THEY BEGAN TO MAKE THEIR WAY HOME WHEN FRANCIS WAS DONE TIRING THE ROPE BACK ON THE TREE....

With smiles on their faces.. They head for the threshold of Mogula....
It wasn't long before they got there... They stood looking at each other... Glad the made it.. After all the horros... The hard terror of life they were forced to face.. They were finally home... It was a prayer come true.....

"I guess this is where we say our goodbyes.... "Pandora said with clenched teeth.. Her two hands propelling on her back... She gritted... Bug her lips.... "I can't go to Mogula.. "

Katherine gave her a smile.... "I understand.. You need to go home... "

Both girls smile.. Then they hugged.....

Levi crocked throat interrupt them and they quickly seperate from the embrace.....

"Thank you for everything.... "Francis added with muffled lip...... "I mean that... "he added with a shrug when Pandora wink at him....

Levi took a deep breathe.. As much as he wanted to follow Francis.. He can't go back to Mogula.. He needs to find his own way... Have his own life.... Away from slavery..... "Am leaving too.... "He spoke up after much silence

"Levi.... "Francis muttered as the words echoed in his head....

"Are you scared my father will make you a slave again....? Katherine ask

"Till we meet again Francis.... "He said smile beeming in his face... With those.... He took Pandora's hands and they took their own path... Away from Mogula...

Their swords gleamed in the sun light. King Dafuda knew that only one of them would walk away from this..

King Jafar aim his sword at him.. Eyes sparkling anger....

King Dafuda shuffled to the side and awaited in attack, and, possibly, inevitable death. His opponent charged with a mighty cry. King Dafuda dodged to the side in one fluid move

King Jafar swiveled in his direction. His menacing eyes were a blazing red and his steel sharp sword made the rest of his features indistinguishable. He thrust his sword forward again, only to be met by King Dafuda sword. Both sword met in the air with a resounding 'clang'. The were both master swordsmen...

"Give up Dafuda.. This fight is meaningless....

King Dafuda groaned.... With renewed vigor, he slashed his blade back and forth....their swords hitting each other making chirping sound......

King Jafar changed his tactic.... He waited calculated.... When King Dafuda thrust at him again.... He dodge him... Slowly.. Aggressively.... He cut him in the hand....

"Father...... "Both Vuga and Gary shouted in unison... Both struck with fear that the worst might happen....

Princess..... "One of the guard's shouted the moment they entered the palace.....

Francis nib his lip as he look around.. Everywhere was quiet.... Only a few guards stood in position....

The guard quickly run towards them.... "Princess you are home.... "

Katherine look around..... "Where is everyone...? She ask anxiously....

She smile... Joy overwhelming her when she heard Adesa scream her name......

Both girls quickly ran towards each other.....
They hug tightly.... Tears of joy flowing from each others eyes....

Katherine quickly freed herself from the embrace..... "Where is everyone....?

"Aren't they back.... ?she ask looking around... Then her gaze caught Francis... Shock swept through her... She quickly recall what Francis had told her.. He was going to rescue her..... She stood. Motionless.... Gazing at him doubting the possibility of it....

"Where did they go? Katherine voice interrupted her thoughts....

"Th... They went to the boundary... The boundary of Mogula and Albuno... Your father has agreed to give him the goldmine for your safe return... "She said.. The shock Expression still etched on her face...

"My father can't do that.... "Katherine blared out.... "Am here now.. Am safe.. We need to stop him.... "

"You won't be able to get there quickly on legs... You need to take a horse.... "

Without hesitation.. She ran towards the stable.... Adesa and Francis quickly followed her.... Adesa eyes fused on Francis... Still skeptical of the possibility of it.....

"Can you ride a horse.....? Katherine quickly ask Francis when they got to the stable....

Francis bug his eyes... He look at the horse.... Fear grip him when the horse neigh at him.... "No.... "He boom out shapily.... "I don't... "

Katherine didn't hesitate... Before she climb on the horse.... "Ride with me.... "

Francis took a deep breathe....
The horse neigh again.. Sending shivers all over him... He wonder if neighing was a warning..the horse warning him not to dare.....

"Come on.. We have no time.... "

Francis exhales... Then he mounted and Katherine pulled him up.. Into her back....

"Whoop... Thanks... "He muttered when he was fully on the horse back...

