Dear Comfort,

I am a guy, I just did a formal introduction with my girl of about 4 years some months back. You know what? Before my introduction my mum told my girl to hold me tight and hurry me up because if she (my girl) waits for my time, then the time may never come as she (my mum) is sure that i will never be ready.

Some days to my introduction, i started having these feelings - Do I really want to go into this? Am I sure that I want to get married now? Why do I want to marry now when I can remain single and keep many girlfriends and bedmates? So many things started cropping up in my brain all against the introduction and nearby wedding.

The same thing is happeing to you guy now. It's like it happens to most guys, I am not too sure of this anyway. That is why most guys get married only when they get someone pregnant. Not that guys don't love their partners but GUYS ARE JUST SCARED OF COMMITMENT for no justifiable reason.

So, please be very very patient with your guy. He is going through some psychological stress on this issue. He loves you dearly but he is scared of commitment just like I was too and I am still scared up till today. If you pretend you are going to leave him, he will go on his kneels and beg. Just be reminding him of this regularly, don't be naughty with this. Slow and steady wins the race.

I can't believe this, I am reading this and tears droping on my cheeks. This is very unfair. You are doing this to your husband who does not deserve this. Have you ever thought of how you will feel if you find out that your husband is sleeping with another woman? I will never advice you not to do into adultery, go on do it, start sleeping with your ex-boyfriend and be ready for GOD's judgement.

You think that your husband too has not seen many other ladies there that he fancies or he does not have ex-girlfriends that still want him? Of course he has, but he has made up his mind that he has married you forever. You have done many things that got him crazy too, but he will never ever think of getting another woman. But because of little issues you have been having in your marriage you are about going into adultery. I thought the priest said that you were joined for better or for worse on the day you said "I DO".

I weep for all those that will be hurt by your actions, but i weep more for you and pray that you don't attempt sucide when you satrt to reap the reward of your actions.

We all went to st agness primary school and our lady of apostles in yaba lagos. 95% of my friends are christians.  Last sunday, i still left Lagos through  my friends  for Otta to attend Winners Chapel, imagine the distance and I am a muslim
I learnt the bible when i was very very young at about age 4 years , with open and clear mind and at the same time learnt the quran. Uptill today, i cannot find any difference between the bible and the quran. the christians say that Jesus is the son of GOD while the muslims say Jesus is the messanger, but the bottom line is "JESUS WAS SENT BY GOD". So what the Bleep are you religious hypocrytes  arguing about?
Some of you that claim to be christians hate islamic banking because it is called islamic banking, that is your problem. If you can come up with a christian bank that will give me a high interest on my deposit and charge zero interest on loans, I will bring all my family inheritance from the last seven generations  to my generation to such a bank.
Some say that the bible says that believers should have NO business with unbelievers, but did the bible mention muslims as unbelievers? Some muslims too say the same, but I am sure that the quran did not mention christians as unbelievers.
But between you and I, will GOD ask for your religion on the judgement day?
The choice is yours, make peace with everyone no matter their race or religion and you will have peace too or discriminate against people at your own loss.

Thank you for all the advice. You are all friends in need and friends in deed. My friend has told his fiancee to return the phone to the old toaster (he is about 40 yrs, still unmarried) and the girl has no other chioce than to do that but then there is this our other friend who thinks otherwise. He thinks that the girl should not return the phone because he too has bought so many things for different girls at different times and some of them still refused to date him. Instead, this our other friend said the girl should just change her sim card and number and make sure she does not contact the old toaster or any other guy again and if it happen again, then our guy should just walk out or run away from the relationship.
What do we all think?

my name is james. i am seyi's old time friend. i have to come and stay at it house because my head is really aching and i do not want to do something stupid. i am been dating this girl since 2006 and we did introduction lat month. i feel like walking out of the relationship.
i know what all the grils in the world will say , they will say that is how boys use and dump girls after many years, many grils will even curse me but GOD is the chief judge in all cases. my girl and her family are all born-again, i am not and i do not intend to be because i an not doing anything bad to deserve being born-again. if i walk out of the relationship they will all say that it is beacuse i am not a born-again but see what the born-agains are doing to me.
i am not a poor boy, thank GOD if my enemy is to be poor this girl will probably aks him to escort her to her boy friend's place. i have been providing all her needs despite the fact that we are not yet married. is this girl a good wife material or has she just be pretending? i need advice.

My friend is 30 plus, the fiancee is 27 yrs. My friend works, the fiancee is still in university. She calims to be a good girl. She said she can never date himk. She is currently writting her exams and my friend don't want to bring up any issue that will distract her attention. if she is to return the phone can my friend tell her that in two weeks time? My friend just did Introduction with his fiancee last month i.e. both families meet, talked, eat and drank together. They are yet to fix a date for the wedding.
Recently, my friend's fiancee's phone has been messing up, he gave her money to buy another one but she used it for something else with his consent though.
This lady has a long time toaster who has been toasting her for more than a year now which my friend is aware of. This toaster bought the lady a new phone , she has taken it and she told my friend. My friend is very angry about this and he is thinking of what to do.
Mind you, this my friend can afford anything and everything the lady needs and he has been providing for her, he is not rich but he is OK.
He is beside me here and very, very angry. He is thinking of quiting the relationship despite the introduction that both families did.
