Cameroon Update: When u think u aren't enjoying enough only to see weepable conditions in Nigeria We have agreed there aren't enough jobs in Africa, but at least give constant, non negotiable almost 24hrs light, so we can at least generate our own incomes and pay PHCN from it, give affordable food, affordable transportation, imagine Bamenda to Limbe which is like Lagos to Onitsha or almost Owerri being 6000-7000frs. U see massive food sacks, buckets of Irish potatoes in Cameroon, yellow Garri, carrots, green peas, easily buyable bunches of plantains, rice, beans, cabbages, sweet yam( not sweet as such and looks like sweet potatoes), sweet potatoes, palm oil, groundnut oil( which they prefer), garden eggs( red specie is common), mushrooms, bread. At Sens Interdit, u easily buy sim cards( MTN, ORANGE, CAMTEL, NEXTTEL), clothes/ gloves/ socks/ head warmers, dry fish, excess pepper. If u're slim, get ready to be fatter or at least fresher. Good, affordable RETIREMENT haven... Infact, if u plan to just build one mighty house in Nigeria, u may consider, using part of the money to buy even if it's half plot of land in Cameroon and building even if it's a small bungalow. It was in Cameroon my Power banks stopped working because I forgot to charge them. Note that u don't gain less when in their Francophone areas compared to Anglophone areas as it's bilingual and LESS FRENCH than Ivory Coast. Though, traveling abroad is cheaper via ECOWAS countries than through Cameroon.... And traveling through Douala is cheaper compared to Yaounde airport. In Cameroon there is less fear of robbers, kidnappers, bandits, no constant light can be very depressing ( how do Nigerians cope?.... Not easy being a Nigerian at all), more hope of long life as they live longer Between Benin Republic and Cameroon, Benin Republic has more organized democracy( one of the best in Africa), organized generally, neater however, when u need more value for money and life, Cameroon is it, also getting kpali in Cameroon is less complicated unlike Benin Republic. FREELANCER HAVEN: Cameroon is a Freelancer's secret haven without spending so much and u can live there even without kpali till u have the money to do one eg Student kpali..... If u travel through land borders in and out of Cameroon, just tip them.... But if by Air/ airport, it may show u have overstayed. Ikom- Ekok border through Bamenda is more accessible now and Peace Mass Transit bus can take u from any state they operate to Ikom-( pmtdotng). Make sure u hold: International passport( useful later for kpali), Yellow Fever Card, and Ego.... When u have MTN and Orange sims mobile money, u can later move in and out of Cameroon with lesser cash. Later |

BabaRamota1980:Who employed them in the 1st place to qualify for minimum wage, unless mostly from self sweat. |
IrawoKross:Big lie Easy for me to do! |
BabaRamota1980:Who says Nigerians don't pay taxes? We are pushed on every side as Nigerians. Tax is paid directly and indirectly that is why many companies are folding up rather than thriving and many Nigerians 'caving' in and shouting 'ebinpawa' Taxes: VAT, Deposits& Transfers 'tax', Fixed deposits tax, Stocks tax, Mutual fund tax, FGN bond tax, Treasury bill tax, shop taxes, agbero@ Motor parks and road taxes, land use charges/ 'ground rent', income tax, property sale tax, letter of administration tax etc. Sometimes they come even in more than one way at once. |
Government is trying to tax the middle class that APC have long eradicated and the so called rich that is getting poorer by the day due to their shylock policies. I see no reason for this. Why are the meters still expensive in a country with so much population? N83500 is damn too much....Why can't meters be portable and affordable @ from 4000 Naira? Let people be allowed to regulate what they consume..... This is just an excuse , 24 hrs light is non negotiable |
bull67:Just check my number and WhatsApp me |
Nchabuomo:Thanks a lot. God bless you |
Contenthub:If your exam is this year, the centre may not be ready till end of the year or till next year. Try Doha, Qatar with hayya.qa and pay 100 Riyal.... Almost same fare with Kenya and cheaper visa cost
|
Fumlyn:U can register with the PTE agents by Pearsonvue when u apply to write the test and they send materials to you which u pay for....Also, ptesuccess.com.au |
Nchabuomo:Hi, Question please: If someone is travelling to Aruba(Carribean) and gets the Netherlands visitor's visa, can this person with this visa travel to Mexico first and connect flight onwards to Aruba to avoid USA transit visa which is usually needed if travelling to Aruba since it connects via USA? Also, when returning, can the person stop at Mexico to do some things since the person already has return ticket from Africa to Mexico previously within the limit of their visa length? How would you plan this journey please if it were you? |
