I need experience on this issue, the 2006 Toyota corolla I just bought from USA have single key and two remote but I don't know if d key is Master or Valet key, my reason is that the key couldn't open d door from driver side, could not open d trunk but can open d door from passenger side. If I used d key from passenger side alarm will blow continuously which I used one of d remote to stop it. Out of d two remote, one can start d car from far.
I'm presently using remote to open d door from driver side and if remote spoil what do u think will b solution or any advise on this. Pls gurus in the house over to u.

Its not high my bro if its free accidental. I bought my own 2006 toyota corolla on Copart around 2.1M including customs duty but d mileage is around 87k, The car look like brand new, accidental free and no single work to be done on d car. if you are not careful, Naija dealer will sell u accidental car for u for 2M and u will not know. My advise for you is to get history of d car u want to purchase.

Pls forget abt d car, its too expensive accidental ...... You can see good grade non accidental for 2.5-2.6M

Good Day. I recently bought a car (used)from this forum, Camry 2001, Auto Transmission, i4. To be honest it’s a big regret. I live in Benin and I had to send a friend, who took a mechanic along to inspect the car. Car was certified okay by the mechanic. But when I came for the car I discovered that whenever I am driving and I apply break it shuts off. I managed it to Benin like that and the next day I took it to the mech for repairs.
Fuel pump was changed, engine sensor, to cut the long story short, I have spent more than 28k trying to fix the issue of break and quench with different mech and electricians. Right now I don’t know who to blame, the seller or the mechanic that inspected the car and certified it okay. Please help is needed urgently on how to fix this issue. Thank you.

Pls all those things u change are still good, check your ignition coils, they are two ignition coils and its less than 9k for both. Try to change it or mechanic get u ignition coil to test it.

No issue but corolla sport is a good car but u enjoy it, on bad road u drive gently and don't never raise d car but u can change d tire size to 205/70rim 15. All corolla sport always come with alloy rim 15 but d follow come tire size is 195/65/rim15

Why do u want to change? What's d name of d synthetic oil u are using b4? I have a reason for asking this questions. Thou no side effect but pls ans those question b4 I further explain

It doesn't but wen u get to where u want to buy tire, they will advise u better.

yes!!! My matrix would be 2years in March! Zero worries, no troubles... other than to service this car, I haven’t been to the mechanic.

bought full tank on a trip from abuja to imo state in my corrolla 2007 ride, used AC all Tru the journey and am left with quarter tank fuel. my friend dat we travelled together sold his Camry and bought Corolla wen we came back.....

If u are a tall person, corolla may not be good for u. I use corolla bt its not spacious. Aside ds point, I think I don't av any regret buying a corolla(although its just 4months old).

Meanwhile, I want my car to bit high above d ground such dt d silencer will not b hiting d ground all d time. Someone said I should change the car rim and tyres to 16 from 15,another person said I shd just change my tyre from 185 to 205 and still be using the 15R. PLS WHICH OPTION IS BETTER

What type of corolla are u using? Is it a corolla sport if yes which model, I will advise u to change your tyre to 205/65/R15

This story just got to few hours ago.. I myself could not believe it .. It also drives home the point why I prefer to import my engine oil and goods from the USA...

So I just called my Lagos contact to know how the business is doing so far .. So I was told that we just got another engine oil customer for Mobil 1 . He was reccomended through one of our car dealer in Lagos.. When the oil was deliver to the new customer. It took my team and car dealer 15 minutes to convince him that our is not fake and it is imported from the USA .. The new customer explain to us that his neigbour has drum and drums of fake Mobil 1 oil in his house. Which includes a machine that makes the same label. And he stated the oil are sold at the same price as the original in places around Lagos.. He said since than he was afraid to buy Mobil 1 oil ..... After he was convince that our Mobil was real , he stated if we can supply to other places for him in Lagos and also to his place of work.. He just wanted to make sure there will a continuity of the product ....

My point is people should ask questions and know the source of your product.. Avoid buying fake products at all times. .... Customers can rest assure that my products are genuinely from the USA and I import them directly not from a third party or middlemen type thing.. But I buy from directly from the USA ... And I take pride in what I do.... For all your Genuine Mobil 1 oil , am at your service

I drive a corolla 2007 sport I bought last October. 
It's engine is heavily slugged cos the former owner was using the wrong oil grade.
So, in December, I flushed it with Liqui Moly and switched to mobil1 synthetic oil
The problem now is, the oil gets short persistently despite driving the car for just once a week, about a 100 km to and fro.

The car drives smoothly, doesn't smoke nor leaks.

What could be the problem sirs and kindly suggest solutions.

What is d mileage of the car? The issue with most of the car is that mileage will have been around 245,000 MPH but our dealer will roll back to 105,000, I will advise to change d PCV valve and thank me later.

Pencil with 4 plug is better but make u buy accident free and u enjoy d ride

Toyota Camry ( pencil ) I changed it to Toyota Camry ( big daddy 2006) when the pencil was having gear problem. Changed it again cuz of fuel consumption cuz of its engine capacity ( V6) Now using Toyota Corolla 2010 ( low fuel consumption, always on AC On, fast and with portable size, can park it anywhere. 4k fuel from Ketu Lagos to Unilorin in Kwara state and still used it for two days before I put fuel again.

Please when you're buying one, try to buy tokunbo. Used Toyota isn't advisable. I had problem with gear of that Toyota Camry pencil cuz it was bought Nigeria used. But the big daddy and corolla was bought Tokunbo. I sold the big daddy after two years of usage ( I fixed nothing) corolla is a year and 6 months now ( nothing to be fixed) just change oil and fuel it. I believe I'm not gonna fix anything on it. Well, it see what happens when it get to three years of usage. Try and buy tokunbo car, don't buy Nigeria used for any reason.

How much u get 2010 corolla

By the time danfo scratch the motor, you will ask if it is worth buying a clear title car

Duty is compromise duty but its 400-420k with additional of 7.5% VAT, it will never reach 600k

Yes youre very correct about being prone to engine sludge particularly here with the dusty environment. I lost the engine of my 2006 Corolla to engine sludge. other than that its being free of any hassles. Very rugged.

Only Nigeria dealers can assist u

In term of fuel economy, corolla is far better than camry

300,000 mileage doesnt mean anything cos a car of 20 years and u expect 100k mileage. Most car of 20 years is having mileage above 180k but our dealer normally roll back d mileage to be able to sell d car with good price
