i dn't fink so........but most always find something dat dey channel dere energy towards. Some are artistic(drawings and paintings), som writers(am in dis category though i am science-oriented). D bottom line is dat introverts are mostly creative people.

unfortunately, dere is no hard and fast rule to it......work on ur confidence level, develop ur inner strength, and socialize more. Of course, it will take time and patience, but be sure d effort wuld be worth it.

Shyness as I understand is borne out of low level of confidence. Maybe you should try working on your confidence level. Stop caring about what people would think be bold to say whatever it is that's on your mind

I was once like you, always nervous whenever I'm around guys but I eventually outgrew it. I stopped caring about what they'd think guess what? now they even feel intimidated by me

That was me about two years ago . I just had to manage it one way or the other. One moment I could engage a group of people in a talk and the other moment I'm as quiet as a lamb.
Matter-of-fact, I enjoy solitude alot and I don't talk much but people tend to appreciate me when I speak.
Introversion topples Extroversion for me anytime!

P.S; Nobody should get Shyness and Introversion all mixed up. They are two very different things entirely. 'Shyness' is horrible I tell you!

Thank God for church activities, I volunteered to be the youth secretary, I'm glad I did as it helped me build a little confidence around people.

first of all, ur welcum. Are u serious wit wat u just wrote? Wow, dis is very deep. Being an introvert is not bad but when its to d extreme.......mayb u just need to summon more courage as u have done wit dis post and write more, and wit tym...u will get by.
On a lighter note........so many choristers can sabi to sing off key wen dey are shy. U can literally see shyness radiating all over them.
