youngrichnigga: Ode, so the silverback will now become a carnivore or the time required to digest a swallowed animal for the anaconda becomes shorter? Abeg carry your ignorance ho forward
Stop being ignorant. They are talking about who will win. Its a combat. Not who will eat who and the time it takes to digest. Its a battle.
Stevebuffet: All these ones are on paper. Lions have great fighting experience. A lion was put against a Tiger, and the Lion won. Go find the video out on YouTube.
You lots just come across one or two clips or documentaries and assume. Better look better and stop wallowing in ignorance. Before any face off, age, gender and specie matters.
A pack of Hyena hunts a lion. If a lion go one on one with a hyena, the lion always wins...but it is a fight not worth fighting cos the lion do take some damages. The hyena has the sharpest teeth in the animal kingdom.
No hyena can go 1 on 1 with a lion. Stop being ignorant. Just stop
Is this some sort of joke? Tiger is the biggest, strongest and mightiest of all felines. Tigers have always decimated lions when pitted against each other. There was an ancient that has always set gamble where Lion and Tiger is made to square up. The Tigers always defeat the lions.
Fun fact Do you know that a Tiger has bigger head and brain than a Lion.
A Lion is one of the best swimmers, Lions are poor swimmers compared to Tigers.
Tigers can balance on their two hind limbs and fight with both of their hands but a Lion can't. It can only balance on 3 legs and use one of the hands to fight unless it rests on the animal.
A Lion is called King not because it is stronger but because it has more social skills and organization than other animals
A Tiger from a young age is a line fighter unlike Lions that hunt in packs hence nature prepared Tigers for the harsh live they will be living
You really do have the time educating people like that. You think he's willing to learn or take corrections? No!! He just wants to prove a point. Goes online to get some info and come back to spew trash.
Pit an adult Siberian Tiger (the largest specie of tiger in the world) and an adult African Lion (the largest specie of Lion in the world) and see how that Lion will suffer
A fully grown Siberian tiger can't even withstand a fight against a Lioness, several times when they both duel, the lions always win.Slaps wey dey reset tiger brains, but tiger fans won't always agree.Lions are ruthless, but u see those Lioness, they are so aggressive. Several videos on YouTube and NaTGeo wild, has overtime led credence to this fact.
On that same site, I also saw the below, which is a more logical assessment of the two animals. My money is on the Gorilla, though, the bears claw is a big advantage. Don't forget, the Gorilla is the smartest amongst them.
"A bear’s strength without aggression is 2-5 times stronger than the average human. A gorilla, however, is 4-9 times stronger than a human. When standing, a silver back can be around 5 foot 11 inches whereas a grizzly can reach about 10 feet tall. A gorilla’s biteforce is 1300 Psi and a grizzly bear’s is 1250 Psi"
profmallor: In reality, the python is the alpha predictor in that cage. Although they are all animals with immense strength, the weakest is the Gorilla, a natural herbivore though with carnies and immense strength also. In the wild, none of the 3 Mammals would take on the reptile of that size, they see it, avoid it and walk, cause its very powerful. But in a cage, the reptiles become the least agile of the 4 and all of them can take a swipe or bite at it which may eventually kill it. But I doubt any of the other 3 would get any real upper hand over one another in a tense filled cage.
A Grizzly bear will tear off an anaconda in the wild. How can you constrict an animal with brute force and strenght. An animal with class that can tear off metal.
vikstandon: Anaconda... Flexible body feature would enable it constrict other animals.
Do you people even know what you're saying. How can you constrict someone more powerful and lethal than you? Someone aggressive and ferocious with claws. Nawa ooo
Exactly. That's the simple logic that every one else is missing. The anaconda is probably the only one of them that can slither through the opening in the cage and escape! It's simple logic which I haven't seen anyone think of! A sharp mind with high IQ doesn't need to think too far to get this answer.
I wonder how you lots think this is logic. The question is direct. The logistics here should be how they fight, their chances, their strenght etc.
Oga in a fight between the lion and a tiger irrespective of size, the lion always wins cos of its stamina n doggedness. Funny thing is when it comes to battling other animals the tiger seem to appear stronger of the two. Meaning the tiger is far more deadly with other animals compared to the lion….
