bossladyMo: He he he! Yesooo. Many mothers make that mistake. In fact, I used to wash my son's hair 2x a day. By the time he was 4m, it was so dry...but luckily we cut it off at a year...as per baby boy.
Get a conditioner instead. I started conditioning my daughter's hair from 3weeks. And before then I only washed it with shampoo once ( apart from the hospital bathing by the nurses). Her hair is so deep curled and springy...over shrinkage dey worry am sef lol. Ok, thanx for the tip |

NoQualms1: I'm going to quote my matron verbatim - "she may run temperature after taking the injections, just give her paracetamol immediately you get home, it will go down in maximum of 48hours. If the place swells up, don't touch it. It will go down by itself"
That's all I've ever done and I've never had problems with immunizations. Each time I go for it, I always end up giving her paracetamol only twice and the fever disappeared in less than 24 hours. Take care. tchiwinnie: Just gv d patacetamol, dont touch d swelling. It ll go down wt tym. It might stay for up to 1-2wks o, bt just b patient, it ll go down. (Talking frm experience) Kimoni: Pls see the Dr immediately, most likely an infection since there is a high temperature. Thank u all so Much. Also read online dt d high temp is a result of the vaccine. He's stable now and the thigh isn't as sensitive as yesterday. Thank u |

Kimoni: If the place is not swollen, give paracetamol for 2 days more and if it persist, you can complain to the doctor but he should be fine. Ok, thanks a million. The place is swollen and his temp is high |

esteria: Yes u can't do hot water massage cos of both internal nd external stitches. I'm still trying to get my tummy down after 5months but I can attest to post partum girdle, it works like magic but only if u r DETERMINED to be wearing it 24/7. I got tired of wearing it (especially at midnite wen I hv to b waking up at almost every hour to breastfeed) nd my tummy became big again. But u hv to heal up internally 1st b4 u can wear it, say 8wks. Pls don't tie d tummy!
Well I took all those dry gin nd co but it didn't work for me, it might work for u, u can gv it a try.
As per sex, I'm not living wit my hubby so I cant ans on dat.
Hp dat ans ur question. Is post-partum girdle different from the regular corset? |

bossladyMo: Okk. Just take your baby into the bathroom wuth you. Take a chair or stool along. Open the tap and let the hot water run, thereby sreleasing steam in the bathroom. Sit down in the bathroom for about 10-15mins.
The steam in the bathroom should decongest his airways. TX I appreciate |

bossladyMo: Pls no. Mentholatum is too strong for his/her age.
Congestion at this age is quite common. It will clear up as they feed more....especially as there is no catarrh.
Do you have a shower with hot water running through? Bless you. Yes at hot shower |

MiracleMum: I was also told not to do hot water massage and I didn't. But I took hot water which am still taking. I also took spicy food with Uda. My tummy has reduced reasonably but not as it was before pregnancy. I want to buy a post partum tummy belt to complete the reduction. As for sex, av not resumed oh. Until I think of a good family planning to do, no sex for now. Ok, tx. As per family planning am actually thinking of implanon as am nt thinking of getting pregnant anytime soon but was advised against it cos this is my first child. They said mini-pill is best cos d effect is easily reversible. Unfortunately for me they don't do family planning at the hospital am using so I have no doc to ask for advice except the nurses around me. |

TX for the response, esteria and miraclemum. *Learnt I can't do hot-water massage cos of d internal injury, how do I get my tummy down, some people advised that I should take dry gin n eat lots of spicy stuff, drink hot water. *, I was told I can wear girdle or tie d tummy with cloth.
Are all these true? Did u try any of d methods and did it work or what worked for ur tummy? Am 4 wks post CS and I can't see a difference in my tummy size. *Also, how many months did it take to resume sex. Tx |
