Just imagine my chat with this frustrated driver. The man wanted to charge 15k from Ikeja to Ipaja Ayobo. I didn’t force him to accept the 9,500; in fact, that was already more than what the app was recommending.

Let’s address the price, is 9500 okay from Ikeja to ayobo?

That’s around 25km in distance with lot of traffic and corners on the way, couple with not getting rides back. Anyway, I will still blame the driver for accepting to renegotiate.

Please recommend a very very good auto paint shop for me.

Bolt should take advantage of this uber exiting the market and unblock most of their drivers that were blocked for declining request and the ones that committed minor to little offense so they can have enough drivers everywhere to honour ride request from customers. If they don’t do this, majority of the riders will start using inDrive due to more availability of drivers on the platform.

Someone should please recommend a very good auto paint shop for me, they should render both oven bake and body work. Anywhere within Lagos as long as their service is very good and affordable.

Just got the email that Uber is leaving Nigeria. What a sad news. I haven't stayed long in this job but Uber has been my best app. Their riders are more matured and well behaved.

Their fares are better than bolt and Indrive by far and they don't reduce driver score or ratings anyhow.

I remember Uber gave me a bonus of 50k for completing my first 10 trips when I started.

Driving without Ac is completely bad and doesn't help me as a driver. I have tried working without Ac last week and honestly, the difference is huge. Driving without Ac adds to your stress big time. Driving with AC always on i get more comfort driving. Sometimes i get to work longer and enjoy it

Everyone should know this, you can’t be exposed to sunlight and not get tired quickly compared to being in a cool & chilling car.

Also, driving while your windows are down isnt good for health, you tend to inhale a whole lot of dust and pollution from outside.

Nice questions, this shows how grounded you are. Well, we finally settled for 1.3m, car would be used only within Lagos, for his movements to be driven by him. I suspect na going to visit long time friends, family, clubbing, going for functions, events and church activities. I insisted the car not go out of Lagos which he obliged to,if they try me, I go put am off for tracker(this is why tracker is important). He would be the one fuelling the car, though i would give it to him on a full tank. Lastly, the guy that connected me is a dear friend who has always given me great business, he's based abroad now, so even if anything like dent or so happens, he can come through. Fortunately for me, I had plans to travel this September, so it is to my best advantage, so by the time I come back in October hopefully the bad prices we see now would have been better.

This is a very sweet deal btw, imagine taking a whole month paid leave. Just dey enjoy yourself.

There is. Is different from other surveillance cameras.
There is one, after Unilag, inward Island. Another one, coming from Adekunle inward Island, like 2/3km . Other one, immediate you climb 3MB, like 2/3km, inward Oworo. All to your left.

This isn’t speed cam, this should be for document, speed cam are mounted on scaffolding installed across the road, it normally have like 2 or 3 cameras to cover each lanes.

It’s similar to the camera at Allen junction that captures traffic light offenders.

It's only Alapere, 3mb, and mobolaji bank Anthony that have speed cameras. The rest are false. 3mb has at the beginning and the end of the bridge. Every other part is free of speed cameras

I don’t think there’s any speed camera on third mainland bridge, can you get a pic of the speed cam you’re talking about on third mainland?

It is actually iPhone way, it doesn’t display new request on your full screen and when you get that notification of new request, before you open the app to click it, you won’t even see it again so you have to remain on inDrive interface to be able to click on your preferred trip.

I don’t know if you understand me.

iPhone isn’t good for inDrive at all, you will just be missing good trips.

That alogen LED lights attached along with the speed cam, once you notice it’s off, the cam isn’t working and if it’s ON, it’s working. So just sight it from afar while approaching it.

If you had a check engine light on your instrument cluster steady without blinking then going ahead to install any CNG package is a 50/50 affair

Apart from the installation technician being somehow unskilled (which is also a huge factor) that your vehicle having unresolved emissions or mechanical issues is also a determining factor in your post installation experience with CNG.

If you ask 100 people who have had issues with their CNG installation you'd quickly realise that at least 50% of them had their check engine lights on when they went to get their CNG kits fitted. If the technician says they won't install it because of the way it will affect the car and they should go and rectify the prior problem some people still beg and bribe for the CNG kit to be installed anyway

I'm not implying that it MUST have been your own case for dekitting, but if everyone is being factual there are far more people enjoying their CNG usage compared to those that have a complaint or two about it.

In nigeria as at today, the probability of enjoying CNG on an already properly maintained vehicle is very good 👍🏾 the knowledge base has increased too. All we need is for government to assist the citizens with more stations to purchase the gas.

My check engine light is on but static and when scanned, it brought catalyst missing and evap below something something (can’t remember) do you think it’s advisable to install CNG?

Speed limit on Bank Anthony is 60km/h with fine if you exceed

Speed limit on 3rd mainland bridge is 80km/h with fine too

Avoid doing more than 55km/h in ikeja roads, cameras full everywhere.

The day i go renew papers for Ojodu, one SUV was fined 20K for parking on curb. His accummulated bills that day was 60K+ he first shout for the hall when dem show am with videos

You should avoid Marina, Broad street trips, but if you must risk it please use Google maps because 1-way too plenty

3rd mainland bridge cam is just surveillance cam, only bank Anthony and alapere speed cam was working but they aren’t operational for more than 3months now. Paid 120k in total for that speed cam last year.

Working for app companies is when even with high Gross, u end up paying high commissions and high fuel costs.

U can't Gross higher and make less than someone grossing lower except that person is spending less on fuel and commission.

That leads back to ur initial position, if u are grossing high in a short time, then it's definitely not shitty price. Those two things cannot be innd same sentence

2. They may be accepting longer pick up trips

3. They be taking longer routes to destinations

4. They may be accepting unfavorable trips.

Yahoo can never fold up, infact, it’s getting worse everyday as more youth are indulging in it.
