Marine 6 Close quarters....8/10 for me. Not as good as other marine like Marine 4,weak storyline but action packed, little talk, very okay fighting scenes and entertaining comic banters here & there. They ruined the franchise by removing our hero... Not cool! It's safe to assume there will be no more marine sequels. Just like other movies in the marine series, it's thrilling, full of action & suspense filled. If you enjoyed other movies in the marine series... You're going to enjoy watching this.

Escape room is a 4/10 for me. Amateur acting mixed in with a poorly written script,boring characters,ridiculous rooms (frozen lake indoors Right! ), cliche plot, with an extremely lackluster ending. The movie has a lot of loop holes, lots of predictable elements, (Why would you spoil the entire movie in the first scene?) Seeing Ben alone in the movie's first scene already tells you what to expect. Very few plot twists and the riddles throughout the film are not viewer friendly at all, so we can't speculate the answers. When you see movies like this, the major things that attract you are "the way people die" & how they get to solve the puzzles" and honestly both of them were sillier than I expected. If you're calling this an escape room,players should die because of playing it wrong but most players died in accidents. How did a fish hole appear precisely where Ben threw the lighter? Picks the lighter, pauses for like 5 secs with the stare & all... Even a kid knows something is about to go down. How did Zoey get the oxygen mask? So the designers/game masters would keep an oxygen mask in view while trying to suffocate them? Perfect! The sequel set up at the end is so blatantly desperate. Overall the movie has a good concept just like the exam or more like the belko experiment but the execution is far from being good. Hopefully the sequel will be better! My opinion..? Cheap scare movie! If you want a movie that looks like horror but is not horror... Go for it.

By the way..your mum can watch the notebook, almost Christmas 2015, are we done yet, college trip, blended, grown-ups (1 & 2), left behind 2014, God is not dead, age of Adaline, run fatboy run, ride along, the wedding ringer, or the good old Mr bones & coming to America. Just choose any of the above and download for her... I've seen them and I can recommend them. They are mostly comedy/family themed movies and they are really nice for a little family time..

Blood-and-gore fans, you might wanna check out the following:

- Feast franchise: tarantino-esque horror. People trapped in a cabin and surrounded by nightmarish creatures.
- The Descent: Basically a bunch of ladies lost their way in an underground cave, and are thoroughly terrorized by mutated cave creatures henceforth.
- The Hills Have Eyes: Watch the unrated version. You could imagine the level of gore in a movie that transcends censorship.
- Saw franchise: Different and creative ways to kill people.
- The Mist: Better than the novel. Started off as your average family drama, then escalated to absolute horror. The ending though... that sh*t will f**k you up.
- Jeeper Creeper 2: School bus get stuck up in middle of nowhere, and the students in the bus are getting attacked by the friendly neighborhood creeper.
- The Cabin in The Woods; If science fiction hooks up with psychological horror, they'd give birth to something like this.
- 30 Days of Night; Setting - middle of bumhole, Alaska. Population - handful of civilians. Predators - Vampires. Gore - loads and loads of it.
- Event Horizon: Another deprived spurn of an unholy amalgam of sci-fi and horror.
- Wrong Turn: related to The Hills Have Eyes. Bunch of deformed hillbillies laying traps to catch people for... dinner.

Disclaimer: Not for the faint of heart. If you're a pussy, don't watch.

You should also check out 22 jump street, and the hangover 2 and 3. They are really nice movies especially the hangover franchise (1, 2 & 3).
22 jump street is action/vs comedy while the hangover is strictly comedy. You'll enjoy watching them... I assure you.

TOP 10 COMEDY MOVIES, THAT LITERALLY CRACKED MY RIBS .

Laughter they say is the best medicine, but if you're laughing without reason, then you need medicine( LOL). So subjectively, in no particular order, below are basically top 10 comedy movies, that left me with a cracked rib after seeing 'em.

1. MODERN TIMES (1936) : This was Charlie Chaplins' slapstick skewering of the industrialized America. This was definitely one of Chaplins best LOL movies.
2. CITY LIGHTS (1931) : Also, a Charlie Chaplin movie. This IMO was his best Romance Comedy slapstick, with not only rib cracking scenes, but also with an ending that sure lit up my heart.
3. THE CHANGE UP(2011) : A very crude, vulgar & absolute hilarious R-rated comedy sure to leave your ribs cracked up.
4. 21 JUMP STREET(2012) : 21 jump street offers a rowdy mainstream comedy, with a surprising satisfying bite.
5. THE NE.KADE GUN(1988) : This one was chocked full of gags that are goofy, unapologetic & ultimately hilarious.
6. AMERICAN PIE(1999) : This was my best American pie movie,it was a good nurtured sex comedy, with very
good humor and a funny storyline to it.
7. THE HANGOVER(2009) : The hangover nails just the right tone of ranchy humor & non-stop laughs, This is the kind of movie you want to see 100 times, with pranks & puns so silly you love to hate.
8. DUMB AND DUMBER(1994) : Funny, funnier, funniest of Jim Carreys' comedy movies. This one sure got me from my seat to the floor.
9. THE DICTATOR(2012) : A movie packed full of laughter, with a superb plot & great acting & script from Sacha Baron Cohen.
10. HAROLD & KUMAR ESCAPE
FROM GUANTANAMO BAY(2008) : Most of its humor in this movie, was either racial, sexual, or drug-related, so, If you can appreciate that type of humor you will be laughing throughout the entire movie, but if not, i'll advice you steer clear of this one.

