You people answering this guy have time to waste.Let him go and import his crew of "kokoye" builders from yankee, get them visas, pay them hourly wages, ship all the building materials from Home Depot or Lowes (just to build one single house in Elebu, Ibadan) and after all these hullabaloo, we can do a comparison of his "American White House" in 9ja to our own locally fabricated Aso Rock. After all, it's his house and he has a right to build it to his taste, abi?
Haba! nah wetin? I have a property in that very neighborhood(Oke Alaro, after the market)?one in NNPC, Apata, another 4 bedroom twin duplex(using 9ja's term) in Akala estate Akobo.In fact I used some NL's for the job & no noise at all.

I agree with you 100%. It is a shame that some of our people opportuned to go outside the country (probably from abject poverty) quickly forget what life used to be back in those days and when they visit after a long time away from home (not telling the hardship they went through abroad washing dishes, dead bodies, doing security guards, driving cabs, etc), they start complaining about almost everything that they used to embrace before their departure.What a life? Human beings are interesting.I can guarantee you, these set of people are not even in the middle class in the western world they are coming from.They are struggling there living pay check to pay check, yet they come to 9ja and pretend to be the Lion king.
I come to 9ja (Ibadan) about 2 times a year.My favourite eatery is "Ino straight" oke Premier Mokola, Iya Ope and I drink a lot of palm wine instead of coke.All these stuff are natural.The goat meat and fish are killed daily, not frozen.The only thing I don't compromise on are my medications.I take my 1.Antimalarials, 2.Twinrix (Hepatitis A & B)Vaccines 3.Dukoral (Cholera oral vaccine), Vivotif (Typhoid oral vaccine).
Once all these are taken care of, I pack my baggage with my local "ankara" and 9ja here I come.I'm as free as the bird in the air.I eat & drink anything & go anywhere with no worries.I speak Ibadan dialect fluently with pride.Mind you, I'm not an Ibadan indegene,but I lived there for more than 20yrs before I moved to the States.
Let the wanna bees keep deceiving themselves and we will keep enjoying our lives.I know a guy on NL who is a typical example wanna bee Ibadan man.

It's about time someone puts this guy where he belongs with his grandios delusions.I have read almost every response he made to people's post.Most,if not all, are very insulting and rude with arrogant tone.Who the heck are you than an ordinary hospital IT.Your take home at the most cannot be more than $80k/annum, that is if you get that much.
By the way,I have been living in the USA for more than 2 decades and a professional who makes $?,000k/annum.I go to 9ja at least 3 times a year.I am a proud professional Nigerian without the colonial mentality of your likes.
There are so many of us in diaspora that are very very comfortable, but we don't come to NL to blow our trumpets and we have properties worthy to be proud of in 9ja.
All you've done so far is struggle with erecting a 2bedroom garage yet you are all over property section insulting almost every one who wants to sell land, an architect, anyone with ideas suitable for the climatic condition of our country, etc.

He later came on NL soliciting for joint venture capital investment for a project in 9ja.This is a guy who claimed to have designed homes for celebrities in the US.Go figure.He's no where to be found on NL now.

My husband is interested.We have a useless one in 9ja bought last year from Cotonou (cuz it was a lot cheaper) but it's nothing but crap.My advise to people " don't be penny wise and pound foolish"
American spec vehicles may be expensive but you get the bang for your bucks. I'm driving a Honda Pilot EXL 2005 and trust me, it drives like new.

I must give credit to this man.He has patience and integrity.It took a lot of texting, whataspp pictures, emails and phone calls back and forth between him and myself before I could make choices for the tiles I purchased from him this Saturday, since I am in diaspora.He is truly worthy of an award because he has just proven to me that there are still a handsfull of honest 9ja biz people that can be trusted.It is a herculean task for most of us in diaspora to purchase anything by proxy but Rotech made my job a lot easier.Thanks and God will continue to promote your biz.Please, maintain your honesty and hard work rest assured of the reward soon.

It is very understandable that there will be variation in prices due to many factors as you said.However, there is what they call "base price" which is a guide and then "add ons" such as materials, size ,accessories, finishings etc will be the ACTUAL determining factor of the price for individual's need.

How far is it to the main road express?Is there water