You lots know nothing about this topic but still choose to head on with the ignorance
tuzle: even a bear or gorrila won't sneak attack an hippo. But lions can in fact sneak attack a bear or a gorilla, they just need to grab it by the neck. We have different kinds of bears and their are some that are a lot smaller than the grizzly, also the male gorrila are called the silver back.
Lions won't even dare sneak attack a Grizzly Bear. I know they are called silver back.
OKOATA: Cats especially Lion and Tigers tire out quickly, they don't have much endurance and for Tiger and Lion there's a video on YouTube where a lion and tiger were thrown in a cage, the lion came out victorious cos the tiger got too tired to continue.
Did you factor the age? Lions are no match for Tigers.
tuzle: the lion has no chance except it is a sneak attack or the entire pride with a lot of loses(which I am very sure the pride would avoid). One swipe from the grizzly and the damage that would be done to any of this animal would be far more than what they can dish in return, since the grizzly has a very thick skin compared to them. I see the gorrila winning 2 out of 10 and that is if it fight very smart otherwise it is a gooner.
Even if its a sneak attack, a lion wouldn't have a go at any of them. Animals know when to keep off formidable opponents. Lions don't speak attack on Hippos and other ferocious beasts.
Lol... bears aren't as skilled as lions when it comes to hunting, same as gorillas. Calling a lion weak can be very funny cos if you replace that lion with a hyena, the hyena would still put up a good fight cos they're top hunters as well.
The question is are they hunting? They are fighting off a formidable opponent.
Nazgul: I've been shaking my head in total disappointment at some of the comments I've been reading on this thread.
Most people don't understand the lion. This isn't an issue of weight or bite forces it's an issue of experience. The lion is the most experienced Hunter there cos he hunts for a living and therefore would come out victorious...why?
See how an adult is analyzing an outright fight in the wild like its a cartoon. The instinct of every animal (when they see another animal that can harm or use them as meal) is to attack. No one stays looking
You said the lion hunts for a living......The Anaconda does also..Also when it comes to hunting, lions aren't the best. They are way more ferocious hunters like Tiger etc. Lions don't hunt alone, Lions are restricted (mostly don't hunt in water and can't climb trees (tho they are evolving)..The Anaconda and the lion will be taken out easily. A lion can't even stand toe to toe agai st a tiger, rhino, hippopotamus etc.
The Bear takes it but at a cost because the silver back will cost it so much damage.
Because it's very easy to predict how everything would play out. The lion would sit by a corner and observe the other animals.
The gorilla would be the loudest in that cage, shouting and trying to attack everyone violently, in his aggression, he'll rip the anaconda apart.
Grizzly bears are not hunters therefore it's safe to say they're not as aggressive as lions and gorillas, meaning after ripping the anaconda apart, the gorilla would lunch a full scale attack on the bear.
It would definitely be a bloody fight but the gorilla would come out victorious. By this time, he's exhausted and would seriously be in need of rest, this is when the brutal Hunter (the lion) with it's killer instincts would lunch it's own attack on the gorilla's neck, the gorilla wouldn't stand a chance cos he's already exhausted. Thus making the lion the ultimate winner.
This is the video of a male lion single handedly taking down a male Buffalo more than twice its size. If a lion can take it down, it definitely should be able to take down a gorilla.
Tiger hunt alone while lion hunt in pride. Lioness are d power of a lion.
You are clearly ignorant or just chose not to make proper research...You lots watch one or two clips and you think you know the animal world. Go study how things work with Lion pride. A lioness cannot survive without the protection of a Lion. They are no match.
In a cage, the anaconda might kill all of them. The other three need space to move and attack. Look is a hunter and it’s fighting and survival skills might be impeded by lack of space to move around.
Anaconda is highly favoured in such environment, once it wraps its muscular body around any of them, they are gone.
What sort of analysis is this. The anaconda stands no chance. The best it can get is to take the lion down. The Bear and Silver back Gorilla would go for it. I tip the bear.
Doubleoh7: Probably be the gorilla, but as its coming out, it's heading straight to ICU cos that bear will greatly mess it up. Lions are really not as strong as lionesses so it's not even a strong contender there
HeartlessMan: Actually, it's only Jaguars that are mainly found in the jungle and they rarely come out. The jungle is home to pythons, crocs and monkeys.
Lions, Tigers, Hyenas and most predators live in the Savannah.
