iblawi: Counties are just administrative divisions in a state. A state can have many counties. Just like a state can have many local governments. For example, IKEJA can serve as one for Lagos as it is the administration capital of Lagos. That is more like a local government. In Nigeria we have 774 local government areas and they all have chairmen and others that administer them in different states.
The Kenyan don't know what they are saying, comparing themselves with Nigeria is a big mistake. Most of them don't even think before they talk. I understand, their 47 counties can not be compared to our 36 states and FCT lai lai, Not even close. We just have too many large states that we're trying to develop at the same pace which can not be possible. We are too decentralized which is also a reason for our huge recurrent expenditure. We don't know how its been done there, neither do they know how we run things here. I just leave them and their "imaginations". |

LightYagami: You say Kenya needs help, well well. Here is a list of of 20 African countries with debt, you are sitting pretty at number 09, Kenya s not on the list, tried to look for us and I havent seen, external debt btw http://www.africaranking.com/top-20-most-indebted-african-countries/4/
Kenyans living under poverty line is 40% you say, okay, at least we update our figures and dont hide stuff. Last time, 2010, Nigerias was updated 70% were living below poverty line, never have we been that shitty, even in 2010, http://www.indexmundi.com/nigeria/population_below_poverty_line.html
and this is from your vice president last year http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/08/over-1-million-nigerians-living-below-poverty-line-osinbajo/
ABUJA – Vice President Yemi Osinbajo Wednesday stated that about 110 million Nigerians were still living below poverty line despite the policies of past governments to improve their welfare. The Vice President however stated that the policy were wrongly formulated and as a result did not have direct impact on the people. The 110mill stats. Is a big fat lie he probably saw on the internet just like the 100mill to $1 report, He said that immediately after his party won the election probably to discredit the previous administration. Its not that there is no poverty in Nigeria but that figure is outrageous. |

iblawi: Am sure you are not OK. How did you come to that useless conclusion. Have you been there to see for yourself? You just spit rubbish to feel better.
You flow nothing better you are still below us in every way. Abuja alone have more malls than Nairobi.
You just foolishly claimed Nigerians don't shop in malls but you have just 3 million people in Nairobi out of over 45 million in kenya. So where is the remaining 42 million people shop in kenya.
Don't think you are talking to a fool like you.
https://www.unicef.org/kenya/overview_4616.html From this report 44 million Kenyan live below poverty line out of how many. You must be foolish to compare yourself with Nigerians.
This again shows more than 2/3 of Kenyans in Nairobi live in slums. So how do Kenyans shop in Malls. Ibla, the report says 42 percent of 44miila. That's like over 18million. |

LightYagami: Yes but Nairobi County is 692, the administrative area, after that Nairobi extend to other counties, Nairobi Metropolis, hope you know what metropolis is and many people live here, Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado, they come work or shop, then live the city There it is, well, I don't understand how you do your thing there but I guess its just like merging other counties around the Nairobi to form the metropolis. If one googles Nairobi it only brings up the 692, that's why I thought it's similar to ours. Lagos the smallest state but most populated, Niger, the biggest in size +95,000km°. They all have their level of urbanization and otherwise. |

Do you know I just discovered that Nairobi is just 696km2 and Kenya is as big as 581,309km2?
They have been posting pics of the same area from different corners.
Secondly, they have the second largest estate in Africa after Nigeria but gwarimpa still have over 1000 units more. So they have been posting rendered images of some not completed and the once completed within the small city. LOL!!! ..That's like showing only pictures of Lagos island. Nairobi a county in Kenya - 692km° ; Population - 3.5 mill. Ibadan, a city in OYO state, Nig.- 3,080km° - pop 3.5 mill... Its quite similar to our urban-land mass population, but I was expecting something bigger. Nairobi + mombasa = 1000km° |

iblawi: If we can have over 100,000,000 people who actively subscribe for Internet service monthly plus over 140 million people who actively use mobile phones then I see no reason why you should see him as sensible person.
We are far far ahead of that statistics. Only 35% of Nigerian are poor but that is still a huge number.
China still have over 600 million poor people which is more than three times the size of Nigeria's population. I swear the dude is crazy, I though I was the only one not grasping the $1 to 100m thing, I had to go outside and ask people.#400 to 100m in this inflation. I'm not even bothered about his ignorance. (I don't know much about Kenya, i hardly argue). Its the way he's comfortably boasting in his idiocy that is annoying me. KenyaMan111: Poverty has risen in Nigeria, with almost 100 million people living on less than a $1 (£0.63) a day, despite economic growth, statistics have shown.
Unsurprisingly the numbers are still rising. I thought Nigeria might've finally slipped into degeneracy. In all seriousness, if it gets really bad there. We Kenyans are more than happy to set up a UN-Nigeria food delivery. There is poverty in Nigeria, almost 100million is an exaggeration, various factors constitute to it such as inequality, corruption, different standard of living but I owe you no explanation because you're stucked to your delusional imaginations and that's the most you can know..... @your UNN sarcasm, poverty is definitely not all about food, Kenya can NOT even be a recourse talk less of last. MPSA: South African ''Makoko''; Port alfred Makoko is a slum situated on the Lagos Lagoon, its residents are majorly involved in fishing, its their major source of living. So many times, the government has demolished, given notice of eviction even offered alternative location but they refused, most of its residents are from neighboring west African countries and they've adopted the place to be their own. I hope our government finds an alternate solution to restructuring Makoko. Hey, I told you we were going to whoop your ass... but banana girls tried sha.
