Learn something about life. Your opinion is not the only valid one. That you don't believe in it does not make it wrong. It is foolishness to believe you are right and millions of people that attend many of these churches are the foolish ones. Stop thinking that way. If you are that wise , you won't be faceless on this forum, hiding behind your phone to accuse millions of being defrauded by the pastors.
You don't need to believe in it. I also don't believe in some of the teachings. I am just not foolish enough to belive they are all fools and I am the wise one because I don't believe in what they believed in.

I used to think this way. Recently, I decided to help a brother who read mass communication to find a job. I was shocked. This guy can't even find his name on the Internet. This guy can't do practically anything on his own.

This is someone that spent all his days complaining about lack of jobs in the country.

I told him if I am an employer, I can never employ you. You want me to display your mass communication degree on the wall In the office? Is that what will do the job? Zero skills. You think we owe you jobs because you have a degree you can't even defend.

He asked me to thumbprint again even though I've done it before joining the queue for interview.
I guess this was to see my immigration history but I am not very sure.
He typed for less than one minute and told me to pick up in a week.
Nothing more.

I did the physical interview today. It was successful and I still don't know why I wasn't qualified for the Dropbox. All the same, It was approved and that is what matters.

The VO said I should get my passport latest in one week. I have a flight in exactly one week but it is evening so I will take my chances. Even if I get the passport in the morning, I can still fly same day.

Do not take the risk. Some get theirs in less than a week. Others 5 weeks. So circumstance differs. The best is to reschedule your appointment.

That will be Interview waiver.

Unless you are under administrative processing, they can't keep your passport after interview for 5 weeks.

My last visa, I actually got it in three days after interview. I just don't know the current estimate but five weeks is not possible.

1. No ! It is stipulated on the ulstratraveldoc webpage that once you submitted Passport for renewal that passport cannot be retrieved until final decision.

It is interview post IW.

Decision will be made that day. I am only saying that if the visa is approved after the interview on 6th August, is it possible for them to issue the visa and retrieve the passport within a week.

I just want to know the average time it takes people who recently succeeded with interview to get their passport back.

My flight is 6pm so even if the visa/ passport is ready on the 13th,I can still collect it in the morning and travel same day

I had a visa interview scheduled for 2nd August , now postponed to 6th August probably because of protest. Initially submitted IW in January but passport returned to book interview.


I have an official trip booked for 13th August. Assuming the visa is approved on the 6th August, is there any chance I can retrieve my passport before that date? ( Just one week apart)

You have never protested. No one expects you to protest in the first place. You are the one shouting that you won’t protest as if you have ever protested. During the military regime, it was always the Yorubas that were protesting against bad governance.
When Obasanjo was there, we protested. When ABACHA was there , we protested. Yoruba has always fought for good governance regardless of who is in power and we never expected you to join them anyway.
If ever Yorubas protest against Tinubu, they are protesting against what is happening, they are not saying the decision to elect Tinubu is wrong. OBI and ATIkU were far below Tinubu in terms of competence so it was an easy choice.
Igbos should rest .

Which protests are the Igbo people shouting up and down about? They litter everywhere with videos of normal people complaining and then claim they won’t protest. Just enjoy your so called billions and leave other tribes alone . This incessant attack on other tribes will keep them permanently at a distance from you. Even if you want your own country, you still need others to agree or you need to fight them in a war. Either way, you need them.

By the way, igbos have never fought for good governance. Only Yorubas have always done that. The most outspoken critic of Obasanjo were Yoruba people. The most outspoken people against ABACHA were Yoruba people. Yorubas championed NADECO. It has nothing to do with who is in governance, Yorubas always protest for good governance.

Stay at home on mondays and leave other tribe alone please. You are the one crying all over the internet and yet you claim you wont protest. Learn how to live with people.

Just listen to yourself. Yoruba always fought for good governance but now that they supported Buhari and protested during GEJ then they are bad. Did you protest the bad governance during Buhari era? Which protest did south east hold during Buhari era that they are saying they won’t protest now? When have you ever protested for good governance if not because your tribesman now contested the last time?

Aside GTBank, where else you can pay your F1 visa application is : Guarantee Trust Bank .

1. If you cannot find a nearby GT in your area or working place take UBER or cab or board public buses and find any other GTB.

2. You can ask friends or family to even help you to pay via GTB app. Its not compulsory you walk into a bank . I would rather you do the Walk -ins to any GTB.

1. I did not mention any name in my advice and my advice is totally different from the previous ones . Someone advised the OP to disregard the mistake after talking about (unecessary) his own business appointment in the USA.

2. You too have supported the same mistake by saying travel itinerary or dates is not important on DS 160.

3. Both of you have forgotten that the 1st thing the VO does on the interview day is to open your DS 160 and he or she is expecting stress -free information because you have less than 15 minutes . How will a responsible principal not correct the mistake he has realized on his dependents DS 160 ? This is why on the DS form they ask you ;. DID YOU FILL THIS FORM YOURSELF ? *** In order to hold you responsible for the outcome .

I heard somewhere before that follow up interview after Dropbox is on any Thursday. Is that still applicable?

I submitted drop box on 30th January.
Yesterday, the application portal is showing that my passport has been returned from consular processing.
I could no longer track the application as it is showing NO DATA RETURNED. The last time I checked it, it was showing application received. Now I can’t access it again.
Finally, I saw continue on the application portal and clicked on it, I saw interview dates in June, July, August

I guess I will need to go for physical interview based on this?

I am stressed because it means I have to wait and look for interview dates again… I saw June but didn’t choose it.
