I await your feedback.

Battery back up is great for an over 2-year old phone. Notice some bearable bugs though: Occasionally screen flickering(I guess this is due to the auto brightness), You can't play radio over the phone speaker, Bluetooth always running in the background, etc.

There's a new update 11.0.5.2. If I'm to update to the new version, do I still need to do a wipe(system/vendor, etc.)

My love for Sony Ericsson then, so las las this phone die late last year cheesy. Until its death I use am oppress people in the days of the Nokia 2700 and express music. The display be like FHD for where those Nokia yeye java and many symbian phones dey those ones blike 360p displays. If you like get a feel, the display blike the Nokia N95 display, battery lasts longer than the Nokia Xpress music phones, then the camera na killer, oppress everything around even the blackberry bold 2/4 nr fit meet up, na the bold 5 eventually catch up and beat am for some situations. If dem nr tell you, you nr go even know say this phone get camera (slide up mechanism wen Android don bring back cheesy). The only cons for this phone and other Sony Ericsson phones then na their yeye proprietary charging/earpiece port plus the use of M2 memory card instead of the popular micro SD card.

Bros, my 5800 XpressMusic was like the best phone ever made. Bought that phone close to 60K at slot back then. Can we say mobile phones are getting cheaper

I immediately hated the Sendo X the moment I saw the Sony Ericsson k700, the phone too disgrace the Sendo X, display quality, speed, sound quality, etc, everybody just dey wonder for the small machine.

K700 then was huge but the volume of the E1000 attracted me then. The Sendo X was a huge mistake

Since we are going down memory lane this weekend, please all those that flexed Sendo X let's gather here for a selfie cheesy

For those who dunno Sendo was like the Xiaomi of the Symbian era before they were absorbed by Motorola.

That phone can hang for Africa. I had to endure for almost 2 years then moved to Motorola E1000

Indomie generation? I'm not sure you know Indomie has been around since the late 80s

And you expect the merchant not to transfer this fee to the customers. If that's the case then most them will eventually abandon their POS machines.

This is a follow up to the above rom I recently flashed on my Redmi Note 4.
I posted the battery statistics below to show a new rom can give a new lease of life to your old device.
My redmi Note 4 will be 3 years by next year April/May.

I flashed the ROM too some days ago but I've been on the road ever since. I'll give feedback later. Thanks for sharing

Xender has permission to install apps from unknown sources.

If you don't check that unknown source in settings, you won't be able to install apps outside the playstore

Good evening everyone.

I got a redmi 8a for my younger sister earlier today. I sent her some apps through xender and it is refusing to install. The texts I keep receiving is "due to system policy, this app cannot be installed and application not installed"

I have tried factory resetting but to no avail. is there any workaround it?

Go to settings - additional settings - privacy and check unknown sources

The instructions insisted on the use of Orangefox recovery. It is actually easy to flash. Just download from the link I provided and flash from your present custom recovery.

Provided you've set the Notes app to sync with Mi Cloud, you will get all your notes back on your latest rom install after setup. All you need to do is sync with Mi Cloud.

Data of other apps like Messaging, Contacts, Phone records etc. can also be synced. Avoid syncing Gallery though, unless data subscription is no issue.

Much appreciated bro

Are you a Redmi Note 4 user? And you wish to give your device a breath of fresh air.
I just recently stumbled on a MiUi 11 based pie rom that I have been using for a couple of days.

Download the rom from the following link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261625952

Use OrangeFox recovery. You can get that from this link: https://files.orangefox.website/OrangeFox-Stable/mido/OrangeFox-R10.0-Stable-mido.zip

Instructions to flash:

1. Boot into Custom recovery (OrangeFox)

2. Swipe and accept modification to system

3. Find your way to "Wipe" section and wipe System/Vendor/Cache/Dalvick/Data partitions
(Warning!!! Don't wipe your Internal storage)

4. Find your way to "File" section and select rom package and swipe to install.

5. Wipe cache and reboot.

Reboot might take a few minutes.

Bug:
Potrait in stock cam is not working.(GCAM can substitute for this)

Thanks for sharing. Must it be orangefox(why not twrp)? Also can I restore my restore my system app(the note app particularly) after porting to the ROM. Thanks.

Change your network type to ' prefer LTE or prefer 3G', your network is probably locked to 4G only.

I guess you won't be updating to MIUI 11 anytime soon.
