Lagos and all naija towns are mishmash of slums and posh area. Big difference. You entire town can be described as slum. Nairobi has some slums.

When lagos or naija towns start doing serious zoning - then you can speak here - every part of Nairobi is zonned and your plan has to be approved -

And not all Kenyans are black, there are other races here too, so, those Indians are KEnyan
When I was in primary school I was taught KEnya has the following language groups
1. Bantu(Kikuyu, Kamba, Taita, Swahili etc)
2. Nilotes(Luo, Masai, Kalenjin etc)
3. Cushites(Somalis, Oromos, Rendilles etc
4 Semitic(though very few, there are some Arabs mainly from Yemen)
Those groups have been in Kenya for centuries. So if you see a Somali guy in Kenya he is probably a native though some come from Somalia and are naturalised citizens
5. Indians. The British brought them to Kenya as railway workers, late 1800s, some never left. And those Indians you see are, Kenyan Asians, not Indian citizens.
6. Whites. Most are from the colonial stock who never left the country, they have kenyan citizenship. Then there are a few former Zimbabwe whites settled here. Then there are some Italians, mainly in MAlindi, some town which also has a nickname(Little Italy)
Or you believe you must be black to be African?? The French national team is full of Black Frenchmen. Same case here, we have blacks, asians etc

Very true.... most Nigerians believe the bigger the structure or fancy aspects then it is efficient. As we all know Nigeria has one of the worst maintenance culture in Africa, let alone the inefficiency & ineptness of its authorities. Huge airport structures with corrupt immigration staff that manhandle travelers at airport launches doesn't make Nigeria look good in our eyes. Huge bridges but full of toll stations & traffic gridlock means nothing if it doesn't improve mobility within your cities.
The reason why the initial post was put up by an actual Nigerian is reason enough to prove to fellow Nigerians that their country is lagging in many aspects.

Sincerely, Kenya can't be compared to Lagos not to talk of Nigeria.

The biggest project in Kenya since independence is 400km railway project from Mombasa to Nairobi and they are comparing themselves with Nigeria.

Lagos state government is carrying out bigger project than that without making noise.

Am tired of this thread already because Kenyans have nothing to bring to the table.

Ghanaians would have done better.

-According to the Kenya Roads Board, Kenya has 160,886 kilometres of roads. 13,900 kilometres of this are tarmacked.

Conclusion is while Nigeria is 2 times the size of Kenya, Kenya has a wider coverage of tarmacked roads than Nigeria by 2015. Kenya is in the process of finishing 8000 km of tarmacked roads by 2017 to its existing 13,900km to make it 22,000km. Nigerias ratio of tarmacked roads to countries size compared to kenya falls short to 1:100. KENYA TAKES THE CROWN IN ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE.

Yes, but this year is not as cold as last year. I just arrived Abuja from Bauchi today. The weather is not really harsh like it use to be. But Yola will be extremely hot by February/ March I just pray you are not posted there.
