I’m sorry I’m just seeing this message. Once you begin the spousal sponsorship process, your spouse is eligible for a work permit. You are not applying for a work permit until the spousal sponsorship process has started.

I noticed it when I checked my application yesterday. I checked again today and it's now showing. Submitted my app on the 17th of January 2020.
I don't know my VO but it's definitely one of the VOs that process applications for those residing in the US.

Hello, do you stay in the US? What have you noticed about your VO that made you suspect it might be the same for those that applied in the US? I'm asking because I just found out Montreal VO processes most applications from US and desperately praying mine dosent fall under that category because my medicals will expire soon, just after projected date of completion. it's true. After your ITA, you'll have the opportunity to add your spouse but your score will be recalculated. If it falls within the Score that fetched you ITA which in this case is 470, you are good to go. Do that ASAP.

So imagine my panic when I couldn't see anything, even thought network was messing with my application, lol. So, when I'm done, I'll see it?

Well, try obtaining a screenshot like I did on pg. 428 and tweet at them via @WEScanada. I tried it yesterday (as advised by @emmatrack) after I posted similar issue as yours here and posted 3 very touching yet factual tweets on their handle. Lo and behold, I checked my wife's account first thing this morning and they have already retracted their earlier updates. I did mention here too that there were two other frustrating updates on her WES timeline which claimed they were yet to receive her transcripts for OND and HND. The package containing both was indeed delivered and I have the proof of delivery.. Summarily, all these negative updates cleared off before daybreak!... Timeline now reads "We received your document(s). We are reviewing your document(s)"... I'm praying affliction does not arise a second time!!
