Omo Yiibo, wake up from your slumber, you've been sleeping and decieved too long. Obi has nothing good to offer you or anyone. The tribunal judges are not as daft as you'all
Yet the tribunal judges keeps overruling all the objections by Tinubu and APC lawyers?

If you follow the proceedings of the tribunal objectively you will know Tinubu is a goner
PoliticsWhat Are We Moving On To? by shortgun(op): 11:05pm On Jun 17, 2023
Tinubu and APC supporters are telling us to put everything that happened during the elections behind us and move on because Tinubu is doing well as president according to them; even as the Presidential election Petition Tribunal is yet to conclude it's proceeding.

We ask what are we moving on to?
Is this not the same reason why Nigeria have remained backward and underdeveloped?
People are not held accountable for their actions and inactions?

Is this not the same Tinubu that fought and opposed all the beneficial economic policies of the PDP administration to the detriment of the Nigerian people including the subsidy removal by Jonathan in 2012?

Is this not the same Tinubu in connivance with others that threatened to form a parallel Government?

Is this not the same Tinubu that sponsored people to make mockery of the president, his family and the office?.. including inscribing
Is this not the same Tinubu that resisted Obasanjo's directives as the head of Government on the issue of creation of unconstitutional additional Local Governments for Lagos State?

Is this not the same Tinubu that was convicted for illicit drug trading in the USA?
Is this Tinubu a good example worthy of emulation by the youths of this country?

We ask again, what exactly are we moving on to?

No court can remove the sitting president in Nigeria.
Reason:. Your argument cannot be convincing enough to set aside the results of the presidential elections considering the polling units involved.
The present cases at the PEPT will go same way like the previous cases.Pronto!
I also thought a sitting president can never relinquish power in Nigeria or any African country but it has happened countless times.

Tinubu will surely be the first "president" to be sacked by the courts.

Do you know Tinubu as President has the power to suspend the constitution? Tinubu will suspend the constitution and arrest all the judges including the Chief Justice of the Federation. Tinubu will declare a state of Emergency and arrest Peter Obi. You don't know how powerful a sitting President is. Nigerian President is regarded as the most powerful President in the world in case you don't know

Look at the calibre of people I am having discussions with 😂😂
Who told you the president has power to suspend the constitution? ...

Forgive my curiosity, when Federal Govt wants to appointment Agency or parastatal head, why often be in "Acting" position before transforming to full-fledge leader? E.g Acting CBN governor, Acting Efcc chairman etc.

Any answer?

The constitution of a country is supreme and it gives the courts power to take decisions on various matters brought before it...
Nobody is above the law! not even the "president"
The office of the president and all the powers he enjoys is the creation of the constitution....

Wait until Tinubu is sacked, for sure he will disobey the court's verdict...
Then he will be treated in the language he understands. angry grin

Nothing good can come out of a convicted criminal drug baron.
modified
Tinubu and his band of thieves are only after one thing which is the national treasury , nothing more.

Brainless ones should ask themselves why Tinubu fought Jonathan's regime rather than support the administration if he has the interest of Nigeria at heart.
Why did he fight subsidy removal in 2012 when he knew it was the best for Nigeria?

A patriotic citizen will support any policy of Government which will better her economy but Tinubu and his band of thieves in power today elected to oppose a good policy.
Tinubu is a wolf in sheep's clothing!

He is currently decieving the brainless ones with unlawful vindictive suspensions, removals and haphazard monetary policies and they are cheering him on just like they did in 2012.

My happiness is that the convicted criminal drug baron parading as president will soon be sacked going by the proceedings of the tribunal.

That's why ibos live in fear in kano, respect and obey the Hausa/fulani because those ones won't hesitate to slit your throats
But you drag and flex muscles here with the yorubas because they have allowed you to live freely among them since after the civil war, but you got carried away and started misbehaving
You lack information, there's a place called sabon Gari in Kano State, if you go there you will think you are in Aba...Igbos own almost all the buildings and shops there.
Alcohol is sold there freely despite the fact that Kano practice Sharia and banned alcohol but they accommodate it's sell and use in this place...

Detribalised as played out in the last election?? Won't say you're completely wrong though as all my Igbo friends are really wonderful . Definitions of brothers from another mother but still I've met others that you won't want to associate with ever. This isn't just peculiar to only the Igbos as it can be found in other tribes as well so we should rather focus on individuals. It's better to just quit playing ethnic cards and just concentrate on doing what is right.
Go and find out how Igbos voted for Obasanjo, Yar'Adua, Jonathan and Atiku. All these people are not Igbos but they got the overwhelming support of Igbos during the elections...Igbos will always vote for any candidate that they think in their judgement is the best for the country.

Why did it became a problem that Igbos voted for Peter Obi in the last election?
If Tinubu was Igbo and Peter Obi was Yoruba; Igbos would still not vote Tinubu...this is the mindset that is lacking in other tribes and the reason why the country have remained underdeveloped.

