if not for the corrupt nature of the nigeria police,i would have preferred their integration to it.there is no way police will not clash with them and kill them.last month in edo state, they clash with soldiers and kill two of them.if not for the timely intervention of the governor, there would have been serious bloodshed.carrying arms is not a big deal but managing those carrying the arms is more important
It is because we don’t have good trainers in the police force anymore and i doubt that they have dedicated shooting courses in the academies. Nigeria has become so rotten that we no longer have disciplined teachers, trainers and instructors. I suggest that the Nigerian Government should hire trainers from the NYPD or Scotland Yard to come and re-train our policemen.

In regards to shooting, i am a qualified marksman and someone like me can train these guys to sharp shoot but they still need discipline to be able to know when to respond with deadly force and when not to. The reality of the matter however is that someone like me will never get the job because the corrupt head of police will rather hire his village hunter relatives to train the cadets.Stay frosty!

So Jonathan knows how to faint. cheesy  .The title of "ACTING president" soothes him well with this oscar winning performance  grin

Nigeria = Nation of morons

Nigeria = Africa's laughing stock

Nigeria = Land of the hopeless

Until you tibalistic coochies realize that Jonathan being a ND man means fuxkall because he is part of the same cabal. This is just another nollywood movie with the same old actors.

Jonathan is a coward,we don't need someone like that running Nigeria. If he does not act the cabals will kick him out.He is just a chicken who is scared to die.If he is truly a decent Nigerian ,he will stand up for his right. He is the acting president and he meets with the heads of the armed forces so how come he can't control them huh

people can only mobilise to remove politicians from their regions but not the federal government because of mutual suspicions and the past.
I do not agree with you,to be honest with you and this is the GOD's honest truth.Nairaland is the only place where i have found racist IGBOS and YORUBAS. In real life i chill with all my Nigerian brother and we all hate the Government together, there is no division between us so i don't believe in any mutual suspicion. It may exist in Nairaland but in real life Nigerians are more united that you assume here.

I grew up in Lagos and i had many friends from different tribes but we never question each other's loyalty not even once.Of course there was the usual Hausa attacks in the north and opc/bakassi fights in Lagos but it did not poison my mind against my brothers. What shocks me is the way some so called PHD holders behave like uncivilized spare parts dealers on Nairaland.

Even here in SA where IGBO drug crime is high ,it does not give me the right to HATE IGBO people ,i know better. If the so called educated Elites of Igbo land can be so racist then where is the hope for the future generation when we sow seeds of hatred in our children's hearts.

Am I supposed to tell my two sons to hate IGBOS too because most of them them hate my tribe ?  Do you get what i am saying? Hatred is a disease of the mind and it is extremely dangerous and not progressive. It is a drug that consumes a persons ability to reason properly.Take mekusxyz for example ,the guy has gone NUTS.Every opportunity he gets he starts a thread to bash Yorubas huh I mean who the fuxk in his right mind does that huh

This bull crap needs to stop,we need to stop the biafra stories because all it does is divide us along tribal lines. We should learn from our past and not let ruin us.

All this one wey you dey yarn here na cigar  grin
But you know it is true, you should caution your bothers. They do not come up with solutions to our problems instead they tell war stories.War stories will not get us out of this mess neither will it kick PDP out of power.

Instead of us being paper Ninjas ,we should actually mobilize and work against the corrupt PDP government. How are we going to do that when we are still racist towards each other.Toddlers pointing fingers at other toddlers for the "sins" of their forefather?  sad

Imagine if someone like wily+ wily become the president of Nigeria ,that means he will order the massacre of all Yorubas because his parent have obviously filled his heart with hatred.Do you get the picture?Hatred can easily spread over the internet just like racism does.Hatred only leads to violence and your brothers on this forum are always intentionally promoting division amongst Nigerians.I think that is cruel and such persons deserve to be shot.

The average Nigerian who cannot afford to feed himself does not care about biafra or Yorubas ,all he cares about is getting a decent job and living a good life!
Politics › Re: How To Break The North by Shoot2Kill: 5:17pm On Feb 25, 2010
You Nairaland Igbos are extremely pathetic, must you turn every thread in to a biafra thread. The topic has nothing to do with biafra but hell no ,you guys won’t let the matter rest. Fuxk all of you!

It is you guys that is drawing Nigeria backwards, instead of us working together and kicking out the political cabals ,we are here pointing fingers at each other. Nigerians are the dumbest people on the planet and everyday you Nairalanders keep proving that to the whole world.

No wonder a corpse could rule a nation of 150 million. Many of you on this forum never fought in the civil war so I wonder why you are so obsessed with the matter. Even Jews don’t cry so much like you Nairaland Igbos.I think Seun should leave handkerchiefs here so that you guys can blow your noses. I have Igbos friends and they don’t have the mind set you guys have.

You guys claim to be educated but you comment like sadistic racists. If you morons can not come up with ideas to move our nation forward then please go to a biafra website and do not comment here. This is Nairaland.com not OK!

You Nairaland IGBOs should stop being selfish and let us enjoy this forum, you come here with all your sad Biafra stories.I am a Yoruba and I am 30 years old,i did not fight in the civil and from what my parents told me as many as 200 IGBOS were saved by family who hid them on our cocoa farm in ondo state during the war so i don’t owe Igbos any apologies because my family helped them.

