Foreign Affairs › Russia Earned $100b In Energy Exports In 100days,how Much Do They Make Yearly by shogsman(op): 11:42am On Jun 22, 2022
Russia has earned a likely record $97 billion in revenue from fossil fuel exports in the first 100 days of its war in Ukraine despite heavy sanctions and Europe’s attempts to wean itself off of Russian energy, researchers said this week.
https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2022/06/14/russia-earned-100b-in-energy-exports-in-100-days-of-war-research-a77990
“Russia’s export revenues have been falling since March, but remain record-high” due to soaring energy prices, the Helsinki-based Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air said Sunday.

Increase in fossil demand has created a windfall: Russia’s average export prices were an average 60% higher than last year” even with a 30% discount below international market prices, CREA said.

According to its analysis, Russia earned 93 billion euros ($97 billion) in energy revenue between when Russian troops rolled into Ukraine on Feb. 24 and the 100-day mark of the war on June 3.

NOTE -The original amount could be a lot more than that.
It is expected that Russia will make around $430b from energy exports this year alone which only accounts for around 40% of the Country's exports , it's other exports include gold, plastics, rubber , fertilizer, Wood, machinery, technology, ores coals, fertilizer, diamonds, uranium etc which makes up to 60% of it's exports.

So in 2022 RUSSIA COULD MAKE UP TO $1.1t from it's exports.that is over 600 trillion naira.
Mind you we didn't add yearly tax which could be up to $1t yearly as Russia charges a very low 13% tax on it's citizens.
So Thier Russia's government combined revenue could be around $2t yearly

Foreign Affairs › Aeroflot Preparing To Order Up To 300 Russian Aircraft by shogsman(op): 10:18am On Jun 14, 2022
Russia's largest airline is looking to purchase several hundred domestically produced aircraft. The Aeroflot group is already the largest operator of Russian-made jetliners and recently announced plans to raise 185.2 billion roubles ($3 billion) in an emergency share issue.

Sources from the airline, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, indicated that Aeroflot is looking to place a 300-strong order with Russian-owned United Aircraft Corporation. The news comes as Russian carriers increasingly struggle to find parts for Airbus and Boeing aircraft in the country.

Aeroflot is reportedly looking to purchase the upcoming Irkut MC-21 medium-range aircraft jet, which will carry more than 200 passengers when it enters service later this year. The aircraft was initially scheduled to enter service in 2016 but has faced a series of setbacks.

Most recently, ongoing sanctions have required Russia to produce homegrown composite materials, develop radio and intercom equipment, and shift all focus to domestically produced parts and materials, including sourcing new engines for the upcoming line.

The initially scheduled production version MC-21-300 was due to be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines. However, in April, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov announced that the new Russian narrowbody flagship project would continue with only the homegrown engine option.

The move means Rossiya Airlines and other carriers must now wait for the MC-21-310, powered by the homegrown Aviadvigatel PD-14, built by the United Engine Corporation (UEC).

Foreign Affairs › Russia Controls 70% Of Severodoneskt As Over 500 Ukraine Forces Trapped In Azo by shogsman(op): 10:34am On Jun 13, 2022
Russia now controls 70% of severodoneskt according to ukraine, while some Russian media outlets claims Russia controls 90% of the town.
Over 500 Ukrainian troops are currently trapped at the AZOT plant too, with over 500 civilians including children as well, there are major concerns that Ukraine might be using civilians as human shields yet again like they did in Azostal plant that led to the evacuation of almost 3000 Azov battalion members.

The bridge connecting severodoneskt and lisichansk has also been destroyed by Russia leaving two options for the ukraine armed forces, SURRENDER OR SWIM

Foreign Affairs › Re: Zelenskyy says Russia Suffers 32,050 Dead soldiers in combat since war started by shogsman(m): 5:40pm On Jun 12, 2022
Zelenskyy:
President Zelenskyy said fierce street battles were continuing in Severodonetsk and he was proud of the Ukrainian defenders who for weeks have held back a Russian advance.

He said the Russians have suffered heavy losses since the war began on February 24.

The President said ;

“Do you remember how Russia hoped to capture the entire Donbas by early May ? It is now the 108th day of the war… Donbas is holding on.

The losses suffered by the occupiers, including in this area, are extremely significant. In total, the Russian army today has about 32,050 dead souls. For what ? What did it get you Russia ?”

As the invading Russian Army continues to destroy Ukrainian cities and towns, the war-torn country's Armed Forces also confirmed that it has killed over 32,050 Russian soldiers since the conflict began in late February.

According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian army has suffered the loss of 1,419 tanks, 3,466 armoured combat vehicles, and 712 artillery systems.

Further, over the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has liquidated 39 Russian invaders and destroyed nearly 11 military equipment units in the southern direction, as per the Operational Command South.

Apart from this, the aggressors lost over 222 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 97 anti-aircraft warfare, 212 warplanes, 178 helicopters, 2,484 vehicles and fuel tankers, 13 ships or boats, 579 unmanned aerial vehicles, 54 special units, and 125 cruise missiles between the period of February 24 and June 11, Kyiv Independent reported.

