The reason for your fuel consumption is simple mathematics sir. We are all simply not mentally used to the new price, so we should focus on the quantity/liters. Fuel used to be N165 per liter. It is now N570. So, N20,000 fuel today is actually N5,789 fuel we've been used to. Both are the same 35liters. (N165 / N570 x N20000 = N5,789) Two months ago, you wouldn't complain about using 5k fuel to go from Mile 2 to Ikorodu and back. Infact, you'd hail your car as being fuel efficient. 1 Like |

Congratulations and may the Lord keep the day. The hall is a better option if you ask me. Considering the fact that it will be in the rainning season and we dont want your guests feeling uncomfortable. Plus you will eventually be saving money because most halls comes with chairs, tables, ac's, toilets, security, electricity..... while a field will still need you to hire a tent or tents as the case maybe, tables and chairs, mobile toilets, generators and some of your vendors will charge more because they will need to bring their generators and electrical works where needed. There is wedding planner you all should check out. I met her when I was about planning my wedding and so far myself and my fiance decided to tell all our friends about her. All she will tell you is that she doesn't believe a wedding needs to be expensive to be memorable and she has been great! Her ability to manage fiances is super amazing. Check out her blog and thank me later. Even her consultation fee was sooo little compared to what she is did. She even gave out a bridal idea kit when we had our consultation and a bridal checklist, We could have planned the wedding ourselves with the checklist, it was that detailed, all the questions for each vendor, simply amazing! @OP Too bad you changed your mind. The Ford Escort was my first car and it was VERY reliable. With its twin cam engine, it could easily drag the road with V6 cars. I used it frequently in inter state travel and it ate up other cars like a monster! The parts are ridiculously cheap! Quite contrary to what I was made to believe when I first bought the car: the usual nonsense about Ford parts being hard to find. Cole street at ojuelegba is the hq of Ford parts. Anything you need, you'd find there. Just don't let the mechanics dupe u. Go there urself and bargain. D headlamp is just 2k5. Shaft,2k for one. Small small prices for parts really. I used the car for 5 good yrs and it's still solid. It can take a lot of rough use and believe me I was a very rough driver! (I once used the car in a car fight with a foolish Prado all the way down bank Anthony way, hitting each others cars like idiots. The Prado came out worse. Not proud of that moment of insanity though.) If u look at my profile, u'll see the pictures from when I tried to sell it. Eventually, I decided not to and gave it to my mum to use in carrying "Load" for her supermarket. People are just generally ignorant about Ford cars. I used one and I can categorically tell you that t escort is a very solid car! 4 Likes |
