Education › Re: Demons In St Clairs Anglican Girls Grammar School, Offa Forced School's Closure by Sheuns(m): 11:34pm On May 29, 2021 |
queenjoseph: They should not have evacuated the students.
Don't they know that even demons are afraid of humans, the same way human are afraid of demons?
If they had stood and confronted the demons, the demons would have fled.
It is only when people show fear that the demons would be bold to attack.
But if you stand your ground, they will flee.
They are God's creatures just like humans and God did not give them any authority over human beings.
Even angels who are higher in power than humans cannot so much as lord it over humans, because God does not give them such authority.
So anytime you hear the voice of a demon,go out and attack it,or better still, just ignore, and go about your business without fear.
There is one that use to pass in an area every night.
One day, one man challenged it, flashed light on it, and saw that it had a face without eyes, mouth or nose.
The demon stopped passing that area from that time on.
When I was about 9 years, one demon use to pass in my area every night, after midnight.
One night, because of a problem with my mother, I decided to sleep outside in protest. I stayed near the road and the demon was passing.
One of my neighbors who had light on,immediately switched off the light in fear and everywhere was totally silent.
I just shun it.
After it passed, one of my neighbors switched on his light and few people started talking about it.
But even as a little girl,I was not afraid.
We must be bold, because nothing can hurt us. The demons you see take physical forms? Abi how you take flashlight for their faces? The boldness part is true sha. No fear those things. I believe if those guys can take on physical forms humans will wrestle them. |

IMAliyu: I know right.
They've both probably weakened each other, that would had been the best time to wipe both out. Or at least wait until one kills the other and they should come and finish the survivors. The moment of their fight was a great opportunity to deal a heavy blow on both parties. The military intelligence know they were fighting for days but couldn’t strike. If they had used superior air power, they may have been able to reduce their numbers greatly. But No, they chose to look on. ISWAP will only get stronger now, they gotten hold of some BH military hardware |

candygist: Until he starts licking your dirty ass, that's when u will see him as humble. You think say Grammy na headies award that Davido ND other untalented artist can win ? Them no dey use money buy Grammy bro. A simple google search will show you “talented” artistes who have never won a Grammy. That doesn’t make them less talented or Burna boy better than they are. Grammy is only an award. Not a measure of talent. |
Celebrities › Re: “We Contributed To Your Growth’ – Nigerians Slam Burna Boy by Sheuns(m): 1:49pm On May 19, 2021 |
lexy2014: I was on Twitter in 2019 when burna boy was invited for the Coachella music festival in d US. Burna boy observed that his name was spelled in small letters and he raised objection to it noting he is an "African Giant". To my greatest amazement, many nigerians derided him and said he was being arrogant & that his attitude will get him nowhere. Many asked, what made him think he was a giant when he was just a local champion. I felt obligated join in d conversation & noted that if burna chose to call himself "African Giant", I don't see why Nigerians are insulting him for it.
Later in 2019, he released an album "African Giant", a hit by no mean standards. He went on to win d Grammys after nigerians said his pride will get him nowhere. He has won d Grammys. D same nigerians who never liked burna and who said he will amount to nothing, are now claiming they are responsible for his success. So which humility are u still talking about? Awards are not won by pride or humility but by work and merits. He deserved the award that’s why he won it. I’m only not in support of his statement that he isn’t a Nigerian artiste, well unless he has another nationality, then it’s fine if he says such. The album that won him a Grammy is Twice as Tall. African Giant was his first nomination. |
Celebrities › Re: “We Contributed To Your Growth’ – Nigerians Slam Burna Boy by Sheuns(m): 9:02am On May 19, 2021 |
candygist: Many of your never supported him since day one. Many of you celebrated when he lost his first Grammy nomination. Many of you said he will never win a Grammy. Many of you don't like him even after he outshines your local champions.
Now, the same nigga you all don't like said he doesn't make money from your Nigeria and you all are still angry.
I don't understand Nigerians o. Because he won a Grammy now, he’s no longer a Nigerian artiste? The shows he had organized and people turn out en mass for is called what? Are those people the whites he’s worshiping? The guy sings well no doubt, but he needs to respect the audience. Even those that have won Grammy more times than he has are still humble. |
