Most new Toyota corolla selling or being sold by Elizade are from South Africa but if u check d manual 20w50 is part of d oil u can used to service d car cos the car is being sold to Africa which is diff from America Corolla, you cannot used 20w50 for america corolla, if u do so, u are killing your engine gradually.
Always follow your manual b4 u decide on d oil to used for your tokunbo or new cars.

God bless u my bro for this statement. Any Toyota corolla 03-07 precisely came with factory mistake paint as a new car in USA, so after few months used as a new car, the paint peel off on top of d roof, trunk and even d hood/bonnet, that's d most affected area, Any clean corolla 03-07 u see in American have been painted over there and its not first body. I'm talking of all corolla in d range of 03-07. Thats just d facts. If u don't believe confirm from google or anybody u know in USA

It depends on your choice and many pple dislike sport just cos of bad roads but if u stay in environment that have good road, u can go for sport. I prefer sport and I'm using 2006 corolla sport in Abeokuta which I bought tok this year Feb, I'm enjoying d ride, I bought a new tyres which make it high, size of d tire is 205/70/R15, with this tyres, I can enter anywhere. In conclusion d choice is urs. If u prefer LE or CE go for your choice.

2003 and 2004 Toyota corolla are d same but 2005, 2006 and 2007 Toyota corolla are different from 03 and 04.
2005, 2006 and 2007 have same similarities, they have 3 headrest at d back seat, 6 loaders CD and brake light position are different from 03 and 04.
2006 and 2007 Toyota corolla have security immobiliser alarm and other like 03, 04 and 05 Toyota corolla doesnt have. But from 03-07 have same engine 1.8L engine and they look alike but 05, 06, and 07 body look big somehow wen u place them beside 03 and 04.

The code is P1284 and provable causes are

Low coolant level
Faulty Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Stuck or leaking thermostat
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Another thing to understand here is if your thermostat is still intact?

If truly u are using Mobil 1 of 17k, that means u were not there wen your mechanic was putting d oil inside ur engine, He don do sakamaje for u by pouring oil thats not Mobil 1

You can't use Mobil 1 and change in 2 months unless u are using your Arike for Uber.

Its a good car but my advice for u is to check customs paper and confirm if its genuine, Most of this Used car normally have AC problem, d owner will tell u, its just need gas to refill, u want to sell a car of 1.5-1.8M and u cannot fill d 2K gas, Check thoughly b4 u make payment

Those car is having AC issue, 2009-2013 is always having AC issue, I have seen many people that they want to sell their car as used but they will tell u d AC just need gas and nah lie, A car u called used car and u want to sell 1.8M naija used and u cannot put 2k gas on d AC, the AC is problematic.

Toyota corolla is more expensive now and clean title are very scarce in USA, especially on Copart, if u see clean title just budget 2.1M including customs, u may have luck to get lesser one and it also depend on mileage, u can see clean title with mileage of 200,100 miles but will b lesser than clean title of less than 100k miles.

GAZZUZZ:
You must not use mobil1. Search for any good brand of engine oil with the 5w30 weight. Don't be deceived , there are only two recommend oils it's either full synthetic or mineral. That semi is a scam.

Second check the deep stick of your gear oil, the type of oil to be used will be inscribed on the deep stick.

Use Mobil 1 sae 5w30 extended performance high mileage and for gear oil used Toyota type t iv as per your manual

3 weeks via RORO, if you go for accidental car, it would be lesser but don't buy front collision. You can be lucky to see d one with minor scratched and it will be lesser.

Sorry for delay, it depends on d condition of d car, mine 2006 corolla have 87k mileage and that's d actual mileage, it cost me around 2.1M, wen d car arrived, have been using it without changing anything yet, no work to b done on d car, the oil inside d car was very neat, thou I will change d oil after using it for sometime. You can go for CE, its very cheap clean title as around 1.7-1.8M direct. I bidded mine from copart and I bought it that amount cos its for personal use and I didn't regret that I bought it that amt. Very clean and everything is intact. My 2.1M including customs duty

My brother your catalyst is bad and u need to replace it, try to change the spark plug in cylinder 4 or u tell your Kazeem to check the spark plug in 4 if its still okay, if not try to change it.

I believe your key is good, the problem may be that the door lock engines of the trunk and driver door are stiff or faulty (as someone already mentioned). A young smart panel beater should be able to fix this cheaply.

Well, from my own lil understanding...one of those remotes, is the OEM(stock/factory) key fob made for the car. While the other one is an aftermarket remote, which usually has a transponder connected underneath the dashboard. As someone pointed out already, the 2006 corolla key usually has a chip...it is the aftermarket remote that can start the car, and also alarms when you open the door from the passenger's side with the key.
If your key can start the car and open the passenger door...then I think you need to take a look at the locks on the driver's door and the trunk...they're are prolly stuck due to inactivity..
Ps; The OEM remote is basically for unlocking and locking the door, and also for 'panic' mode.

I need advice on this issue, the 2006 Toyota corolla I just bought from USA have single key and two remote but I don't know if d key is Master or Valet key, my reason is that the key couldn't open d door from driver side, could not open d trunk but can open d door from passenger side. If I used d key from passenger side alarm will blow continuously which I used one of d remote to stop it. Out of d two remote, one can start d car from far.
I'm presently using remote to open d door from driver side and if remote spoil what do u think will b solution or any advise on this. Pls gurus in the house over to u.