There was this movie in 2013 where a Hummer Jeep was buried (that popular picture circulating round social media) . Emeka Ani was a ritualist in that movie who slept with prostitutes and gays but he only sucked their sexual organs after which, it would become rotten. I bought the movie 1 - 3 and anyone who watched it would attest to this - He sucked the nipples of two "prostitutes" live on camera. No offence, are you really a lady behind this monika, cause am quite fascinated at the way you were just quoting Action thrillers here & there. Most lady friends of mine are just interested in Nollywood movies & the few who'll tell you they like Hollywood movies, watch & classify Filipino love movies as Hollywood movies.

Yes! I'm a lady. And I watch nollywood too though(mainly old movies by Ibu, Osuofia & the likes just for laughs) but that's like once in a blue moon cos most recent nollywood movies are bleeped up with their forced comedy and fake action movies. Imagine nollywood acting movie with dragons looking like cartoon characters? They don't act what we can relate to here in Nigeria..Okay copy foreigners well, still zero! And they don't really give me what I like seeing in movies but I enjoyed watching the nollywood movie 2009 Figurine and Stephenie Okereke's 2014 "Dry". So nollywood is like once in a while stuff.

I'm not talking about the 2013 Ocean's but the 2001 Ocean's 11. By the way, I've already downloaded so I'll just endure the agony of watching make my mb for no waste... Who knows? I might enjoy it.

Bird box was ok. Most of us here have actually seen the movie, because, I remember us dissecting the move here sometime in December last year.
NO ESCAPE the same one by Owen Wilson?... Menh that movie sure gave me one heck of an adrenaline thrill, it was as though I was with Owen & his family all the way....You should probably see A QUITE PLACE by Emily Blunt.

I've read a lot of reviews about the quiet place here on nairaland... Will probably see it soon. Have you seen 13 hours secret soldiers of Benghazi , 2007 the kingdom by Jamie Foxx (All about American Soldiers sent to fight terrorism and al-qaeda bombings), or 2006 Poseidon? They are also action packed thriller movies guaranteed to give you RUSH. You should see them. Next on my watch list tonight: 2001 Ocean's 11 and Marine 6 Close quarters.

So I just watched Bird box and it's really a 9/10 for me. I enjoyed watching it so much that I didn't move an inch all through. I love movies that gives me intense adrenaline rush just like No escape 2015 movie and 2013 World War Z..... It feels like I'm right there in the movie. My best genre of movie being horror followed by thriller filled action/heist movies.
The 1% i removed is because they didn't get to explain the "If you look, you die" phenomenon but all the same....the movie is great and is recommended for thriller and horror movie lovers like me.

Just seeing this please...
I don't know if this is a standard recipe but this is my recipe /the recipe I used:

Flour.. Half kilo
Simax margarine.. I used one Satchet and half. The remaining half I used to coat the cake pans.
Eggs... I used 12 medium eggs,
Two tin of liquid peak milk,
Baking powder... Two teaspoons same as one tablespoon. Sugar... Like a cup (milk cup) cos I didn't want it to be too sugary... Vanilla liquid flavor.. One cap full (of the cover)




Firstly, I creamed the margarine and sugar with wooden spatula (turning garri) for like 20 minutes when I could barely see the sugar grains or till my hand start pain me. It's for personal consumption biko, I can't kill myself.

Secondly, i sieved the flour and baking powder (in a separate bowl) to incorporate air and remove particles in it.

Thirdly, I whisked the eggs all together until light but not too fluffy so that the cake will retain it's density and doesn't turn to sponge cake. Then i added the liquid milk into the egg while I whisked.
Then I switched on the gas/stove and placed the pot on fire to heat slowly...or you turn on your oven if you have one.
Then rub butter round the cake pans and put flour in and swirl round to coat the butter/cake pan.

Fourthly, I started adding the egg/milk mixture in bits into the butter/sugar mixture. That's when I added the liquid vanilla flavor as well. When I was through with that, I started adding the sieved flour into the butter/egg semi liquid mixture.
I fold it in slowly just like the way you do garri until it's smooth to the touch and everything is incorporated evenly.
Then you pour the batter in your cake pans and place in the already hot pot. Leave to bake on very low heat for like 40 minutes to one hour depending on the size of your cake.
Don't open the pot after putting the cake pan until like 40 minutes for larger cakes and 20 minutes for cupcakes so that you won't stop the rising process.

To check the doneness of the cake, you should insert toothpick or knife at the center of the cake or look at the cake pan & see if the cake is easily leaving the side of the cake pan.

Please, the average cost of a three bedroom flat in Nsukka is #250,000 not #400,000 and you can get a two bedroom for #200,000 in most places within Nsukka. By the way, Nsukka, Awgu and some other places you mentioned are not cities but LG Areas in Enugu. I can't see Abakpa ntike, New layout, Achara layout, Obiagu, Asata, Mponkiti, University road, Uwani, Gariki,Policlinic and Co..... They are among the major places in Enugu not what you wrote above and you mentioned town & LG areas and you didn't mention cost of flats in Agbani that has like three or more institutes there. This your list is not 100% accurate please.
