Please house, I just noticed something. While I was booking my visa appointment, I noted that I will like to depart Nigeria on the 10th of January, 2018. However, I was just reviewing my I-20 now only to discover that 10th January is stated for compulsory Orientation for Freshers/ New students. I wish to know if there is a problem with this? Thank you.

Late travel Transcript.. (sorry)

I flew to Kansas City with Turkish Airlines, journey was really long with two layovers at Istanbul and Chicago. I didn't have any issues with customs at MMIA.
Someone mentioned there that I should go to the agricultural desk because I have foodstuff but I confirmed from the Turkish airlines staff that I don't need to do anything like that, so I didn't.

We left MMIA 8.45pm Nigerian time (9th August) and arrived Istanbul 5.20am Turkish time (10th August). Food was plentiful, I guess it was good too, cos others seemed to enjoy it, but I couldn't eat most of it (Thank God for my galas and other snacks I held). The entertainment on board was really good too, with all the recent movies. The layover was still 2pm and airline provided us with breakfast during the wait.

We left Turkey at 2pm and landed Chicago at 5.35pm US time ,this part was just too long (11 hours) and so I couldn't wait for it to end. The food was better during this part though.

POE was smooth, the only question I was asked is who is going to pay for my schooling, to which I replied that I have an assistantship that will cover all my fees. My bags weren't searched at all. Even the galas I thought would be thrashed sailed through.

The last leg of the trip was from Chicago to Kansas City, and we finally left around 11.30pm after the flight was delayed twice. We landed at Kansas City around 1am. I finished up the journey with a greyhound bus.

It depends on the school. But admission letter shouldn't take longer than a week. I expect it to have been attached to the congratulatory mail you got. But it could be sent separately too. Some also ask to download from their portal online.

Hey man, congrats on your admission. If you are given funding, you would know. The nature of the financial aid given would either be stated in your admission letter (most cases) or the award details sent to you in a separate mail. Are you a Master's or PhD student?

My GRE Experience (Post 1)
I am writing this to encourage someone out there. My background includes a 2.1 and 65th percentile CGPA in both B.Sc and M.Sc respectively (medical field in Nigeria), and it was saddening to see me fall for GRE 3 times. Yes! 3 horrible times. A GRE score that is >300 seems like a Kilmanjaro without any knowledge of how to surmount it. I drew encouragement from the fact that my score improved by 6 marks at each attempt (1st - 286, 2nd - 292, 3rd - 298) and was resilient to @ least break the jinx of 300 mark, even if it's just by 0.000001. Although, it was quite challenging - financially, emotionally and mentally - to keep up with the exams due to work schedule, exam cost and depression associated with failure. Yet! I never give up 'cos I saw GRE as an hurdle to jump to achieve something big.
At last, after dealing with the 'Jericho wall' at the redemption camp on thursday, I went to JKK (where I was a regular customer) to re-write.
After the exam, I scored 308 (Total Score; Quant - 154, Verbal - 154). Not 'stellar' as we commonly say here, but at all all ........

By writing 4 times, I discovered some things about the exam that worth sharing particularly for low scorers in VERBAL. I will be back to share in the next post.. Merci Dieu

Initially applied for the fall admission at CSU but they sent a mail on the 2nd of july they couldn't admit me, best reason known to them but I guess there wasn't more space for admission. Now,I have been given admission spring 2018 at Cleveland state university on the 28th july ' masters in civil engineering. My question is ' how long does it take or when are they going issue and send my i20

Kindly go to ABIA poly why some people are like this you are looking for free things and you wil be expecting big money from it bah??... you still have to think very well maybe you should go for handwork that will not cost you at all
