Hello everyone,
Please I need help ASAP! Been on this issue for a month now. My car stops when I brake usually when I am in go-slow.
Mechanics have changed the fuel pump, changed plugs, serviced the noozles, but problem still remains.
What else do I do please. My car is literally my business as I need it to move around with the recent ban on keke and okada in Lagos... I just can’t do without it. Please help!!

I have been following most of the topic on this platform and I have benefited alot. Pls I need an advice on the car to go for. I once use Honda bullet and later got a Camry 2000. The Camry has been faithful to me for the past 6 years. And considering to get a car that I can easily maintain, rugged, fuel economy. Am looking at. Corolla 04-07, Honda Civic 08 and Honda Accord 08. Thanks

We are so fixated on fuel economy in this country and considering it's relatively cheap, it's worrisome.

Hello everyone. I bought a 2005 Toyota Corolla toks, 3 years ago. It has been serving me properly with minimal faults which I fix very quickly. Recently my car started overheating. I called my mechanic and we noticed the radiator has leaks. The leaks were sealed and I drove the car for about a week and noticed it started overheating again. If I park and pour water in the radiator, it stops overheating but as soon as I park the car for a while and start driving, I notice it starts overheating again. When I check the radiator and the reservoir, I notice there is no water inside despite pouring a lot of water previously. Could this be the radiator leaking again externally or could it be that the water is leaking into the engine. The car moves very well and does not lose power. Please help.

Visit different car stands that have the vehicle in stock and compare their prices...

Have in mind that most of the cars will have shady history ...as in they may be accidented, flooded, VIN tampered or all of the above...

A non accidented clean title 06 Corrolla should set you back about 2.2-2.4 million though, considering the present uselessness of the naira...

Most Nigerian car dealers hardly stock clean title cars because of the low profit margin and Nigerians lack of damns to give about clean title cars..

You may b going for 2007 corolla and later settle for 2005 or 2006 corolla. Just have DAT mind cos I'm talking from experience, wen I wanted to get my corolla in US, I preferred 07 and I finally settled for 06 corolla. My reason was that most of d 07 I saw then were accidented vehicle and later saw d 06 corolla I bought without accident and vin check rated d car 69% in Autocheck and most of d corolla at that range was rated 36-58% so it was a good buy for me.

Thanks chief. I plan to service it every 6months or 5,000 miles with synthetic oil. But the fuel consumption still bothers me anyways, although I use my ac through out my driving, sometimes heater during rainy days. Do you think my fuel consumption is OK?

The MRS is full synthetic I have been using it for 7years plus on several vehicles and no complaint. I don't understand sleeve filter is it a brand of oil filter or what? But when changing engine oil, you are required to replace the oil filter too.

Sorry for the loss......it's common with 2010 to 2014 Corolla. I had similar experience few years ago....I parked the car in the afternoon without issues.....the fire alarm woke me up around 3.30am the following morning. Lo and behold car got burnt. Thank God for comprehensive insurance.