Some of you say we non igbos have a heart of stone but it is you Igbos who have a heart of stone if after 44years year you have not learnt how to forgive. We can never defeat PDP as long as we are biafra ,odua and arewa .Until you nitwits understand we need to unite ,we will never have freedom. Stop blaming Hausas for all our problems. Anyone with a brain knows that Hausa are not the problem. The problem Nigeria has is it’s politicians. The PDP is made of many tribes so stop blaming one tribe. The violence in jos is motivated by politicians to satisfy their political agenda. Those people are just uneducated tools who are being used to perpetuate the evil plans of our politicians.

Your ancestors have fought for your freedom and contributed to history. What have you done other than come here and complain? You guys are a bunch of idiots and you are a disgrace to the memories people who died in the war. If you respect your tribe, you will not ridicule the civil war the way you guys have done.By the Igbos ,Hausa ,Yorubas and other tribes members died in the war.It is a WAR dammit!

Even an ordinary foreigner who visited this forum was calling you guys retards but you refuse to heed his advice. Instead of dwelling on the past learn from the past. Nigeria is not the only country where a civil war has been fought but it is the only country that fails to learn from it because people want to be bitter instead of contributing to the progress of our nation.Look at SOUTH AFRICA instead of moping around about how the white killed them, they are learning new skills from the whites and moving their country forward.Mind you South Africa has 12 tribes and speaks 12 official languages. It is the same division you guys are promoting now that has led to the war and that is the last thing we need now. If any war is to be fought it should be the people of Nigeria VS the army not tribe against each other!

Politics › Re: Ibb Will Rule Again by Shoot2Kill: 12:36pm On Feb 24, 2010
Big B1:
The big question is: How will IBB accomplish this goal?

Answer:
1. IBB will get the approval from the top to be listed as one of the 2011 presidential candidates.
2. IBB willget every single support of those people that count in Nigerian political structure.
3. IBB will raise Billions of Naira in less than 1 hour (it might take others up to 6 months to get half of the funds).
4.IBB will be elected at the end of the day.
5. For show and for the record, USA and UK will not immediately accept IBB, but as the time goes on (in less than 4 months)USA and UK will not only endorse IBB, but will also give him awards for holding things down in place within a very short period.
Pray i dont meet you one day angry

We Nigerians are the only ones who destroy our own country. American, Australians, South Africans preserve the natural beauty of their land and create jobs by building holiday resorts by the sea attracting tourist. We Nigerians on the other hand spill oil every where and cause poverty of our own citizens

The Niger Delta is as beautiful as South Africa but severely polluted. If i were you Mr President, i will covert the Niger Delta to look like this instead of issuing out new oil blocks to your corrupt friends:

Politics › Re: Mr Goodluck Jonathan - Please Read This by Shoot2Kill(op): 8:54am On Feb 17, 2010
Mr Jonathan,i put this question to you right now, does Nigeria really need inland Oil fields .This inland Oil fields and pipelines have destroyed the Niger Delta, is it not time now for you as the president to do something. Why don’t we shut down all inland Oil field, remove all inland pipelines and only give licenses for offshore oil feilds.70% of our oil reserve are in the seas so why don’t we just focus on offshore Oil and close down inland Oils field and pipelines.

In a few decades from now petrol will not be in use anymore, most car companies are already developing alternative energy for their vehicles. We have to start planning for the future of Nigeria and the Niger delta. If you completely destroy the Niger delta ,what will the future generation of Niger deltans do with the land because it won’t be able to grow crops and there will be no fish in the water.

I think we need to start thinking ahead like the Americans. The Americans are clever, they have oil on land but they restricted the number of inland oilrigs because of pollution. Most of America’s oils field are in the gulf of Mexico which is off the coast of Louisiana .Why can’t we do the same ,instead of drilling oil inland ,why can’t we just stick to offshore oil. If there is honesty in our petroleum sector, Nigeria can issue a lot of offshore licenses and even produce up to six million barrels a day easily.

I have attached a map of US oil rigs here for your perusal. If the oil rigs are offshore, their pipelines will run under the sea straight to bonny terminal without crossing any Niger Delta village. There will be no pollution on land any more and sea pollution can be monitored easily. There will also be no fires when the oil leaks because the sea will immediately eliminate the flames.

I think the Niger Delta should be cleaned up by specialist environmental clean- up companies and turned in to tourist cities.

Friday Zorzor, a grave digger at a Port Harcourt, cemetery in Nigeria, points out graves where US investigators are trying to unravel a mystery and exhume what are believed to be the remains of Ken Saro-Wiwa, the internationally known Nigerian playwright and activist. After Nigeria's former ruling military hanged Ken Saro-Wiwa in 1995, security agents warned cemetery workers that the body's whereabouts was a secret they should carry to their own graves. During an exhumation lasting several weeks, a pair of American forensic experts dug up what they believe are the bones and skulls of Saro-Wiwa and seven others of the so-called Ogoni Nine.

Personally i think Abuja was just a move by IBB to secure himself after the Orji failed coup. The same paranoia led him to build his Niger mansion on a hill top far away from other people. I think it is important for the capital city of Nigeria to be located by the sea. Seaside capitals become more industrialized at a faster rate than land locked capitals.

I will support a new capital in Niger delta as long as corruption is not involved.

If they approve the new capital, they must ensure that they create a beautiful city. Nigeria has enough cash to replicate a city like Dubai easily. I really don't know why we have not done that yet. Niger delta has a lot of vacant land on the peninsula that can develop into ultra modern cities.

Who knows maybe Jonathan is secretly behind this move. I support the idea (it is way better than creation of new states)

They should build a new ultra modern stylishly designed airport in the new city and an ultra modern seaport. This will boost Nigeria’s economy and create jobs for the indigenes of the ND.
