thomas2024: If I know take care of my siblings, who will apart from my parents? "Take care" while they are still dependents or in school/training. After that stage every official adult must be productive. This also applies to your children. That is how societies grow in a sustainable way. A society loaded with parasites can't see real progress. Random empowerment and support is also good but people should build mutually-beneficial relationships with banks and cooperatives as they grow. Get business loans, pay back as agreed, then get more and pay back. |
Politics › Re: Am I your receptionist? — Gov Eno hits Critics For Saying He Doesn't Pick Calls by Shikena(m): 1:58pm On Mar 02 |
Some truths are actually very bitter and those who are the loudest against such truths are often the worst manifestations of those sad truths when given the opportunity.
Do your due diligence and understand the structure around a governor then identify which official assistant to reach out to. That is proper channeling.
Most of those complaining here cannot even handle 10 calls a day. I definitely cannot do 5 a day, it will affect my productivity! I have work to attend to. |

Omooba77: Why do we celebrate the rich more than the poor in some Churches? True in many cases but I think the word is recognition not celebration which I think pastors should handle with more wisdom. However, givers are said to "never lack" and words are prayers. Givers never lack and that includes recognition and celebration. Those who give their time and energy, even without big money, should also get good measure of joyful recognition. |

yesloaded: Naira is appreciating but cement price is going up
Whats happening? It's been officially declared several decades ago that Nigeria's economy defies economic logic. It is difficult to quantify the natural greed of an average Nigerian businessman. For example, news of impending fuel price increase or dollar increase is enough for an immediate increase in the cost of products across Nigeria but a corresponding actual reduction in fuel price or dollar value will not reflect in cost of products due to perpetual "we are selling old stock" argument. |

Majority of the younger generation are loaded with information but ignorant of the law. That "it's not that deep" mentality will lead many of them to jail if people start allowing the law to settle issues by suing for justice. There is no "cruise catching" in law Someone will do something illegal and mumus will come online to be typing "I don't see anything wrong in that" as if it's their papa that wrote the law or will sit in judgment if case gets to court. hotseat: It's better to use some people as scapegoats in order to serve as deterrent to others.
Just because you want to catch cruise, you begin to slander and libel perceived enemies.
"Slander" and "libel" are regarded as "deformation of character" in law.
When you deliberately attribute to people what they are not in a damaging manner, you are liable before the law.
In this particular instance, you called someone a "witch" which you cannot prove in court.
Then, you must be made to eat watery beans in Kirikiri!
It's as simple as that!
