Nice airport they got right there in Ogun State. |
Let's stop using misinformation as a tool. The pendulum swings both ways. This is much ado about nothing and Seun Okinbaloye knows. Where is Wike's performance report card in FCT between January and March 2026? We are not hearing about projects anymore. That should be the priority, beer parlour talks should be secondary but trust our simpleton journalists. |
She is finished, not the country. An average hardworking and honest Nigerian is already outside working diligently. Most of them are not celebrities. No one notices them as they are not newsworthy, they keep moving in spite of daily challenges. wealthyvic1: |
Seyi Makinde, very very stubborn character ![]() |
Oyo State is shocking to me. A Seyi Makinde that was widely supported actually led the battle against the independence of local governments. In general, he started on the right track but started deviating with some head-scratching decisions especially in terms of developmental projects. He has done a great job with many roads in Ibadan metro, and some key link roads in Oyo, Iseyin, Ogbomoso etc. The sour tastes are his actions with regards to the funds meant for local governments, which he has unrepentantly cornered, shady acquisition of lands and properties in Ibadan, mismanagement of issues around federal government intervention fund for Bodija explosion victims, among others. |
Let us learn to mind our business. It is not mandatory to have an opinion on everything. Katsina is not Nnewi. |
That's fine but let's quit the emotional blackmail. He already apologized on that & explained the circumstances. This is a totally different discussion. zionic: |
naturalflow:You are right, he actually takes 5 cans in total daily and eats like a 6 year old. However, here is another useful information: According to the CDC and the American Diabetes Association: "Black adults are approximately 60% more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes than white adults." |
This is not just for you at individual level, it is also critical for the economic well-being of families in a country where majority are relying on their children as retirement plan. Please have mercy on the younger generation, and younger generation should please have mercy on your unborn children. The global population is much larger and competition is higher, cost of healthcare is a huge burden and should only be for unavoidable health conditions. Self-inflicted or avoidable health issues should be avoided via healthy habits. Above all, the pain is not desirable. Reduce the sugar indulgence, stop inhaling filth in the name of smoking, and stop drinking undiluted ogogoro if you must drink. Be disciplined! |
Gbas gbos food don land for the usual suspects. Justice for 2Baba in advance ![]() |
lastmessenger:With what we see daily on the streets, let's worry about what Nigeria may look like in five years. |
Sonnobax15:Totally agree with you. He is also a beggar and he is right. The truth is bitter. |
I am Yoruba and I totally agree with him. We have totally pooped on our value system with shameless begging and many of our people today even mock those working diligently. The truth is bitter by nature and design. Atelewo eni ki tan ni je. Ise loogun is. Oruko rere o San ju wura ati fadaka lo. We have rubbished all these Omoluabi sayings over the years. Peller himself is a prime example of this decadence, he is a beggar. Yet, it was shocking to see video clips of a young boy harassing him for money in a core traditional Yoruba city like Oyo. Someone like that will have no problem switching to kidnapping and armed robbery. It is not too late for Yorubas but we should not allow the dishonest ones destroy our values. Unfortunately, most of our palaces are now in the hands of fraudsters and people of weak character with zero integrity. |
LordIsaac:This is my greatest wish so some hardened eyes go clear when reality dawns ![]() |
Precious201010:This is the stark reality offline. |
favour32:You are a wicked somebody. Some here have never seen N200k of their own in real life yet they are multi-millionaires online ![]() |
Noodles those days. I always use just one third of the seasoning due to the salt content. Makes sense with lots of vegetables & salmon. |
Just dey watch them dey laff. Another one mentioned 350k per month for accommodation. Most of these guys are squatters or still living with their parents. They have not seen real life yet. Real life will teach you the basics that you need for comfortable living, and the differences between basic comfort and full comfort. LordBiden: |
Ali might get the ticket in Oyo by consensus. Aside his strong base in Ibadan, he has worked hard behind the scenes reaching out to key stakeholders in Ibarapa, Oyo, Oke-Ogun and Ogbomoso. His cause is helped by the difficult alternatives like Adelabu and Folarin. The major concern is his closeness to Oba Ladoja which may impact votes from Oyo and Oke-Ogun axis in a state where winning margin is always very close. However, feelers indicated that while Oyos & Oke-Oguns are justifiably aggrieved, their traditional bond with Ibadan is as strong as ever making consensus smoother in reality than on paper. |
shortgun:Sadly I have to agree with you on the issue of respect. The way some Yoruba people are shamelessly demarketing their Olubadan, Oluwo, Ooni and Alaafin with full chest and pride is the most disgraceful thing ever. What a wasted generation. They poop on their own heritage just to prove point. |
erico2k2:... I just saw this headline: Tinubu Courageous To Remove Fuel Subsidy - Governor Alex Otti |
tunjijones:Was Dangote fully operational from January to December 2025? ![]() |
Let's keep in mind that officially all these empires and kingdoms are ceremonial. There are laws of the land. Be it the two official and well-documented historical empires of Benin and Oyo, and other kingdoms with real or later day fabricated history, they do not have any legal authority beyond local laws. |
Mr Omuemu means Mr Palmwine Drinker in Yoruba language ![]() “A staff member of the Benin Traditional Council, identified as Mr Omuemu, has been detained by the Nigeria Police Force. He has been charged in court for causing a breach of the peace and abetting the unauthorised entry. |
lagonovo:Looks like our people won't understand this until reality hits their forehead. |
BrokenTV:Key part of owning/using a vehicle is fueling it, cars are expensive and oil, or even electricity, is not cheap. Bottomline: Economic planning must be strategic and not piece-meal. This debate captures the core tension in Nigeria’s current economic climate - the gap between social reality (how people live across different income levels) and market reality (how global trade works). |
BrokenTV:In my opinion, minimum wage is irrelevant when you discuss oil, cars, car parts, and the likes. |
BrokenTV: We no dey remember minimum wage when we hail Nigerians buying Lambo, G-wagon, Range etc or when we price our "small" car almost all shipped from overseas. |
MarkNsukkaBread:Yes Walmart sell petrol. |
Ayomid3h:This is not true. Gas price depends on where you live. Even the price varies around you. Gas is still less than $1 per liter for regular type in many places. You still see less than $3 a gallon at Walmart, for example, depending on where you live. A gallon is almost 4 liters. |