nixymax:Please, what do u actually need as your question/statement isnt clear enough. U can google NIN organisation and write them....Some banks charge too to get it.....Writing your telecom companies too can help. |
@Staga Need to ask you a question, please how do I connect with you? |
Hi |
The main people affected are those in the diaspora, some glitches. |
When their oga was busy borrowing money, sebi one 1st class oga in same party advised that instead of borrowing they shld print more money..... And since the Finance Minister left and the Asst was more of figure head, it seemed Emefiele had to double as both CBN gov and Minister of Finance, such that sometimes even his policies were not even to the knowledge of the Min of Finance who shld be one that know her office very well and to also advise where necessary. When the chips were down, they all pointed accusing fingers on Emefiele who was trying to save APC from public shame of not knowing how to manage Nigeria well into prosperity. APC is still the problem in Nigeria. Remove the problem and see some gleam of hope. |
No talk of creating job again for everyone, rather how to balance unstable Naira caused by them, how to increase electricity tariff and ensure more power supply etc, things that other African countries have already achieved. If this govt is confused about what to do, let's regionalise Nigeria and let the regions get their leaders eg South West-Tinubu, SE-Obi...SS-Goodluck &Okonjo Iweala or even Donald Duke.....North-Atiku....Let each run their CBN and do as they want concerning the borders...SS&SE will open to Cameroon and go into alliance in certain areas with them. APC has the most heartless leaders. OKAY, even if we agreed that there are no jobs in Africa, at least we should get some things right for the people eg affordable food, transport, constant power supply so people can generate income for themselves, let Naira to cfa be 1 to 1, freer economy eg allowing us to send WU, MG outside Nigeria not only receiving dollars from them....... This is why it is not good to steal what belongs to others as God is a God of justice and doesnt sleep on wicked acts---Cursed mandate. |
The Naira seems cheaper because Naira is grossly devalued when compared to the dollar. What is the use of this statistics when in reality eg Intra city transport fare in Cameroon is same as Nigeria's while Inter State transport fare is cheaper.... Imagine distance from Bafoussam to Yaounde, same as Lagos to Asaba or Onitsha is 3500frs on non peak days eg Tue, Wed and Thurs and 5000frs on peak days. Also more power supply, u hear Cameroonians shouting they dont have light even with 18hrs light on days probably maintenance or Amba boys are striking(eg 10 hrs light) in Anglophone areas and these are rare. While we thank God in Nigeria when PHCN flashes light and meter is N83500 unlike 4000-8000frs in Cameroon which is sold in any electrical store. APC and propanganda. Pls Nigerians boot them out in the next election. |
Cameroon Vs Nigeria.... The Minister of Finance in Cameroon, Mr Motaze seems to be a genius when compared to both our Minister of Finance, Wale Edun and CBN Governor.. He is both Minister of Finance and Coordinator of the economy, he will be rich for life... For here, Minister of Finance will pass his job to CBN Governor and vice versa, nobody wants to take responsibility for failure in our economy. There is global economic inflation but how each Minister handles theirs matters.... Mr. Motaze cushions it in Cameroon, our own dual partners, CBN and Minister of Finance +their oga expose Nigerians to the harsh realities of this inflation because they aren't humane politicians and not good/trained Managers of the economy. Transport cost eg from Bafoussam to Yaounde, same distance from Lagos to Asaba or Onitsha is still 3,500 FRS on days which aren't weekends and 5000frs on weekend till date unlike Nigeria. If u hear,EBIN PAWA in Cameroon where food is the cheapest thing u can get, know say rapture wan begin. APC Nigerians say fuel is cheaper in Nigeria than in other African countries and this can only be true due to the devalued Naira. They say they want to increase electricity tarrif.... If so, why not team up with Cameroon's ENEO( France helps on this) and supply portable meters between 4000-8000 FRS( maximum 5000-9000frs Single phase) where every tenant has his and can remove when going and u pay only for light used? But here, Single phase is N83,500 and Nigerians don't see anything wrong.... Seems we are becoming docile. Please, let everyone start telling the other the truth. |
