This is where I served. I watched the documentary video tearfully. Although I am Yoruba, Effium holds a very dear place in my heart because when I served there, I felt loved, valued, and embraced. I hope peace will be restored, but the peoples of Ezza and Effium have to let go of their agelong distrusts and resentments towards each other and give another shot at peaceful coexistence.
