Yes Bro
But please erase the thought of pharmacist being selfish, even in hospitals here, majority don't have pharmacist dispensing drugs, they just employ anyhow person to do that so the pay won't be much maybe 20k , its only in big federal establishment you would find pharmacists mainly.
The laws governing control of drugs that is sale, manufacture, distribution etc is solely designated to pharmacists, you know why ,?
Because so that they can be regulated easily, they have a body (pharmacists council of nigeria) every pharmacist with his/her practising license. (As professionals) pharmacologists are not in a professional image hence cannot be assigned and they are many hence would further increase the chaotic drug distribution system we are fighting. The training Pharmacologists have in this country cannot enable them charge over drugs, there are many deep things underneath, I wouldn't go on to start mentioning various course outlines but the truth is that some courses like pharmacology ought not to be in a not yet developed country like Nigeria . its only lecturing, research you can do with your degree. pharmacists are not having the good jobs on a platter of gold as you may think, the hustle is real as pharmacists are increasing in number, there are about 24 pharmacy schools in nigeria, meaning pharmacists ratio would increase and there is no solution to your plight in sight. You get me? You can Go back for direct entry if you so like to handle drugs.
HammedOlanaija:

Bro that's the problem and this is just a small push up to change what the country think about it.And you seem to be the only sensible person I ever met on this site....Thanks for comprehendingI recently talked with a pharmacologist in egypt jst yesterday oo.And this dude told me he is in hospital pharmacy dispensing drugs to patients.I was really dumb for a moment because my own country nigeria have this pple who want to control the whole system due to their selfishness

It is what it is.
Because of the Nigerian factor
If it had been in a developed country where every course has a role, you would not be complaining.
Even professionals are having a quite hard time fixing themselves into the society here. So its not that really easy for us too.

I thought as much
What about loud,.. Is it also synthetic?
What pure dope can one smoke, normal weed doesn't get me high again
MMElliot:
Random browsing brought me here, but let me put in my 2 cents.

I stopped Arizona/Marley last year because those things aren't 100% cannabis. That's why they get you high when chewed/swallowed. Try eating loud. Just bone the price and eat it like that, you won't feel shi. Also. Go and do a Drug test on yourself (if you only take weed and not other drugs), and more than THC will show up. All this AZ and Marley is just placed over mdma steam to make it more intense. You think it's strong kush but it's not. In fact, when you stick to only loud, you'll get more productive and be in control the more. Dealers won't tell you this.

OP. If you don't love your bf the way he is, leave him. True stoners can only change from personal experience. Not a pastor, prophet or rehab will change him. He'll have to get tired on his own. The withdrawals he's getting from the few hours of not smoking will soon annoy him, if it's not already.

Try telling him to go on a tolerance break. Two weeks. It'll be hard for a daily smoker, but use the fact that he'll feel more from less hits to encourage him. Trying to make him stop for good is not the option. Even if he doesn't reach two weeks. As long as it's at least 2 days it's okay, it'll increase gradually. Complete control comes from regular T breaks.

It took over a year for me to finally be able to smoke only occasionally. It's been about a month so far for me, and before then, it was just two days I smoked, because I wanted to chill. If you really care for him, you'll find out why he smokes. KNOW him. If truly it's hindering his progress, you'll know when you KNOW him. For some, it's productive, for some it stops being productive and just becomes something they can't stop. KNOW which it is. Don't let stigma affect your opinions. Research it yourself also.

Ok
I get
Success though in your quest
TheNewDoctor:

It's very simple really. I never planned on practicing in Ukraine, and I studied in English. There was no incentive to learn Russian beyond an intermediate level, and to actually practice in a country, I think excellent grasp of the language should be number one, and to be blunt, the pay is horrible there.
Also, just like Nigerian med graduates, we too aspire to go to the UK, US, etc. So we come back, do our housemanship just like you guys, and then start our journey. We don't actually spend any extra time, we just have to pass an exam.
Lastly and most importantly, this is my home. I have to be able to practice at home before thinking of going anywhere else. The ultimate backup if you will.
Education / Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by shollish(m): 3:16pm On Jan 05, 2020
Sorry o
But I want to ask why Ukraine graduates normally come back to Nigeria to induct into MDCN
Why don't you guys practice over there? Or even move to better countries around
TheNewDoctor:
Hello everyone.
I am a medical graduate from Ukraine, and I found this forum some months ago in my final year of medical school.
I've silently been reading a lot of posts in my free time, specifically about foreign graduates. I've read all types of comments all the way from unwarranted praise, indifference, valid criticism, all the way down to downright disrespectful and hateful comments about foreign graduates. Some of the stuff said here almost got to me, especially as I was preparing to write the MDCN exam for the first time.
About a week from the exam date, I got a wave of self doubt, I remembered some of those posts, I even started believing them. But then I talked to my sister, and she helped me set my mind right. I was able to overcome it, and passed the exam on my first attempt.
Now as I'm waiting to be inducted and the subsequent Housejob, I've already started seeing the negative posts about foreign trained house officers. This time though, my mindset is different. Instead of focusing on the negative things people are saying, I've chosen to ignore them altogether and focus on working hard to be the best doctor I can possibly be.
Since I got my exam result, I've taken a one week break, and have been shadowing the doctors at a private hospital. I've observed clinical procedures and surgeries, and they've slowly started letting me do them by myself. Next up will be assisting in a surgery.
I feel like I'm in the right track, but I need to ask for advice from people that'll know more. What should I expect (in detail if possible) from housemanship in Nigeria? Is there something else I should be doing now to be more prepared for when I eventually start the housejob? If you've worked with house officers that were trained outside, what would you say are their major issues? What valid criticism can you offer to help me be better prepared?
Thank you everyone, and happy Sunday!

If its possible, revisit the previous doctor that prescribed the drug.
If not, make sure the pharmacy is a reliable and trusted one, pharmacists are good also.
By the way, was the initially prescribed drug just cough syrup?
If it is infection related, I.e pneumonia , antibiotic suspension will be needed
Either way.
Allansmith:
Good Afternoon Mummy's in the house, please my 6months plus baby is coughing and wife took her to the health centre and she did a test and the doctor on duty said she has possible traces of infection and gave a drug and the cough still has not stopped and wife just called now to say she took her to the pharmacy and the pharmacist is saying we get another drug with isn't convenient for me at the moment....

Can mother's in here please advice what to do..she is coughing and she's just 6 months and about 2weeks old....I hope to get a response soon.... Thanks in anticipation of your responses

You no just get sense
Be enlightened and stop disgracing your family
0monnak0da:

Are you alright I agreed with you that pharmacists are in charge of anything? When and where?

Guy the primary people involved in drug development have been chemists ,biochemists, doctors who have also been pharmacologists

Drug manufacture is more a pharmacology function and often pharmacologists are doctors
Friedrich Sertürner was a chemist

Now drugs have gone beyond chemistry to involve immunology, genetics and biological agents. This is way beyond the knowledge of pharmacists
Many HODs in Pharmacology in Nigeria are doctors

I don't know why you guys enjoy celebrating fake news

Check nominal GDP , although the list are just 22 states released by NBS, the remaining states will be out in phase 3, Lagos, Abia, Enugu and others, from the list published check industry section, minus oil producing states like Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Ondo State , Osun is the least industrialized state even Ebonyi, Gombe and Zamfara are more industrialized than Osun

Anambra is leading state in indigenous industries in Nigeria, behind Ogun, Ogun enjoy Lagos spill over, majority of the industries are owned by foreigners