Katherine saddled... And the horse began to canters.... Leaving Adesa there to her thoughts...

The horse began to gallops as much as she can when they were on sand.... Outside.....

In that frozen second of stand off and fighting..... King Dafuda thrust forward again with his bleeding hand... His menacing eyes blazing anger... Jafar cruel words ringing in his head....

King Jafar sword block his. Drawing them close.. Their hands firm on the sword handle... Both men groaning.. Grunting.... Their powers clashed.... Each trying to thrust his sword forward.. Into the other....

Consternation tinge with a cold sweat lick through Vuga as he thought his father may be on the loosing side because of his bleeding hand and all hell will break lose....

He sigh.. A sigh of relief when they jolted back..... Each standing apart.. Each calculating their next move.... Guards from both sides agitated and solely in the mood of war.....

With a thud... King Jafar mounted forward.... His every move blocked by king Dafuda....

Their swords clanking... Jamming... Echoing in the ears of everyone around.... A foreboding terror overwhelmed Vuga.... As his father sword was hit to the ground by king Jafar.....

King Jafar gave him a taunting wicked smile.... "Give up Dafuda... This will all be over the moment you sign that scroll.. Giving ownership of the goldmine to me... "

Anguish.... Horror... Angst... Flood through King Dafuda.... "Over my dead body... "

"You don't want this war you are starting.... "King Jafar said irritated...

"You started this war the Moment you harmed my daughter.... "He said walking to his horse and quickly pulled out another sword from the saddle......."We end this today.... "He was about to thrust forward when he heard her voice.. Her scream....

Her voice called everyone attention as they quickly look back......

Shock etched on everyone faces.. They watch as she marched forward..

"Katherine.... "King Dafuda muttered with shaking mouth.....

Without hesitation... She ran towards him.... Eyes on her... She increase her pace. Running into his embrace....

"How is she alive...? King Jafar muttered...trepidation in his voice.....then his eyes fell on Francis.... "That little wrench.. "He groan

"Your daughter is home now.. Lets proceed with our deal.... "he added when he realise everything was about to go wrong

Eyes sparkling with anger.... King Jafar let go of the embrace... Freeing himself from her hands... He turn to face Jafar..... "It's over Jafar.... There is no deal.... "

King Jafar scoffs... "We still stand by our agreement.. Which is i give you your daughter.. And you give me the goldmine.... "

"But you didn't hold to your end.. Did you...?
Francis voice interrupted them... He became the center of attention......

"This little lying brat..... "King Jafar growled.... Then he shift his gaze to Dafuda... "You broke our deal when you sent that boy to rescue your daughter..... "

Something in Francis shivered when King Dafuda turn his gaze to him.. He nib his lips.. Wondering why he spoke... It wasn't in his place to do so.. But he couldn't help it.. Not after the torture.. The hell they went through.....

"Is that true.. Did you rescue my little girl? Dafuda ask....

"He did father.... "Katherine interjects..... "He rescued me.... "

King Dafuda insutilate... Skeptical of the possibility of it..... Then he shift his gaze to Jafar... "Call your men off and get out of my land...... "

King Jafar scoffs.... "It's too late for that now... I want the goldmine and i want it now..... we can do it the gentle way... Or i get it through the hard way... Nobody has to die... Make a decision now.. Or lets call it a war.... "

The name sent tension into them....

"What did the letter say? Kahefa ask..

Pious exhales.... Calming his nerves.... "He wants me to go to his house... He said he has a surprise... A surprise i will like...... "

Mary quickly turn away her face when her eyes met Francis... She was still angry despite the fact that she knows the truth.. Angry at him for not fighting... For giving in to the drug that was spiked with his drink..
She folded her hands as she look elsewhere....
Silence became the order of the day....

Sharon wonder how she was going to deal with the fact that Taiwo and Pope will both be in the house in a few minutes.. Her two boyfriends in one room staring at each others face.... She sigh maybe this way she could clear things up with Pope....

Francis exhales... His eyes fixated on Mary who was looking elsewhere... He wonder what she was thinking..... What was going on in her head.. Who was she thinking about....
He nib his lips as he wonder the reason why she had called him.. Since he arrived she had said like two words to him. Sharon had told him more people were coming... So there he is.... Waiting for the more people....
