I have once carried a rider, while on the trip, I took a traffic free route but the rider wants me to take a certain route that has traffic and also longer in distance. I told her you can’t dictate where to pass for me as long as the route I’m passing is an alternative route to your destination, the rider insisted i take her route or i take her back to where I picked her up. She was shocked when I turned back and started driving her back to the pick up, she even made a call to her husband and that phool too was commanding me on the phone and telling me do I want to kidnap his wife. I didn’t answer them and just drove another 5km back to her pick up, I could see the regret in her eyes cox she couldn’t believe I will take her back.


I don’t care if I’m loosing fuel but you can’t control me inside my car even though I’m rendering a service to you.

I took my offline rider to liasu road ikotun and decided to look for a ride back to Ojodu on indrive. I eventually saw 1 with a very very very ridiculous price to ogunnusi road from egbeda bus stop and highest bid was 6300. I decided to do it to cover for fuel only for the rider to tell me it’s delivery, I asked for picture of the goods and he sent picture of 4 big boxes with a small fridge, i just vex cancel the ride begin dey drive home.

This work can test someone’s patience and tolerance now

Morning bosses. Pls how do you guys deal with phones overheating while using the Bolt Driver app and Google Maps?

Mine overheats a lot even when I'm running just these two apps. And most times the apps will just close. And then I'd have to turn off the phone and wait for sometime. It can be really frustrating cuz sometimes it does this mid ride, and then I'll start begging riders to give me directions.

I use a Samsung S20 with a Snapdragon chip. It's 6gm RAM.

Samsung S series and overheating, annoying part is, the phone will stop charging and you don’t want to waste fuel to ON AC so the phone can at least charge a little so you can be able to accept work 😂. I quickly switched to iPhone cox of this problem but the issue I have with iPhone is, notifications doesn’t appear on full screen and you tend to miss some juicy trips.


Try get Samsung A series, it’s better than the old S series except if you can afford S24 upwards.

Your submission here, simply mean there is no solution and as such, Glith stance is the only temporary way forward. Mentioning govt as intervention in this case is even scary. My Nigeria govt. . Expecting Nigeria govt intervention as way forward is simply building castile in the air.
But whichever way, that is life, some of us will continue to dance azonto, while some will not. At the end, everything will reset again and everyone will still survive one way or the other.
Right now, we need healthy competitions.

To be very honest with you, there’s no other solution except for what pearl said which is government intervention to set standardized and fixed price per km. Or else, any new app coming will struggle to gain rider if price is higher than what bolt and inDrive offers currently.
