Martinkem please stop giving excuses for your favourite artistes who happen to be on this list. Music as an Art form is meant to be scrutinised and criticised, a smart musician learns from his critics. You are wrong to equate critique and hating, they are not the same thing.

Music/Radio › Re: Your Top 5 Wack American Rapper by shotster50(m): 2:05am On Dec 21, 2008
1. Souljah Boy
2. little Wayne ( His lyrics aren't very well thought out, his beats are ear splittingly terrible usually and doesn't reflect what hip hop truly is and all I see from him is the latest trends and what little kids want to hear on the radio. Peeps here saying they don't like Kanye's autotune, what do you have to say for this guy's horrible voice!)
3. Curtis Jackson ( He is no longer a rapper just a businessman and that has greatly affected his music)
4. Nelly for making us suffer through Brass Knuckle.
5. Mims (Where the hell is that mofo now)

Music/Radio › little Waynes Carter 3 Is The Most Over-hyped Piece Of Crap. by shotster50(op): 11:52pm On Dec 20, 2008
I'm a huge hip hop fan, usually I never listen to mainstream rap but there are a few exceptions,  (Lupe, Nas, Kanye, Eminem, Common, T.I., and "some" little Wayne)

Now unless you've been living under a rock, then you must have heard some songs off little Wayne's Carter III. It's been the most anticipated cd of this year, and this is coming from "The Best Rapper ALive". (sarcasm)

Anyways all I can say is that with all the production value and guests on the album, this album completely fails. He literally raps about nothing, it's all pretty much metaphors and punch lines. This is why hip hop sucks now, its all for the hype and money. I do not really get it when they say he is the G.O.A.T cause that is an insult to people like Rakim Allah,KRS One,Kool G Rap,Big Daddy Kane,Slick Rick, Nas, Jay Z, hell even TIP, etc.
Music/Radio › Re: Kanye West 808's And Heartbreak Is Wack by shotster50(m): 9:51pm On Dec 20, 2008
You either love him or hate him theres no sitting on the wall. What I do not get is some people here are saying they never liked him,  so why are they complaining that he is singing then because even if he had rapped, you still wont like him. Dudes need to get off Kanye's ball sac , Go find Weezy or somebody else to hit on , Like Ye himself said, ''go 'head, switch the style up
And if they hate then let 'em hate and watch the money pile up'',

Music/Radio › Re: Who Raps Better?50 Cent Or The Game. by shotster50(m): 1:28am On Dec 20, 2008
@ gomez1only ,

You noticed how Curtis moved all the way from 9m units to 3m units shifted. The guy has simply over exposed himself, people are sick of his antics. Go ask anybody in the business, Curtis aint what he used to be, he is just a busnessman. Do you honestly believe The Game would have been better off under G-Unithuhhuh? If yes wtf happened to Yayo and Bankshuh?? Those mofos cant even move 300k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are just glorified hype men. Game is his own man.
For him to break away from G-Unit and being pushed into a non Rap label (Geffen) and still be able to work that grind, you just have to give it up for the Hurricane Game period. Curtis is just releasing albums because he is obliged to under his contract, he knows he's not hot anymore, case in point being he is constantly pushing his album release dates forward. I mean he has a new single Get Up and peeps dont even give 2 f**ks.

I think y'all are just spewing garbage you got from other websites, critics said the same thing when he first blew up, dissin the way he rapped and now its autotune, for me, 808 is one of the best albums in '08.   You are just dissapointed he didnt rap in it period,  big deal get over it. You forget he is an artiste, he has refused to put himself in a box like majority of your favourite artistes who can't even rap for their lives.

If y'all wanted some rap then go cop souljah boy or some other wack ass rapper out there. Ye did what other artistes couldnt and can't do which is creating something new, trying to be different and damning the consequences. As much as people say they hate his album, 808 is one of the biggest albums of the year,  doesnt that say somethinghuh

You simply just want to go on and on about how Curtis is the greatest thing ever to happen to you,  If you care to read previous comments, you will find that you are a lonely voice in the wilderness lol.

He probably knew he would get away with doing Bush rather than Saddam where he would have been shot immediately.
Foreign Affairs › Re: An Iraqi Throws A Shoe At President Bush by shotster50(m): 12:52am On Dec 15, 2008
@ David,

Based on what I gather, it seems that it is a custom in Iraq. Throwing a shoe is a sign of contempt. When Saddam's statues were being pulled down, the people where throwing shoes at them!!!
Politics › Re: Problem Starts With The Emirs by shotster50(m): 12:09am On Dec 15, 2008
This is  absolute drivel. the emirs do not rule Nigeria. What about the Igwes/Obas/Oonis, etc?? Why single out the emirs. If you have a grouse with them, I am sure there are proper channels to address that rather than coming on here to spew utter garbage.
