People are safe in markets, offices and other public places but the same people are NOT SAVE in churches and mosques. This logic is beyond me. |
Worship centres are open, market is also open. My question is, is corona a respectal of this places? Our schools need to be open with strict guidelines. See people protesting all over the world, without social distance and they're not dropping dead. What's the magic? Has corona suddenly disappeared? How long can we wait for this Corona virus Pandemic to end? The answer is NO. Corona virus has come to stay it'll later be treated like malaria fever so I see governor Ayade decision as best decision ever and soon all other State will emulate it......Ride on Mr gov God gat your back |

I NEED SINCERE ANSWERS PLEASE. You are a youth leader in a church. One Sunday morning, before the arrival of the pastor, a stranger finds you in the temple and gives you a carton of indomie for the pastor and a sum of #20,000 for yourself. When the pastor arrived and you updated him, he refused to believe you. He says it is inconceivable that someone will donate a simple carton of indomie to him the pastor, and that he gives you #20,000. So he collects the #20,000 and gives you the indomie. Once at home, you unpack the package and realize that it does not contain indomie but rather a well-counted sum of a million dollars. *What will you do ️* |

#TEARS WHAT A SAD NEWS , imagine the video #hummmmmm shola is the one driving in the picture and Sunday at the back with d wife to be...... Bro James Olushola Abimbola a bassist at Igando Dist , Ikotun Area.. A father of a year and a month old girl. (in the picture there you see the wife and the daughter) Bro Sunday Olowlabi, set instruments for Idowu Egba Assembly under Powerline Dist, Ikotun Area. Choir Members of The #Apostolic Church Nigeria and a Lagos Comedian Mistaken for Badoo Boys, They were Lynched on Saturday by Ikorodu Vigilante . This is a young chap by name shola. He is one of the 3 guys that were recently lynched in the wake of the ongoing badoo crisis in Ikorodu, I spare you the horror of seeing the horrific pictures and sadly even video of their killing. He is a member of The Apostolic Church Ikotun Area and Igando district, a dedicated member of the choir and a mechanic. He was even at the last easter youth convocation where he drove youths in his district in a bus to the convocation. He is a mechanic to an upcoming comedian who went to a show last sturday night and whose car broke down in Ikorodu at night. This comedian called him and his teo other mechanic friends for help and they were on their way in a Honda CRV with their equipment, including a stone with which they intended to shock the tyres of the faulty car. It was on the way that some youths and vigilantes who were keeping vigil accosted them and interrogated them. According to peoples' accounts, their story didnt sound plausible to their captors upon which they searched their car and found a big stone, which is reported that badoo gang members use to smash peoples' heads. A police patrol team even tried to come rescue them, but the angry youths weren't having any of that. In short, they were beaten and finally led back into their car where they were all burnt alive, including the comedian. This is just so we can be very careful, warn all our family and friends about their movements, especially around Ikorodu area. This is also to help us see the dangers in jungle justice and make the authorities and advocacy groups hear about this, so something appropriate can be done. It is also a call for serious prayers in a society with failing security apparatus, Nigeria is just too big for our police, maybe a strong case can be made for state police, well, that's another argument entirely. But its so sad that young lives can be so cheaply lost! Nigerians why cant we stop putin laws into our hands....#sad They are members of TACN IKOTUN AREA, Bro shola Igando Dist , Bro Sunday Powerline. Bro shola .. May there souls rest in peace.. say no to jungle Justice

