Thank God for Power being generated. How is it going to be transmitted? We don't need anymore of FG scam. If the transmission capacity of our national grid is far below our generating capacity, common wisdom dictates that the government focus on building transmission lines to take those areas with electricity towards 24 hrs supply and electrify those areas that have not been electrified. By building more generating plant at the expense of power transmission which according to the Presidency, we are lagging behind in, either GEJ is one big scam/scum or those advising him are. BTW, what is the individual transmission capacity of each of the DISCOs? |
AC Milan still wouldn't mind having the guy with all his character flaws, because what he lacks in emotion and maturity does not negate his on-field performance. |

BH is not achieving its aim and they need a new body to improve methods without contradicting principles of Sharia for All. |
That's some 60 million Naira per Km of road. |

^^^The fact that Ogunde and co made better movies in their time isn't really an issue here. The big question should be, where does Nollywood start and end? From my own little knowledge i think it was suppose to refer to the Nigerian Film making industry at large. |
What about the Duro Ladipo of this world? Like Gbawe rightly pointed out, it is more of a disservice to associate Ogunde with the current crop of film makers we have today, but at the same time i think he deserves the tag of "father of Nollywood" as Nollywood describes the Nigerian film industry at large. I remember very well when the Igbos started making films, we called them Igbo-films at first because the the Igbos were never known to most Nigerians for making movies. |
The percieved offense of the man probably and very likely wasn't intentional. Ordinarily, one wouldn't expect this kind of reaction, but then this is Nigeria. |
