Please how did you go about your refund with megabus? They seem to have an impossible service policy.
ugoonuoha:
Just to help anyone out there not doing it yet, please always file for compensation/refunds whenever you've received sh#tty service in this country. I've done it a couple of times and it's been successful.

For example, Virgin Atlantic delayed my flight from Nigeria to London...over 5hrs delay, I got over £500. Megabus delayed my trip for 4 hours (bus broke down and no replacement, we were stranded in middle of the night), I got the ticket value refunded.

Train was delayed (regular occurrence nowadays)...I got a partial refund.
Basically, I'd rather have an efficient service, however when they choose to mess up, it is great to have this as a fall back option. It is very rewarding...just thought to share.

PS - Just wish one can sue some Govt Agencies sha. Home office, NHS and co. will go bankrupt lol

I think you should visit the VFS center and find out if your passport is ready for collection or not. You have nothing to loose.

Veras:
Goodevening house pls i need ur assistance, I applied for UK spousal visa on the 24th of January and I paid for priority service, I got a message on the 15th February saying that my application is currently being prepared by an ECO, then on the 26th of February my Spouse got his supporting documents back, yet no mail from them concerning decision. I waited till the stipulated time given which is 30 working days yet nothing den xtra 5days nothing, so I mailed them yesterday which is the 37th working day to ask about the status of the application and they replied that Decision has been made but I haven't gotten any official mail from either ukvi or tls on that. So am wondering what next I should.. Thank you

Politics / Re: Buhari Vs Atiku: Who Do You Think Will Win Tomorrow's Presidential Election? by shemafia: 3:41pm On Feb 15, 2019
PMB is not as popular as he was during the 2015 elections. As I see it and based on popular online polls, Atiku will win, but APC will steal the mandate. The PDP will contest the results in the highest courts of the land but they'll find out that the APC is the Judge (why else did they forcefully remove the CJN from office). However, I pray that all plans made by the enemies of Nigeria will be frustrated and disappointed. Amen.
May God save our motherland Nigeria from this hungry and selfish politicians.

It's not just you o...I've been looking out for her update since yesterday..

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to go all silent. My application was not successful. Its not exactly funny dealing with a refusal.
Reason for refusal: Hubby mistakenly submitted bank statement for 2 months instead of 6. Not that he didn't have it (He has worked at the same job for almost 10years), but as of now he can not say how he managed to make such a mistake.
I was so sure we would get it, because i did my home work well. Moving forward, we will try again. Immediately.
I wish everyone still waiting a happy ending.

Good luck to you and to all of us still waiting. Please update us.

Thanks dear.
Will do.

If you paid priority and application was successful. You would be enjoying UK summer now. I heard the summer is in full swing now......

We emphasis on priority application for one simply reason, you take out the possibility of developing HBP......

Honestly ehn, I wish I did.
Anyways, I got a 'decision made' mail from TLS this morning. My fingers are still crossed. hopefully I'll get it by friday.

Wow...urs has really taken awhile. Hubby called ukvi yesterday and he was told that a decision has been made, that we should expect to hear from them before the week runs out or early next week

Hi.
I submitted a standard application in February, did biometrics 1st march, my documents were sent 6th March. It is 65 working days today, still no mail or update on the tls site. Hubby called last week, he was told a decision has been made, and was also asked how I will get my passport. So on monday, I went to the TLS center (Abuja), but the guy who checked told me my passport was not ready for collection. So hubby called again, and they said a decision has been made, but we should wait till Friday, and that if we dont get my passport by Friday, hubby should call so they can track what the ish is. So I will check back on friday, mail or no mail. I honestly wish i had paid for priority.
