President Jonathan's Intervention,Fo­rced Keshi To Withdraws His Resignation.
**Yes, it is very true that Keshi resigned his position as Eagles Head coach - Presidency.
**He informed us about backlog of salaries, his official car approved and not provided, Team starved of funds in South Africa.
The Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, who had resigned his appointment immediately after his team emerged victorious in the AFCON finals on Sunday the 10th of February against Burkina Faso has been persuaded by the presidency to withdraw his resignation while the authorities look into his dispute with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
This much was disclosed by a source in the presidency who said The official said “Yes, it is very true that Keshi resigned his position ascoach of the Eagles. That he confirmed to us. It was quite alarming given the complaints hebrought up. There were a lot on things going on that the nation didn’t know.
“He informed us about backlog of salaries, hisofficial car that has only been on paper since he took office. Even in South Africa, money was a lot of issue. It is appalling but the key thing is that Keshi has calmed down and has agreed to continue as the coach of Nigeria.”
It would be recalled that Keshi had announced his shock resignation during an interview with a South African radio station, Metro FM. He had said on Monday night "I gave them (Nigeria Football Federation) my letter of resignation immediately after last night’s game, but I haven’t heard from them yet"
The Super Eagles and Stephen Keshi are expected to land at 1pm at the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on board an Arik Air plane. They are to be immediately forwarded to the Presidential Villa for a reception in their honour by President Goodluck Jonathan. - Naija Pundit.

Three staff of Wazobia FM inKano state, have been detained by the Police who are investigating the contents of a programme they aired last week.
The detained members of staff according to head of station, Salisu Bello Kankarofi, are: Mohammed Suleiman Gama (Head of programmes), Yakubu Musa Fagge (Presenter) and Mubarak Muhamad Sani (Reporter).
The trio were invited to the Bompai Police HQ around 9:30am on Sunday for questioning and have remained in detention since then. Also in detention is Abubakar Rabo, former director of Kano Films and Censorship Board.
Trouble started after the station aired a programme on alleged fraud in the polio vaccination exercise a few days before the attack on health workers in two local government areas, leading to the death of 9 of them.
The police are trying to establish a connection between the contents of the said programme and the shooting of the health workers.
