Our country’s General elections is coming up next month, campaign for votes is at crescendo and the spate of politically motivated violence in the Country, as well as verbal/ physical assaults on political opponents and, also the rate at which arms and ammunition are being intercepted by security agents is worrisome


In view of this, one is permitted to think that the coming elections may prove to be yet another cause for security concern.

As in the past, the elections has been a Do-or-Die Affair and the surest form of protection will be to take active interest in self-security, … and not to depend completely on security arrangements by the government.


What then can one do on the Election Day?

(1) Make sure that you wear a bullet proof vest before you go out to vote.

(2) You may also need a knife proof or you may need to wear your charms

(3) Get ready, any antidote for possible acid bath.

(4) How about “native insurance” against machete cuts? You may also need to think about that.