LASU Places Fine For Late Collection Of Certificate The Lagos State University (LASU) said on Friday that 24, 734 certificates of graduates who left the institution over the last 10 years were lying uncollected at its registry. Mr Adekoya Martins, Acting Head, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relation, LASU, told news men that the certificates were for students who graduated with diplomas and degrees. Martins said that the university, following the backlog of uncollected certificates, had decided that affected graduates who fail to collect theirs before Oct. 21 would have to pay N 15,000 before doing so. “Before you know it, some the graduates of the university will be clamouring that LASU is withholding their certificates. “Now that the certificates have been signed and released for collection, only a few are coming for it. “Collection of certificates commenced on Sept. 26 and it will end on Oct.21. “Payment for late collection after the stipulated period of four weeks, after Friday Oct. 21, is N15, 000 only,’’ he said. The university, in its official bulletin, had said the certificates were available for collection at the Certificate Unit of the Exams and Records in its Registry. The university, in the bulletin, gave a breakdown of the certificates and the faculties that were affected. It urged graduates to visit the university website – www.lasu.edu.ng – for further information on the procedure for collection of certificates and confirmation of the list of issued certificates. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday announced the release of its guidelines for admission process this year. The announcement followed a week of meeting with universities and other tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Announcing the guidelines on its website, the board said that the modalities was going to be based on point system. The board, which explained how the admission process would work for JAMB candidates and direct entry students, also stated that universities were going to charge fees for screening of candidates at the end of the process for admission. According to the board, the new method uses a point system, which is divided into other processes, that is easy to understand. For instance, it noted among others: “Before a candidate can be considered for screening, he/she must have been given provisional admission by JAMB. The JAMB admission checker portal is going to be opened soon for this process, so praying is all you can do now,” the statement on JAMB’s website said. The second process, the board said, was the point system where admission would depend on the point tally of the candidate. “JAMB’s provisional admission no longer makes much sense this year, your points tally will decide your faith. “The points are evenly spread out between your O’level and JAMB results to provide a level playing field for all. “In the first case, any candidate who submits only one result which contains his/her relevant subjects already has 10 points, the exam could be NECO, WAEC, GCE etc, but any candidate who has 2 sittings only gets 2 points. So this means that aspirants with only one result are at an advantage but only just,” the statement said. The board explained that the next point grades fell into the O’level grades where each grade has it’s equivalent point; A=6 marks, B=4 marks, C=3 marks, so the better the candidates’ grades, the better his or her chances of securing admission this year. The next point is the UTME scores where each score range has its equivalent point which can be summarized thus, 180-200=20-23 marks, 200-250=24-33 points, 251-300=34-43, 300-400=44-60 points. Giving a breakdown, JAMB explained that each categories contains five JAMB results per point added. For example a candidate with 180-185 gets 20 points, a candidate with 186-190 gets 21 points etc, adding that points system for direct entry will be released soon. The board stated that fees would still be charged for screening which has replaced the Post UTME. “It then comes down to the fact that fees will still be charged for screening, it depends on the school as well,” the statement said. It also disclosed that catchment and ELDS will still be used! “Merit contains 45% of the total candidates for a particular course, Catchment contains 35% and ELDS and staff lists contains the rest. “Cut off marks will be released by schools this year in the form of points and not marks. If a school declares it’s cut off mark for Medicine as 90 points and JAMB grants a candidate with 250 a provisional admission but his/her total points falls short of the 90 points, then he/she will lose the admission. So the provisional admission is just a means to an end, not the end in itself,” the statement added. http://www.nigerianeye.com/2016/07/jamb-releases-guidelines-for-admission.html?m=1

DID YOU KNOW? Legend of Faith: Benson Idahosa 1. Benson Idahosa got born again in the Assembles of God in January 1960? 2. Benson was excommunicated from the Assemblies of God Church by his pastor (Pastor Oko) for buying a motorbike? (at that time, only bicycles were considered proper for believers and a motorbike was considered extravagant and worldly). 3. A few months later, Pastor Oko's wife was pregnant and had to be taken to the hospital on Benson's motorbike and that was when the pastor accepted him back into the church? 4. Benson Idahosa was the first pastor in Nigeria to buy and use a Mercedes Benz and he was criticized for that by a lot of ministers especially from the orthodox churches for being 'worldly'? 5. Idahosa was the first minister in Nigeria to preach on. The radio and show a Christian program on Television. It was considered wasteful and a show-off by both Christians and non-christians. 6. Benson was the first pastor to start a ministry and go on evangelism from Nigeria to other countries. 7. Idahosa travelled to about 145 countries to preach mostly without being invited but just to preach the gospel? 8. Benson preached until his death to more whites than any black man and to more blacks than any white man? 9. In his lifetime, he raised 14 dead people? 10. He introduced the use of 'agbada' (big traditional garb or clothing commonly used in traditional parlance for ceremonies etc or by Royalty)to preach and he was highly condemned for that? 11. Before Benson Idahosa, people often linked poverty to the church 'as poor as a church rat'. After Idahosa, people now link the church among the wealthiest institutions? 12. Idahosa was the first Nigerian to suggest the idea of a private university in 1979 (He said God told him) and today, we have Benson Idahosa University, one of the first generation private universities in Nigeria? Now you know! Culled From: www.facebook.com/Church-Gist |
