He was definitely not poor before he became Governor. Had huge well-known investment in Fidelity Bank and The Next Group was(still is) a successful busines empire. He is frugal or even stingy with personal and government funds. You can't point to his big houses in Lagos and Abuja. He stays mostly in hotels and you see him regularly in simple commercial flights.

While it truly shows the people preference for rejecting APC in Kaduna state, I will still praise the governor for making it possible for the will of the people to prevail. In most states, governors massively rig to ensure all LG chairmen belong to their party so they have full control of LG funds.

“Second, and beyond the external position, the current administration has consistently avoided much-needed structural reforms, which has resulted in a notable deterioration in its macro prospects. These include rising fuel subsidies, low non-oil revenues, deteriorating security conditions, and an unconventional monetary policy fixated around FX stability. Resolving the FX situation is therefore only one step of many needed to boost Nigeria’s economic growth prospects,” Basha says in the report

Go to the official Cbn website, all Official rates are there for easy reference within the stated period.
He did not lie. And he is talking about exchange rate management. Not corruption, which for some of us is high during the military rule, was high during the PDP days, and still very much high so far under APC.
CBN governors will only talk about official rates, not the street/parallel rate.
How much was it during sanusi tenure? And was sanusi not largely independent on foreign exchange management? Of course, foreign investors see clearly that Meffy is largely dependent for political reasons.

If you are using this as an academic bases, then its dead on arrival. Messi has won many competitions outside Barcelona with Argentina, and in most of those competitions he won the MVP award. So its unbelievable to accept 'No Barcelona, No Messi'. theory.

Enter any gtb or access bank or fidelity Bank or fcmb branch around that Eko hotel vi axis and ask the security guys or customer care to help you with an aboki that deals with their customers. It's same rate for 100 and 50 dollars bills. Only bills lower than 50 usd such as 5/10 etc that are priced lower.