Go back to your state if you have problem with the state government. It’s simple.
I don't know what it will take to make you people understand that Nigeria is a FEDERATION! in a federation every citizen has equal rights, there's no discriminations. The same rights a Yoruba man has in Anambra is the same rights an Igbo man has in Adamawa.
All the lands and minerals in the country belongs to the Federal republic of Nigeria.

If you’re not comfortable with what the state government is about to do, why not move to your Igbo state and dictate to the government over there.
You are the blind one If you didn't read that there are over 300 houses marked for demolition since 2016 and only 17 in alaba market where Igbos are the occupants are being demolished.

Mention just one race that has regretted fighting Igbos?? You're still suffering from what happened in civil war as it stands. In as much as I want an Igbo man to rule one day,all that's happening now is cos of the distrust other tribes have towards Igbos. So tell me who has lost the most.
If you know anything about the Igbos, you'll understand they are the most detribalised people in the country, they will give support to the best candidate irrespective of where they come from.

The North would have been the most developed region and it's people the richest if where the president comes from is beneficial to his people.....

Nobody fights the Igbo and not regret it sooner or later.

We will all be alive, let's see what becomes of Lagos in the next 20 years if it continues being hostile to Igbo people.

The constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria gives equal rights to every Nigerian citizen to live and thrive in any part of the country.
Whenever criminals gets power they use it to oppress, intimidate, harass and punish perceived opponents.

Tribunal: ‘Did Tinubu Poll 8.7 Million Votes Or INEC Declared Fraudulent Results For Him?’ – Onovo
Joner Send an email2 days ago0 374 1 minute read

The Election Petition tribunal is still hearing arguments on the 2023 election that elected Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president. Petitioners have pointed to INEC’s alleged failure to adhere to its own procedures throughout the election as evidence of their case. Martin Onovo, the National Conscience Party’s (NCP) 2015 presidential candidate, has questioned Bola Tinubu’s legitimacy as president.

In an interview with the Sun paper, he claimed that polling unit officers had a different tally than the one given by the INEC. There is no way for Nigerians to know for sure that Bola Tinubu received 8.7 million votes, as INEC claimed, in his opinion.

”I will ask the question again: was Tinubu elected or appointed by the duo of INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and Buhari?” he added. Is it true that Tinubu received 8.7 million votes, or that INEC fraudulently declared him the winner? Inconsistencies between the official results in the hands of poll workers, party representatives, and other stakeholders, as well as the results posted on the INEC Result viewing (IReV) Portal, prove that the results proclaimed by INEC are false.

I won't say more than that grin grin

No front page please, I don't need it
There's no way a convicted criminal will follow due process or the rule of law.

Never shall this country continue to be in the hands of men of the underworld.
There's still hope for the country going by the proceedings so far by the tribunal as the outcome will sack the imposter parading as president.

PoliticsTribunal: Professor Of Maths Witness For Obi by shortgun(op): 12:09am On Jun 16, 2023
There was mild drama in the tribunal today as lawyers to INEC, Tinubu and Shetima were visibly tensed and about to poo in their pants when Peter Obi and labour party called their 4th witness, a professor of mathematics to testify and recalculate votes due to labour party that was fraudulently given to Tinubu by INEC in various polling units across the country live in the court before the justices. cheesy cheesy

Lawyers to INEC, Tinubu and Shettima objected to calling of the professor as witness on the grounds that he's a star witness and they are handicapped on how to proceed with the witness... calling it an ambush by counsel to Labour party.
Counsel to APC was simply too dumbfounded to say anything cos he neither objected nor accepted the witness, he simply did not make any comment. grin grin

After counsel to INEC, Tinubu and Shettima did everything to stop the professor from testifying , they failed. 😂😂

Obi is coming

The floating of Naira means some of those currency exchangers would be out of business cos it would be more available at bank and cheaper.

There is nothing like scarcity of dollars but instead hoarding. If the hoarding is no longer there, the rate can be fixed whether from bank or from Mallam exchanger
See the way you typed like you know what you are saying 😂😂

Let me give you a little assignment, what will happen to an economy suffering high inflation that adopts floating exchange?
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Floating The Naira Is A Good Call by shortgun(m): 8:52am On Jun 15, 2023
Escapist:
But those who just want to see the negative in everything he does, would argue otherwise. And those who have been making a fortune from the slow death of our economy will keep fueling their myopic narratives.

How can a country have a street exchange rate that is double the official rate? That is simply economic genocide as it keeps increasing the demand for foreign currency because of those who are profiting from the gap through black market sales.

With this regularisation, I believe the rate will drop in time, due to lower demand (drop in round tripping, black marketeering and local oil refinement).

Tinubu is indeed economically savvy and knows the right decisions needed to steer Nigeria back to the right path.

Sensible arguments welcome.
This decision is the most senseless economic policy.
Tinubu has succeeded in killing the naira, wait and see what happens in few months.

No country totally floats it's currency including the USA.
Some of you are saying market forces will determine exchange rate but you should be asking yourselves is what constitutes "market forces" in Nigeria