Russian losses in war

Furthermore, Operational Command South said in a statement, 'Having no success in advancing on land, the enemy is testing our position's defences by helicopter strikes from the air.

In response, our Mi-8 struck at an enemy group in the Kherson region, and our Su-27 ' at the ammunition depot and the accumulation of enemy hardware in Mykolayiv region,' as cited by Ukinform.

It also added, 'While exploring the route of advance into the occupied Kherson region, our reconnaissance group destroyed a unit of Russian paratroopers, seizing their weapons and communication means".

In addition to this, over the course of the day, Ukrainian forces killed 39 Russian soldiers and destroyed 11 units of equipment, which includes a T-62 tank, four armoured vehicles, three trucks, a Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system, and two Msta-B howitzers.

As per the Ukrinform report, the Davydov Brid area's field munitions storage was also struck. Anti-aircraft missile units have already shot down 500 hostile targets, according to reports.

Apart from Russian soldiers' casualties, Ukraine has also suffered losses since Moscow invaded the country, and it is currently paying a high price.

According to Olesky Arestovych, the advisor to the embattled Ukrainian President, as many as 100 soldiers were slain every day in the early days of the battle. According to NEXTA, he predicted that 10,000 Ukrainians were killed in the war's first 100 days.

As the Russia-Ukraine war enters its fourth month, authorities in Kyiv are concerned with the fact that "war fatigue" could weaken the West's willingness to assist the country in rebuffing Moscow's attack.

As per media reports, he said, 'The fatigue is growing, people want some kind of outcome (that is beneficial) for themselves, and we want (another) outcome for ourselves'.

Foreign Affairs › Biden Says 'putin's Tax On Both Food And Gas' Is To Blame For Record-inflation by shogsman(op): 10:34am On Jun 11, 2022
President Biden said the United States "has never seen anything like Putin’s tax on both food and gas," after the Labor Department announced Friday that inflation hit a new four-decade high in May.

The Labor Department said Friday that the consumer price index, a broad measure of the price for everyday goods, including gasoline, groceries and rent, rose 8.6% in May from a year ago. Prices jumped 1% in the one-month period from April. Those figures were both higher than the 8.3% headline figure and 0.7% monthly gain forecast by Refinitiv economists.President Biden said the United States "has never seen anything like Putin’s tax on both food and gas," after the Labor Department announced Friday that inflation hit a new four-decade high in May.

The Labor Department said Friday that the consumer price index, a broad measure of the price for everyday goods, including gasoline, groceries and rent, rose 8.6% in May from a year ago. Prices jumped 1% in the one-month period from April. Those figures were both higher than the 8.3% headline figure and 0.7% monthly gain forecast by Refinitiv economists.

It marks the fastest pace of inflation since December 1981.

The president, from the Port of Los Angeles Friday, said fighting inflation is his "top economic priority," while, again, casting blame on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine for the surge in prices.

"Today I'd like to speak about my top economic priority, fighting inflation," Biden said. "I understand Americans are anxious and they're anxious."

"We’ve never seen anything like Putin’s tax on both food and gas," Biden said.

The president said America "can tackle inflation from a position of strength, unlike any other country in the world," saying that every other country in the world "is getting a big bite and a piece of inflation—worse than we are, in the vast majority of countries around the world."

"But make no mistake about it, I understand inflation is a real challenge for American families," Biden said.

"Today’s inflation report confirm what America's already know—Putin’s price hike is hitting America hard," Biden said. "Gas prices at the pump, energy and food prices account for half of the monthly price increases since May."

Biden said his administration "could continue everything we can to lower the prices for the American people," but said it is "Congress" that "has to act."

"I'm doing everything in my power to blunt Putin's price hike and bring down the cost of gas and food," Biden said, touting his administration’s move to coordinate the release of global oil reserves to "boost supply" and to "keep prices from rising even more."

The president said his administration is continuing to work to bring down the cost of food and gas and "save families more money."

Russia has once again cemented it's place as the super power of the world it is known as.
Whatever you think of Thier invasion of Ukraine is seconded to the pure fact that Russia has withstand the most brutal sanctions and hostility from the west in a 100years.
Tweeter and other social media was ripe with declarations from the west on how Russia is going to suffer and Thier currency becomes practically useless with them losing out of the international market scene.
Some even said Russia will be bankrupt in one month.
But the west made a miscalculation, they overestimated Thier importance and relevance around the world and most especially to Russia.

Fast forward to today the west is in an energy crisis with gas and petrol hitting the highest price they've seen, they're running out of baby formulas and grains while Russia's economy is significantly booming with Russia pumping and selling more gas than before the war.
The Russian currency became the highest performing currency in the world with astronomical gains over the dollar and euro.
The petrol dollar is on the way out as Russia now sells it's energy in rubles, with countries like Iran, Saudi, Venezuela etc working on doing the same.

As of today Russia makes $1.5b daily from gas to Europe alone.
Trade between Russia and china has astronomically increased by over 800%.
With Russia and china edging closer and closer as the day goes by.

Russia is the definition of TOO BIG TO FAIL
