The point is Evans was an evidence of the insecurity in Anambra during Obi's tenure as Governor, just as IPOB, BZM , Ezu river corpse situations etc and Obi did NOTHING to stop or resolve any of them.

How is such a person going to resolve the insecurity issues in Nigeria when he cant resolve/stop the one in his own state he presided over for 8years?

It was under Obiano that Evans was finally caught and IPOB still reigns supreme till date.

- Those that will vote for Tinubu in the South will do so irrespective of the tribe or religion of who he selects as his running mate.

- Those that won't vote for Tinubu in the South won't vote for him even if he selects Olubunmi Okojie or Oritsejafor as running mate

-Tinubu will certainly sweep the SW votes + Kwara and Kogi.


- If he wants to win, Tinubu needs the votes of NW which he can only get with the help of Northern APC leaders.

- Tinubu is smart,curny and diplomatic enough to select a Northern Christian and still convince NW APC elite and leaders to support him.

- Tinubu already knows his preferred VP even before he openly declared to run for APC ticket.

Selecting Wike as VP may help Atiku win the election but the next 4years will have him constantly looking over his shoulder.

People forget that to be declared the winner of the presidential election, you have to win 2/3 of the geopolitical zones.

Obi isnt even 100% guaranteed of beating PDP in his own zone-SE.
Even if he does, its going to be by a slim margin.

Tinubu's campaign is largely based on keeping PDP out.

But unfortunately, the other options are not really options as there are major question marks on Obi's past well neither is he known outside Igboland .Kwankwaso is not known in the South either.

Most importantly neither have the required structure to win a presidential election in Nigeria.
Their parties also dont help matter.

You obviously dont know that SW have the 2nd largest population of eligible voters- Tinubu stronghold

NC is mixed with 2 of the states largely Yoruba dominated (Kwara,Kogi), the FCT is likely won by the incumbent party.-
Therefore ,Tinubu will win at least half of the NC

The whole of SS isnt even more populated than Lagos alone.

SE is also a PDP stronghold from previous elections hence it will be shared btwn PDP and LP.

NE is Atiku stronghold.

That leaves NW where Kwankwashiya movement will take a share of its votes.

APC governors will also take a share.
Atiku's will take a share being a Northerner.


The only thing that will make Tinubu lose is all APC Northern governors turn against him.

That could happen if Buhari makes major and obvious moves against Tinubu.

Even then, it will favour Atiku NOT Obi.

Obi is likely to finish 4th in the race behind Tinubu,Atiku,Kwankwaso.

Know this so you will be at peace when it happens.

However, I highly doubt that Kwankwaso will want to be the VP to Obi seeing as he has just as much or even more supporters.

You really dont understand Nigeria politics

SW and NW are the two largest population of voters in Nigeria.
NC work in accordance with NW and SW most times because most of them in Kogi,Kwara for example are Yoruba.
Taraba,Nassarrawa,Abuja follow NW

Benue is the only state in NC that Obi may win.

There is no way Obi will get more votes than Atiku in his own zone- NE.

SS have about as many population of voters as Lagos alone.
