BusinessRe: Konga Or Jumia: Which Is More Reliable? by ShopKonga: 4:42pm On Dec 09, 2013
Hi, it takes a certain number of days to process a refund which I believe our Customer service team have communicated to you. We are now following you on Nairaland so you can send your transaction details to us.

Thank you
HOPE8888: Make it up to me by refunding my money asap. You guys promised last week friday and then today (monday) again.... Expecting alert later in the evening; if not...... Let me stop here.
BusinessRe: Konga Or Jumia: Which Is More Reliable? by ShopKonga: 4:08pm On Dec 09, 2013
Hi Gboliwe, we can assure you of the quality of our products every time an order is delivered, we also have a 7 day return policy in the event that a customer believes what he has received is of less standard than expected.

Customers usually have little or no use of our return policy as they are usually satisfied with what we deliver. Kindly send us a message of your order number in the event you feel what we delivered was substandard. Thank you

Gboliwe: The major bulk of customer gross as collated from this thread against Konga is not delivery problem as majority including yours sincerely agree you guys got speed. The customers are saying your products are defective, substandard and useless most times. What are you saying about that?
BusinessRe: Konga Or Jumia: Which Is More Reliable? by ShopKonga: 4:05pm On Dec 09, 2013
Hi blank, we sincerely apologize for the delays you had with receiving your orders and hope we will make it up to you with your next order.

blank: My issue with Konga is that it took them 1 week to tell me one item was out of stock and a week and a half to deliver my other items thus 2 weeks and a half in total. However, i have not had cause to return any item as they were all on point. Why can't they be like Dealdey that have perfected their logistics? and they say they are sister companies.

Taafoo is great just that they have lots of knock-offs but they also have the originals and their delivery is 2 days max.

Hi, apologies for any bad experience you have had with members of our customer experience team in the course of meeting up with their duties of giving you the best customer experience.

We cherish you as a customer and will like to make it up to you.

HOPE8888: I dont like konga's customer care officers/team. They act like uneducated people. They dont even understand the company's business. Anyway, I dont blame them cos most/all of them are ladies.

Thank you for your feedback, we totally understand and wish to assure you that our customer service team will continue to improve in handling all user queries.

With regards to your Facebook comments on our wall, we apologize if they were unfairly deleted, we receive a high amount of spam on our wall and can sometimes remove sincere comments like yours. Thank you.

BrandKing: You know this and decided to keep deleting my posts on your facebook wall?
All i was advising was to pay more attention to training and developing your customer service people instead of programming them like robots to keep saying the same thing "we are sorry for any inconveniences, we will get back to you soon" which never happens.

I will NEVER run down anyone's business no matter how badly i was treated because it is a known facet that one can keep getting customers everyday but the BIGGEST work ever is to make those customers keep coming back.

SPEND MORE on your customer center staff training as you are really and seriously lacking in that particular area.

Hi, We sincerely apologize for your experience with our platform. We are passionate about customer satisfaction and feedback as it helps us become a better company and improve on our service delivery.

We will like to make this up to you if you will kindly provide us a means of contacting you. Thank you.
ifyalways: Jumia, in all honesty. It used to be Konga but I think they got many clients and began to feel on top of the world.

Jumia for now,is eager to sell, delivers promptly, tries to please while Konga especially since their yakata scam think they are doing you a favour. They give excuses ranging from "out of stock" to not "saying or doing anything" when you place an order.

Konga's latest modus operandi include:
Hoarding goods : they post items on their website, you click to buy,no way. You try and try to buy for days but no way,the system won't just let you place an order. One week later, the same dress is either out of stock or available only on XXXL size.

Out of stock: you place an order and everything is fine. You're cool expecting your stuff. They send you a confirmation email and SMS. 4 days,6 days, no show. 2 weeks later, they call to tell you that whatever you ordered is out of stock.

Ignoring customers totally- you place an order, everything looks cool but you will neither hear from them nor get any delivery.

I've moved on to Jumia and deal day. No time !

Btw- I buy practically everything online nowadays.

Hi,

If you have been following our sales this morning you will notice that the http://konga.com/yakata page as well as certain sections of our site crashed due to overwhelming engagement from Nigerian shoppers. To quickly remedy the issue we are increasing our website capacity to more than double of the current capacity, we have also created an alternative way for people to shop by putting up “SALE” tag on products that will be on sale.

Customers should simply look out for products with the 'SALE' tag on product images and enjoy amazing discounts

Thanks for your support of the Konga brand so far.

BusinessRe: My Ordeal With Konga by ShopKonga: 9:48am On Nov 22, 2013
Hi Starboard, , We sincerely apologize on behalf of the entire Konga team for the experience you have had so far.

We are now following you on Nairaland, kindly DM your order number so we can expedite your order.

You are important to us. Thank you.
StarBoard: I have been inundated with adverts about Konga and their online shopping, from the internet to TV.
I decided to try to this online shopping thing after visiting their website.
I placed an order on konga.com on the 12th of November 2013 (Tuesday) consisting of a few items, just to check them out to see what the hoopla was all about. On their website, they say we should allow 3-5 working days for delivery outside Lagos, which is reasonable, given that i work in Port Harcourt.
Till this day, 9 days after, I have not gotten my order.
I have called their hotline(01-4605555) since Monday the 18th of November and each person I spoke to promised to speed up the order. It was only this morning that a fellow who I spoke with informed me that the order was still within their premises and had not been shipped.

This, i feel, is grossly unprofessional and unfair to a customer.
Even if I am the odd exception, I feel this is no way to treat a customer.

This is just my little experience with Konga that will greatly deter me from making online purchases.

D-Explorer:
Konga should improve their customer service, it's not about promises but acting it. This thread got their attention and to save their head, they acted. Why allow your customers to wait too long before a response or doing the right thing? Good cover up for this thread anyways. Got nothing against you dudes but such cases should be swiftly avoided. #Kongacares
