I've made up my mind to do a tummy tuck to repair mine, pushups & weighted squats & lunges can bring about major improvements but it won't close the gap...

No mind my tecnical speak, diastasis recti is seperation of the rectus abdominus; the muscles that run from under the b.reast to the pubic area.. the function is to act as a kind of girdle to hold the internal organs from flopping around & also protect them

Waist trainers can't do much for such people.

I guess it depends on d kind of diaper. My son uses pampers swaddlers size 4 with 144 in a carton. He uses maximum of 3 a day that's only if he poops during d day or over drinks water. Otherwise he uses 2 daily because it's 12hours protection. D diaper absorbs d urine so well that one would wonder how many times he actually urinated.

Goin by my calculations he uses one carton in 6-8weeks. He has never had diaper rash. I use blue seal vaseline as d protective cream on his butt.

Base is beeswax (it acts as a barrier so keeps moisture out). Then add coconut oil, Shea butter, Olive oil and then add whatever ingredients you like. Some people like a few drops of lavender essential oil or other healing oil. I'll post pics in a bit

Please that Sebamed shampoo is not for babies o. That is for adults. Let me post mine, bought at Healthplus Pharma. This is the only Sebamed product I have, I prefer using olive and coconut oil and mixing my own diaper cream because of this wahala (though I use The Honest Company Healing ointment as diaper cream and I love it, it can be mixed easily).

Shndy follow the two advices above except for the striken out part (sorry kimoni). He DOES NOT want to hear anything concerning the baby or your pregnancy now. Mentioning it to make him feel guilty or whatever will backfire very very badly.

Your can wear 24/7 depending on your comfort level but I wore mine for 8hours or more everyday

Able mamas has anyone here used BELLEFIT postpartum girdle?
I used it & my belly is back to its pre pregnancy state ( I can't post pictures o!, but wish I could) just thought I should share.
They have girdles For both CS and Vag delivery mamas.
It's a bit pricy but worth every cent I spent.
Tying the belly is a must for every mom and I wish I did after my first but glad I did this time...

My 2 cents. Pregnant women with diastasis recti are not treated until after delivery and not every woman has complete resolution. Any major intervention done now may fail because the growing uterus will always exert pressure on your lax abdomen. Postpartum you may need to see a physiotherapist for abdominal reconditioning. Don't just do any form of exercise you see on the internet because they can increase the tension on your abdomen and worsen the condition.
Surgery is also an option, but it is also done post-partum.