Cameroon has abundance of food.... Nigerian government should drop pride and partner with their government so they task their farmers to produce more to meet our own food needs too especially local rice( they have more than one white type of rice), cabbages, peas, groundnuts, beans, fruits ( oranges are same price with ours), pears etc Government should release free trailers and employ drivers to take it to states as Cameroon borders us at the Northern and Southern regions and sell directly to traders. When sufficient food floods the market, it will force down the price of products. We can also supply them with pharmaceutical products and footwear etc. |
Open ALL borders not only Northern ones. Cameroon's local rice farmers will be very grateful to help boost our food, fruits and rice security.... This doesn't need rocket science. Peg the Naira not only doing price control of market items. Partner with Power company, ENEO in Cameroon to give us cheap, portable meters which even students can afford( it's not more than 5,000-9000frs), we are even more in population to still make profit, also to help boost power supply..... No time to be doing big brother when nothing is working in Nigeria. Right now, Biya is doing BETTER than Nigeria.... Interstate travel in Nigeria is at least X2.5 .... Terrible. |
Lauraero:Be part of their system by doing their BSc via transfer 1st then easier. |
Kongrats:RN is more versatile, later he can upgrade easily to BSN. |
I don't know why I'm seeing Cameroon there on the map even when he was comparing Nigeria to other West African countries. Cameroon's food crops and fruits are now FAR cheaper than that of Nigeria as their farmers are hard working, less greedy and no Boko Haram issues. Besides, there are variety of stuffs, not until the Hausas bring carrots, spinach, cabbage etc to the South before we( Southerners) see such, in Cameroon, sooooo may and varieties eg purple, green, white cabbages.... black, red, brown beans sold in sacks..... Carrots of N500 fills a bowl...Beans, soya beans, groundnuts sold in numerous sacks..... Funny enough, people are still saying they will vote this government again....Nigerians sef, haba! |
Annie2059:For what reason exactly? U will still go through black market.... Then..... If bank account to bank account is accepted, u just open a Domiciliary account and get a Dollar card too... Polaris bank would have been the easiest but not a useful bank to me ... Wema has good annual charges etc. U can also use apps like Chipper cash( can also send through it to your dollar account@$2 fee), Klasha etc.... U can go to play store to see their individual email to write them. I generally prefer using banks |
See that Emefiele really tried in doing his job to hide APC's inefficiency. At $1=N750, the government of the day needs to issue a public apology to this man. Take it or leave it, Cardoso is still a boy to Emefiele or the greats like Okonjo- Iweala, Sanusi and Soludo. |
GinPaul:I have my research material on Zobo The person didn't state if pregnant or not |
Fizzymidasquil:Use Google Flight to search: Cotonou to London.....Lome to London .....Accra to London.... Especially Cotonou and Accra.... Go via SEME border, passport stamped at all borders |
IkeOnyia:Ebonyi that I noticed are nice and very respectful Igbos. I noticed the generational poverty in them which affects their mindset and behavior unknown to them. Was once in their group( forgotten how I got in there...lol) and all they mention are nonsense eg why women should wash ( not with machine) their husbands clothes etc.... If my Delta people's forums are like this, I would have left since. They seem not to be doing something right like the other Easterners. One of the safest states in the East and house rent is CHEAP. Has lots of food crops that Cameroonians have eg Rice, Cabbage etc |
Eriokanmi:U took this out of my heart.....Mama added money from the contest and went to London to study Nursing. One of my elderly friend then told me at that you don't really need visa and they went by ship and passport stamped on arrival. Everyone will still die but at least one should make their life count. Not only did village people pull her but she herself is village, even her friend has more faith than her. Sometimes Benue people just like farming, being unnecessarily around family and the likes. Sometimes we need a bit of the opportunist mindset that Baba BAT has.... Also, some form of mental laziness. Benue sef needs help, if she's looking at its government for help. |
takimsipho:Do anything that works for you.... Know that sometimes it is what people hate most in life that they see..... This type of relationship is not for everyone. A man can marry and tomorrow he is no more or divorces and his wife becomes single mum and another man marries her with the children, so taking care of the late man's children or the divorcees kids is bad? That's why the whites are different. They will pick someone anywhere and raise like their kids..... |
