn't go thru. I had to chat with one of their representatives after waiting for almost an hour and all he could say was it could be network issues. Please has anyone experienced this? How do I go about it? I submitted my application on the 28th of last month and when I check my status, it shows thesame thing too 'NO RECORD FOUND' I sent them a mail and this was their reply 'Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for writing to VFS Global Canada, Nigeria. Kindly be informed that your application is still under processing at the Deputy High Commission of Canada Please visit the link at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp to view the average processing time.' |

Innogee: Good day Gurus, Pls I need your assistance. I applied for student visa on 10th Feb, 2017 and I got a refusal today. I studied Elect \ Elect in HND 2005 with good working experience in Telecoms for 12yrs now. I applied to conestoga college to study wireless network infrastructure which is closely related to my course of study and my experience. Although, I have travelled to Ghana in 2009 but I dint include it in my application. Please, I need urgent advise on what next to do as a friend is advising me to try PR.
Reason for refusal : I am not satisfied that you would leave Canada after your study so visa refused on the basis of 1. Travel History 2. Purpose of visit 3. Personal asset and financial status. How much was in your statement of Acc and how much was your sch fees |

Austinpee4: Let me share this little tip that might help us when we are considering being admitted and eventually getting the study visa for canada.
Most schools will consider you undergraduate study and on few occasions work experience when applying for admission.
The embassy will consider your undergraduate, work experience and after study when reviewing your application. While the schools must be satisfied academically about your profile, the embassy must be satisfied about your choice of program in relation to demands from your current activity(ies)as well as effect of your proposed study on your current activity upon completion.
The straight forward it looks and appears, the better the chances.
Using myself as an example.
I studied system design engineering(Robotics) as undergraduate, been working as a network/ design engineer, i have relevant certifications as one, i'm going for a master in information technology optioning in network technology.
I didn't use any SOP to explain anything to the VO. I just believed my profile was straight forward enough because my current work experience is already in line with my intended.
So please guyz, so we minimize the rate of refusals, let our intended program always reflect what we are currently doing. Be it as a fresh graduate or with work experience.
Just thought to share this little stuff.
Undergraduate- civil engineering Working as a site engineer (2years) Going for graduate diploma safety and risk engineering This is inline right? |

Sharles: I got admission in march(graduate diploma in safety & risk Engr) MUN Newfoundland. I have applied for my visa 28th April. I got a mail from them on the 3rd of may that my application has be approved. Still waiting for their message for my medicals.
Documents submitted: admission letter, SOP, letter of consent and recommendation from my employer., degree cert., transcript, birth cert, SOA(contain 7.3mil) self sponsored.
My concern is that a friend of mine told that they don't usually approve study permit for DIPLOMA. I just want to know how true that is. Sorry I made a mistake, it was application accepted not approved |

einsteino: congrats same program with me. are you for fall 2017? inshort I am going to send u a pm asap. as for the hoax of not appriving study permit for PGD, disregard it. I know someone who left for the same course last year, all that matters is the link between your career progression, first degree and intended course of study. risk and safety engrng is a professional course and a pgd in it is a worthy continuing professional development. all you need is an SOP to show these points. Yes mine is for sept 2017 . Have you applied for you visa |

Eraytee: I don't understand you, you got your TRV approved without medicals (upfront or on request)? Where did u apply from? Have not heard this before is your program 6 or below 6months? If not then your approval is not in line with IRCC requirements. They just sent me a mail that my application was approved. But I don't think they have approved yet. |
